Totals needed to fill all 16 tiles once - quite useless -

28 Tent - crop/tree drop on Green Meadow
63 Thermos Flasks - crop/tree drop on Main Field
1251 Glowberry - 5:30 hr Event Plant on Main Field
8 Backpack - needs another 32 Thermos Flasks and 496 Glowberry to mill

Thank you habalala, looks very doable! Guess that is why it is rated medium for difficulty.
If anyone needs help with drops, please leave the request in this thread. All eventers read the strategies.

I doubt my initial post .. the low requirement seems too good to be true. There has to be a catch somewhere..

I think you are right to doubt your initial post (a catch?) because from my understanding, for example: square 1 requires 3 backpacks. This square 1 is required for the #'s 2, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15 bingo combos, therefore, 7 x 3 (21) backpacks are required just for square 1 if you want to finish the bingo combos requiring this square.

Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.

 

Yep, thanks growalot! I found it in the FAQ: Once you have redeemed a Bingo combination, the Lanterns reset! Only one Bingo combination can be redeemed at a time.

I will be participating mainly for the prizes along the way because the CR looks a little mwah! Mind you, with the number of events we have and the cool down of 24 hours, maybe it will be worthwhile.

By using my usual time online, I cannot do it with just one field - I would need more than three harvests a day so I will be using CFs overnight:

6 Harvests (overnight) of 44 CFs with SG (if necessary) and SSG = 6 x 880 = 5280
10 Harvests (2 per day) of 176 1x1s (trees on perimeter) with water and manure = 10 x 528 = 5280

I may jiggle with this later on either to finish earlier or use less SG/SSG but just wanted to show the difference when using CFs. I think, if memory serves, CFs with SG, manure and water will take the same time as 176 1x1s with water and manure BUT will give less drops.

We've done this event before. The first time I remember participating, the lanterns reset after each "bingo". The last time I remember participating, the lanterns did NOT reset and we just had to fill the card until it was full one time. I suspect that the difference was the crop/drop requirements. This is why Habalala was initially confused.

Still, thank you, Habalala, for starting this thread.

I am of two minds. I am about to do my morning farming. Do I start this event? On all 3 farms? Baby farms? Do I just keep growing gooseberries? I don't know what to do. I do know that I have a pile of fabric grocery bags on the sewing table in the basement awaiting my ministrations...so much to do...so little time.

Would having 2-3 Howie Donut help get the same quantity of drops?

 

If I´m right - maybe not - all tents are very good to be much than needed, because:

Lantern 12 - 10 tents - 20x super-crow

I think/wonder IF a Single lantern can be lighted => every 10 tents and You get 20 supercrow, is that possible !?
So if I´m right, I do as many tents "overflow" than possible and get "back" supercrow´s used start the event quick!

(sorry "rally-english", I´m Finnish and try to write without using translator everytime!)

 

CF = 44 plots -> max is 44 drops
1x1 = 176 plots -> max is 176 drops

Howies do have a small effect on how many drops will drop but will do nothing on the max amount (which depends on the number of fields)

Good one! Too bad we can't redeem a single lantern but it is possible to add lantern 12 as an extra to any combo before redeeming it. Redeeming a combo is needed to reset the lanterns.

 

I have never seen such a useless and ridiculous event game before. A figure that has been made cannot be made once again. And the products are wasted unfortunately.
I started as it might be fun, but I'm giving up.

There is one thing I don't understand: If we are going to play the already determined combinations, why are overdelivery of items allowed? Why can a product be delivered again for a combination that has already been made? Products given outside of the combination must either be undeliverable or be returned.

I think I have been very careful in the delivery of the lanterns. Thanks to imalattanhalka, I KNOW I will be VERY careful from this point forward. The only reason to sacrifice the goods is if you really want the goodies delivered from lighting that lantern...If you WANT to do that - you have to plan it out because there's no going back and repeating a pattern.

As you can tell, I'm doing this event on the usual farms. Here's the thing for all of us with baby farms: Those baby farms are yielding drops - the tents and flasks. A couple of the lantern combos ONLY require tents and flasks. So baby farms needn't grow the event crop to participate a little bit and pick up a few goodies from this one.

 

OK, thanks ! So, every time think I, I use that +12 lantern and get "extra" 10 supercrows ! Now I have 300 (excact) tents so I have "leftovers"
