Placed the Howie....yes harvesting every 3 hours...long time to think about that bathlots of manure to wash off ya know!

 

I don't think it matters if you start with the 4 hour crop or the 8 hour crop. I've tried both in this type of event and when you finish growing the first crop, you only have a quarter of the drops needed. You can't even start growing the second crop before you get all the drops needed for the first half. Definitely not my favorite event!

An extremely busy week with lots of unexpected time away from home -- I just finished the voodoo lilies and still need 352 compasses. Planting Ixora with buffs and 3 howies.

 

I've gotten to the Checkered Flag but I'm not completely in the Finish!

In other words, all the plants have been grown but to the last level and Piccolo Box is still on its way, only 440 drops in stock, Lablab Beans in fields and ready 05.36 our Local time, would hardly be worth waking up to even if nothing is going in the morning.

 

Finally got the CR. Don't think I'll get to the Piccolo box.

 

Now I need ANY Compass what I can get, so if You WANT to give me some, so my gamename is same as this aka:

Now I have 597, so needed 213 Drops/Compass to get that Piccolo, 48 min Bell-Peppers / Big Plots 1st time to trying how many I can get in 1 planting...

edit: all of 7 my gift NOT given, so "With the eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" principle (saying / we will say at least in Finland!) You will then get back if you are one of the first 7 donors (if I can give to anyone other than my neighbors!)

Really complicated send that gift.

1) You must first write to him from whom you received the gift,
2) Then add him when he writes to you, as a friend
3) and then choose from the mail guys and send a gift.

At least I don't know an easier way ...

One player said that the game says I have received the maximum number of gifts, this is not the case, I have received 3 gifts today and the limit is 20! So if you get a message like this, you must first add us as Friends, only then will you be able to send a gift!

If anyone knows an easier way OR I misrepresented this above (with the help of a translator) then GET ADVICE!

I used my SGs and SSGs in a unrestrained manner without any count. I have now 748 drops.

 

Now 701 drops, 2 gifts left, so 2 first to give me, can get back if wanted so send gift and send message so I can get drop back!

I finished the event.

Last harvest of 125 1x1 plots of Lablab Beans with 10 howies gave me 108 compasses. . So I am left with 47 compasses, 2 bushes and 1 doll after finishing the event. With regard to the event crops, I congratulate myself that I did not overgrow any of them. (Silly Achievement & Pride. But one should indulge in vice now and then. Otherwise how is one enjoy life. )

Cheers to all those who racing to finish the event and congrats to those who have finished and a big Salute to those wise persons who did not do the event.

I have now accumulated 1096 BBs. Please give me advise friends, Shall I but Menageries, Manufactories and arboretums or store it for any future use. I few of those storage houses but not a lot.

 

Cloudrow up and running. I'll be able to finish first two steps of second half with one more harvest of Buccabears - more than I thought I could do.

Sewinglady got it all done. This farm and PM23's went as far as they could, but I'm short crops and drops and gave up last night.

A BIG THANK YOU ALL and apologies to those I claimed that I can’t have the maximum number of neighbor and friend gifts.

Apparently it was, suddenly a 30 x "Compass" gift appeared from my unnamed (here in forum) player!
THANK YOU TO HIM/HER, I have already sent a message and greetings from Suzy Flight.

I NEVER pay such amounts of BB to other players, strangers especially what this helpful player donated, I think his broadcast cost him 29x 2 BB or/= 58x BB.

I have a total of 23 BB in my game account, so no pay-back, sorry...

But FULLY DONE now the event!

Congratulations to all the farmers who finished the event. I'm one of those who couldn't finish it, but I got a CR sometimes no matter what you do, but it doesn't matter.

 

I finished the activity this morning. The second period was far from fun. I don't know why I finished.

Could the piccolo box be the reason you finished it?

 

Congratulations to those who finished this challenging event. I was over 200 compasses short at the end to get the piccolo box but as a bonus I received one in a Crate of Kung Fu from the recent cloudrow. That was a big surprise as I thought they were extremely rare.

 

My thoughts exactly. Word to word. I feel like a fool for doing and finishing the second half.

I don't think so. I think the reason is that Farmerama has imprinted in our blueprint that we should finish all the tasks they give us in the events. It is an involuntary reaction much against our rational. They have hypnotised us for the past 12 years. No getting out unless we make a very conscious and unrelenting effort. But even a moment of weakness is enough for us to go back to our old ways. That's what the second part of the event proved.
