FAQ The Road to Gold


Every player will get 10 x White Bone Daisies seeds at the beginning of the event.
Note: The other two Event crops need to be crafted in the Mill. Once you have some starter seeds milled, you can continue to grow and harvest them normally.

Mill products:
Flowering Contract
Ingredients: 335 x White Bone Daisies + 114 x Mystic Picks = 6 x Flowering Contracts

Crypt Creeper
Ingredients: 158 x Flowering Contracts + 76 x Mystic Picks = 4 x Crypt Creepers

It is definitely not worthwhile to produce more than the minimum number of seeds in the mill at the starting, and then it is unnecessary and wasteful.


Needed:
Crops:

12,759 + 335 = 13,094 x White Bone Daisies (Time: 6 hours, Plantable on the Full Moon field and Mushroom Forest only!)

6,006 + 158 = 6,164 x Flowering Contracts (Time: 8 hours, Plantable on the Full Moon field and Mushroom Forest only!)

4,826 x Crypt Creepers (Time: 5 hours, Plantable on the Full Moon field and Mushroom Forest only!)

Drop: 999 + 114 + 76 = 1,189 x Mystic Picks (You will get these drops when harvesting your full moon field and mushroom forest from crops, trees, stables and workshops.)

I'm not sure I will do this activity. I can try to clear the mushroom forest field. If anyone needs drop I will send. Good luck to everyone who will participate in the event.

 

24,000 crops (avg growtime aprox 6h30) plus 1,200 drops in 5 days on 2 fields.
I think the 25 SG and 20 SSG rewards aren't enough to cover the amount needed to get the other poor rewards.
Players without Horror Tomato stable and Grave Candle and Midnight Oak might give it a try thou.

My moonlight farmfields will be covered with spooky trees and Spider Fern (growtime 5h30, EP equal to event plants)

 

I may sit this one out as well, haven't decided. The prizes aren't all that enticing - no piccolos . And I could stand to replenish some of my MM crops/animals. I already have the stables/trees being offered, so there's no appeal there. At least main fields are free to grow tortoises and crops I'm low on, can't beat that. Good luck and have fun to all who decide to go for it!

 

nice to see they have been listening to feedback for once....offering a midnight oak tree as a reward. there is no other way to earn one of these, only trading in G&T if anyone is offering one and you have what they want to trade for.
hopefully they will apply this to other items no longer readily available in the game.

 

I thought the midnight oak was a reward in one of the MM quests. I know how my teenager farm got a couple - they were in a Pick-a-tree mini-event a couple months ago. Was worth the BBs to buy a few chances and whew, got a couple.

If you don't have the mushroom field open, skip this event and work on getting more of it open...that's better than any of the goodies you'll get doing this event.

As a returning player with a new account I will not waste my time on this event so close to restarting - I will work on the Quests that give me items to help with the quests to clear the land.

I totally agree with you @dumbunny I started listing my crops needed to open mushroom fields.

 

It's nice that the event is only on the full moon grounds. Now we can make up for what we lack in our other lands. I will raise my animals and grow fruits and plants for their fodder. Now it's time to take a breather. I'm sure everyone has a plan. Good luck to all farmers.

 

I do not not anything better to do in my Moonlight areas, so it is good to have event there. I won't get much drops with start, I forgot the end of last MM and I have short crops and most of my long time trees are in my storage as well.

Thanks broken Assistant builder I loose all White bone seeds 10 seeds. Note for all, be careful if you currently use Assistant builder remove fields, it remove also all trees and fields with green drops and Suzy's super grow too.

 

no, its a xxl midnight oak upgrade but you dont get the base tree unfortunately

 

I wanted to get at least the first 200 Season points, but I really don't have the will to produce 2000 event crops while I have so many normal MM crops that need to be increased in quantity. I guess I can complete the season without those 200 points.

 

Thanks for the reminder that it's an XXL upgrade. And don't be in a hurry to get it. SL's farm has it. It makes ONE midnight oak faster to ripen than all the others (which drives me nuts!).

Woke up this morning, and realized that just as Greek-Guy has noted, I can live without those season points. So this is still a big nope for me.

 

No for me as well. Too many crops to grow and I really need to restock the barn. I am grateful for the long Moon time though!

Hopefully enough farmers participate so we get more of these long moons!

 

No from be too. Too many crops and what are the chances of the cloud row coinciding with MM. I just do all cloud rows once a day.
