Yes, we need 15 pearls. They come 6 to a "pack" so we have 3 left over. So far, of my three fishing farms, this farm has the cloud row. And has 9 extra pearls (the three left over plus 6 more). Sewinglady's farm still needs one more six-pack of pearls to get the cloud row and poor PrairieMaiden23 - no pearls. Event is almost over and still NO pearls!

I will never participate in this event again. I don't care how enticing they make it. Never again.

 

Okay, something fishy is going on. This farm just got the cloud row. From ZERO pearls to 18 pearls...with 20 vouchers I purchased two large and six small crates - got 4 premium, 3 deluxe and 1 normal lure. Dang near fell outta my chair when I got the last set of pearls needed.

I have wondered all along if they did this on purpose - made the pearls scarce in the first days and have now made the odds of getting them much much higher as we're down to 4 days left.

 

I too have this suspicion, PrairieMaiden23/dumbunny. I made lures yesterday, about 8 deluxe and 9 premium if I remember correctly, and had dismal luck (parrot fish after parrot fish, no matter where I landed ), but still managed to get 6 pearls on a marlin I think it was, and 6 more on a puffer fish of all things. Made 3 premiums today, but no love. Will save up remaining tokens until event is almost over, then, try fishing again, hopefully get last pearls needed then.

Oh pups, I'm so sorry you're still struggling! The randomness of this event is totally unfair, because success is out of your hands no matter how hard you work at it. We're reliant on a system that seems set up for us to fail.

 

I really followed all the advice I only used the deluxe bait, but the pearls are still missing, I wonder if I can not manage

 

Eight minutes till 'bear o-clock'.... I will get 12 vouchers... hmmm ... how bloody exciting...

 

I just fished 10 more times I used all Premium, I caught 4 Marlin and the very last one finally gave me 6 pearls.
So my total fishing so far is 30 times: 10 Deluxe-0 pearls
20 Premium- finally got 6 pearls
I hope I can get the CR!! I would not be happy to have done all these events and not be able to get enough pearls to get the CR!

 

I have yet to get one pearl after 30 fishing attempts, about half and half of premium and deluxe. Lots of marlin and octopus, but nary a pearl. Really not pleased.

 

This endless junking discussion IMHO is no good. But if you must then carry on.

 

I detest games that are based on totally random luck, which you have zero control over. Its like going to a fair and buying the lucky number tickets over and over again and spending $10+ in the hopes of winning a cheap large bear/dino/whatever that was probably made for $1 in some sweatshop somewhere in the world. I have a few of those to dispose of around the place .

I would like to think they are starting to ramp up the pearls based on player complaints. It really gets my goat that they have lures available to buy with the pearls, and a limit on the number of lures you can buy with said pearls, but its not dishing out the pearls. Actually it doesn't make sense what they have done at all. Obviously you would spend pearls on the cloud row first, just in case. But as there is nothing else to buy with the pearls except more lures, why would you bother? You would potentially have the cloud row, so what's the point? Somebody set the dial on "impossible" again. There should be nobody getting 0 pearls, unless they arent really participating.

 

I have 0 pearls I hate the fishing event

 

I just fished 7 more times using Premium Lures and got 0 pearls this time! So now I have to wait another 23 hours to
fish again and I am running out of time as the 6 pearls I have is not going to get me the CR!
So Total times fished 37 total pearls gotten is 6! This is a sad,sad, event!

 

I used to love the fishing event. Since they made it like this, not really. Last time I finally got the pearls a few days before the end of the event. This year, lots of marlin but sitting at 0 pearls.

 

I am one of the lucky ones at this event. CR was ready on Monday. Now 15 pearls have accumulated. It would be nice if pearls could be gifted to friends.

 

6 pearls. Very disappointed with the event. The cloud line remains a mere dream very sad about this.

I waited a couple days to accumulate some lures and even though I got some good fish, no pearls.

 

I used to like the fishing event but waiting 23 hours to fish a couple of times is terrible!

 

please don't hate me but I have received 102 pearls!
I wish that I could share, instead I have to waste them on lures....

I don't hate you david I don't hate any player who was fortunate enough to gain the pearls. Congratulations to you on your pearls! You have enough to make a necklace and with Mother's Day around the corner, it is the perfect gift

Just because I am frustrated with the results on my own farm does not mean I can't celebrate good news for someone else

Don't give up hope! I just fished 4 more times with Premium and got 6 pearls from Parrot fish and then got a Marlin and 6 more pearls! I can now get my stalk and get my CR up and running! So now I have fished a total of 41 times!
Congratulations to all who have got the oh so rare pearls! Good luck to everyone still trying I have my fingers crossed for you all!
