The farm wife ran away!:cry:

    No more kisses :cry::cry:

Now I must sleep in the barn :cry:

and worse than that: I'm kissing the pigs :cry:

Good luck with your own foolishness :)

Where does the cheese for the nachos come from?

  9. ctindaldavies

Hi Maynard. The cheese comes from the Cheese Factory workshop (Mouse) that you process on your farm lands. You can also buy it in the market place.

You need a cheese factory or you can buy cheese at the market.

Buy cheese in the marketplace... And go broke in the process if you do. Profiteers. Can't say I blame them.

Somehow, once again, THIS farm has been caught off-guard with no cheese in the barn. Good thing I have amassed a fortune in CCs. Not sure how I did that, either. However, it is all gone now, buying cheeses. Maybe this farm should divorce sewinglady and marry Farmer_broke? At least we'd have each other...even if we were dirt poor sod bustin' farmers.

    My strategy....

I have milled all the items and have all the badges ready from Baby boom. I am hopeful that I will finish crops today for the Shop Tycoon and then will place out all stables so that tomorrow morning, I will donate to this event and activate the harvest bonus for stables. I'll put out some workshops in manufactories but the rest will be stables. I have some buffs saved so that I can get instant stables, plus harvest bonus for stables so will round up all those critters as fast as I can click either until my hand aches from too much clicking or I run out of feed. ;):pxDxDxD I didn't want to activate these instant rewards until I could devote my farm to stables. I do have buffs to help shorten workshops and trees but the buffs that will make the most impact on my farm are the ones for stables so will have to sacrifice the benefits of the other instant rewards. Would have loved it if BP had made them 'saved in inventory' items so we could use them when we want.

Thank you Pups - great strategy as always! ;)
I will also maximise on the stable buffs and get as many critters into my barns as possible! Then do the same with trees when that prize runs out, or shall I do it the other way round? Or maybe one field of each on main and Baha - oh decisions, decisions! :music:
I am waiting until tomorrow to set everything in motion ... barring brain freeze! :p

Edit: By the way, Pups, only one of these boosters is for animal stalls, two are for trees. ;)

Another Edit: Okay, colour me confused - the FAQs say that two of the Parking Spots have got a Tree bonus but the actual event shows a Workshop bonus! Lucky that Pups posted as I thought they were all animal bonuses! xD

That changes my strategy. Tonight I will place animal pens, tomorrow night I will place workshops and then finish with trees on the last day. I will probably use an additional buff to maximise having all the stalls/workshops/trees out. :D

Yet another edit: COMPLETELY ignore any of this nonsense! The bonuses run for 48 hours so somehow, I have to make some decision about when I put out what ... can't really make the best of these prizes. Back to the drawing board! :wuerg:

    Another diversion
I give up on being a good farm husband.
What would you do or think if you received an igm from your farm spouse with

    .

in the subject line and nothing to read.

I just moved on out of the big house into the barn
and now the pig likes to kiss.

So I'm not a keeper. What did I do?

Well the barn is not going to be so bad anyway.
    Put on a new roof.
Made a nice and comfy bed.
    Have lights ..... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
And now working on running water in the barn.

Then it's back to sitting under the broke tree and stuffin leaves into my pocket.

I miss the farm wife though.

Wish you well with whatever you do.

My planning went out the window....xDxDxDxD

When crops finished for Tycoon, and I placed stables, I thought "why wait until tomorrow to activate the stable buffs/bonuses?" I did it immediately, enlisted my daughter to help harvest the instant stables, and 5.5 hours later, my feed stocks are completely emptyxD except PF and MM. I put out trees and gave them all a nice boost of turbo mulch so they were ready this morning.

Now my mill needs to work overtime to make more feed:p

The 'wildlife' stables (as Mom calls them) from wonder stables gave 10 per harvest so some of my feeds that were only 100 turned into 1k animals. Neons gave 19 each!:inlove::inlove::inlove: so I was able to boost my base breeding stock. Since I got caught up in feeding stables, I neglected to keep some for workshops so my plan is not balanced. I could purchase more feed in the shop but honestly, my hand aches from so much clicking so I'm resting with trees. Taking a 'leaf from broke's book' and stuffing the leaves into the barn ;):pxDxDxD

Good luck to those still working. Congrats to those done :)

I did all 3 sides of A night at the drive-in!:music: I have both poccolo boxes out and all red curtains up on the Joes diner! I would
have liked being able to get and give "sea salt" as a neighbor gift as well as the "marble rock"! But I did find the drops were good in both events! Good luck everyone, and congrats to all who have finished!:D

Holy cow! What a weekend it has been. RL got in the way of farming (more on that in a bit). But, I think if I can get enough salts from this morning's harvest the teenager farm will have this event complete. This farm finished it yesterday. And SL's farm finished it Friday.

So the actual farmer's market is back! And we were there...and my DH is in big trouble - because he sold almost everything he took down there (he makes things in his garage out of junk). So every night after work, he has to bodge more junk into not junk. I did very well, too, so it's off to the dungeon as soon as I get the morning farming done. Aprons and cozies and bags, oh my!

Farmer_broke: Maybe Mrs. Broke will let you back into the house if you apologize profusely and promise to never do it again? Or, maybe living in the barn isn't so bad? Sometimes my DH thinks living in the garage is preferable to living in the house with me. Then his tummy grumbles and it's time for dinner and he changes his mind.
