Strategy: Carnival Queen & Carnival Support Quest

My results are 0-21. I did not notice any in that 0 round, but perhaps I just missed something. There was not 21 coins, but their value was 21 in best one.

Have to ask, what happened? Year 1918... World War 1 ENDs 11.11 o clock? Or I don´t get it right... But Finland Independents 1917 so the WW1 end maybe earlier... not good in History (lessons)...

 

I done 13 Mini games, including free one my first game gave me 15 Star Coins, One Mini Game gave me no Star Coins, My best game was 21 Star Coins on average getting 9 Star Coins per Mini Game

Dont forget use up any Season Tokens too i only got two left not worth bothering

I will do one more Full Harvest of Sweetheart Rose, Then i out out Ixora Crop as need to maximize drops of Candy Baskets as Gold and Diamond Level 1 needs lots of Candy Baskets

Yesterday's best game was 18 star coins and today's best was 27! I've had some as low as 3 so I'm glad to see some higher results I got a farmwheel bonus yesterday so with a 100% Overall Revenue bonus plus a 100% Crop bonus, I got 63 (or 66?) crops from comfort fields so my crops have outpaced my drops. Those bonuses have now expired so my fields are back in 1x1 plots so drops should start coming along soon.

Thanks for the reminder of the season tokens. I used those last night in order to be sure I got the benefit of them before the Season ended.

 

It's the signing of the Armistice that ended WWI. It was signed on 11 November 1918 and came into force at 11AM.

 

In the US, we call November 11 Veteran's Day. But years ago we called it "Armistice Day" because ctindaldavies is right - the end of WWI was at 11:11 a.m. on November 11, 1918.

I also call November 11 my grandmother's birthday. She was born in 1913. So the day was always extra special to her - that they ended the war on her 5th birthday. She passed away in 2006.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I've played quite a few mini-games on at least 5 different farms. The star coins seem to be hit or miss. You either get a bunch (most I've caught was 21) or meh (as few as 3). It doesn't matter how high a level the farm is, it's completely random as far as I can tell.

Use your tokens when you harvest tonight, I told myself. Don't forget your tokens, the voices in my head said. Make sure you use those tokens! resonated all day long in my memory. Got home late, was really, really tired, and what did I do. Forgot the tokens. Made especially ouch-worthy because I had enough tokens to get 2 harvest bonuses. Such is the life of a ditz.

Best StarCoinsGame (2 times) in my farm is 21 starcoins, total 579 in 53 games, almost all 3+1 piccoloboxes and it´s not even Saturday morning! My goals ready when 600 SC´s is in my account! Everything + is total ++

Nice to see that ALL the best "catch´s" are now VERY BIG even without my eyeglasses is possible to catch them!

Just now my "number" for this Event is/can be as high than 9,5 / 10 !

I have just played 66 floral baskets! that I got from the Quest support, well 65 from quest and 1 free for those counting! I got 849 Star coins! and have bought 3 piccolo boxes and 2 silo up grades and have my CR up and running. I will continue playing to now just get some extra goodies from the Queen! Congratulations to everyone who has reached their goals. I love this event and think it is great fun!

I am kind of stuck in the middle! I just harvested my 1st piccolo box and got a "Fairy Hot Springs" which gives me 1 GW for 15 times I do love my GW! (green water) lol

 

Oh, I also forgot to use my season tokens!! I doing the farmer society quest for the baskets. Not getting a very good drop rate! I have enough sweetheart roses, so I put out Ixora. Hopefully that will work well!

 

Last harvest in to finish the FSQ. I have bought the Piccolo Boxes - my first one gave me a Magic Hat - happy with that (I think David's rhyming might have rubbed off on me!).

I haven't managed to win anything major on the Wheel - one +1 crop - but I did use a +100% Plant Revenue Bonus that I had to speed things up a tad.

I had a pleasant surprise when I purchased the Wonder Stables - there were three! Didn't expect that (but obviously missed that in the FAQs!). I will try to buy as many of those as I can - thought about the Neon Stables and the Silo upgrades but I think I prefer the Wonder Stables. Everything crossed for those and the Piccolo Boxes.
Will carry on now to get as many Star Coins as possible.

Congrats to all who have CR up and going and can now concentrate on just goodie gathering! I too have achieved the
CR, and managed to get 600 star coins in 51 games to buy the 3 Piccolos. Best catch was 24 twice, mostly averaged 12. I did only the silver levels of the quest, and had enough flowers and drops left to mill 9 more baskets (probably done now), and am continuing to grow, grow, grow so I can grab, grab, grab. I can't seem to get lucky on the wheel, so I used one harvest each from my 2 Jack O' Gifts, which allowed me to double up on harvests and get necessary plants for quest fairly quickly. Next goal is the Crates O' Buffs, then the Wonder Stables, and any extra coins will go towards party tickets and neon stables.

I did have a first this carnival event. I usually play with my farm on my old (bought in 2011) laptop. We got a shiny new laptop i2 Christmas' ago because I thought mine was about to die on me (it's been slowly fading away for at least 3 years ). Long story short, I usually leave the new one for my husband to use, but I'm finding it almost impossible to get my old one to connect to internet the last few weeks, so did the event on the new one, which has a touch screen. I did all my catching with the touch screen rather than the mouse, and I have to say, I rather liked it!

 

I got super lucky on the farmwheel with crop bonuses (100% bonus and 200% bonus) but it does mean that I'm way way behind on drops. I've finished the support quest plus milled a more, but I have enough crops to do 54 more baskets. Which means I'm short over 1000 drops
I think I'm off growing event crops for a while and instead growing some long crops with all the time shortening bonuses.
