    How pretty, hope all goes well for this cute boy!
    So very sorry about Nischa and Albus; heartbreaking. Unknown cause is worrisome. Praying for no further problems for your little ones.

    I'm so sorry. You sure have had a terrible month. I think it sounds like someone got heavy hoofed. Maybe they went to nurse the wrong mother and they didn't like it. Hope all is well with the other babies.

    It gets worse, I lost Jester on Sunday. He is at a specialist Path lab to try to find out what the "*" is going on, it is so scary. All adults are fine but babies dropping like flies.

    I am so sorry - what a nightmare you are going through. Can't imagine your pain right now. At least the adults are ok, and I hope you get some answers soon.

    And now Ayla.. She and Jester are at a Gov Path lab to work out what the @@@ is going on. I am scared beyond, babies bleeding out through rectum and vet hasn't an answer. Results will dribble in over the next 3 weeks but in the meantime, will I loose Jasper and Hazel & Katya is due to calf but I want her to cross legs until we know a reason of why my babies are dying.. So scary, never had these issues. Beyond scared. x

    Setaria tundra ? has occasionally caused deaths of calves in Finland. Adult deer can withstand it much better.
    It often also leads to peritonitis.

    I am very sad about your losses. :(

    Hopefully answers will come soon and hopefully there will be a way to combat and counter whatever it is.

    :eek::eek:!!!!!!!:cry::((( Many, many, many hugs, prayers, love, and as much caring and support as our hearts:inlove: can send to you! We all love you and your herd so much, and hope answers will be forthcoming very soon! At least the adults are being spared - very grateful for that.:oops::inlove: Do you know if the Vets have considered what IpsiDei suggested above?

    How is Pookie taking all this?:( As "Guardian of the herd", "...and 'her' herd includes you...she must be saddened, too...:cry::inlove:
    Heart-hugs for you all!:inlove::inlove::inlove:

    Have never heard of this. Thank you, now on to Googling, as vets are are stuck at the moment. Katya's calf died within hours of birth too. I'm beyond devastated.
    Thank you. Just done a Google and symptoms are not the same. No loss of body condition, no scouring and no mosquitoes around yet. Thank you but I don't think it is. xxx
