I find the scoring on this game type overly complicated and confusing. I also HATE that you have an event crop that can only be planted on the Glade. That is always a losing start for me.

 

Who among us would not hate.

Maybe the game coordinator who comes up with this will sometimes realize getting a new job.
At least subtle feedback hasn’t helped over the years.

What is the point of bringing new animals and trees into the game when they are always unnecessarily removed from production.

 

Oh crash I didn't even realize before reading this thread... I am NOT uprooting all my mammoth trees and the arboretums.
Seriously? Why do you put event plants in the glade when you KNOW everyone put the things they don't want rearranged every few days there?

 

Glade is to JUMBOS and those givers that I don´t have space in Petplaygruond... Let there be only events and event plants only Rainforest, Bahamain, Main and Greenmeadow - thanks ! (and drops also same areas, BUT trees from Glade, those Jumbos 1 drop every time...)

 

I am not uprooting my glade for this event. I am one of those who use the glade for things we cannot fit anywhere else like my jumbo trees and arboretums. I am going to skip this event.

 

I have to echo that I'm not ripping up my glade. Guess I'm skipping this one.

 

what i do not get is .....the event field. so there are 2 different crops to grow for this event which takes over 2 of our fields. if we are not using the event field for the event why do they not open it up for general usage??
at least then, by decommissioning 2 of our fields to participate in the event we could utilize the event field for general usage which would soften the blow of losing and rearranging 2 whole fields!!
considering that the conveyor belt of events rolls out every week, without fail, a new event, decommissioning fields here,there and everywhere, demanding we reorganize to participate, whilst the actual event field lays fallow and inaccessible is incomprehensible....

 

It doesn't happen often, but often enough, that I have topped all my pizzas but still have to place toppings in the windows before the round ends. Having to place those toppings doesn't improve my score so they are really just unnecessary clicks. Much like when we get a Bullseye with Ingrid, regardless of how many axe throws are left, the round ends. I would like that to be the case for pizzas. When they are all decorated, end the round.

I do like that the harvest times 'match' in that every 2nd round of tomatoes, the mozzarella is ready when both crops are watered. Making good progress but it also feels slow. With events back to back, it is nice to finish early so we can sneak in some normal farming before the next event starts.

We are halfway through event time and I have 33 games played so will be able to finish but not with a wide margin.
