Yes, good advice - I personally light the lantern number 12 every time and get those SG x8 from every game. I plant just over 9000 crops so I don´t notice to get extra season points... or Turbo mulch (over 4000 is my record now, before last weeks it was under 2000) even...

 

Yes, we have been at home for most of the two years with just weekly visits to the shop. We were pretty careful but, just before our trip, we became hyper paranoid about catching Covid - we needed to have a negative test before flying - so we were soooo cautious. For the first week in the States, we had to keep reminding ourselves that we were actually there!
I finished the event on Saturday despite a little hiccough when I delivered to a wrong square!

When we were on the road last September, if we hadn't found that Fred Meyer with a Starbucks inside in Pocatello, Idaho... I would have lost my streak with Fuzzles on this farm and SL's. I didn't farm every day while we were traveling, but I did try to log in to get the daily prizes. I'm pretty sure this just confirms my FOCD is a very bad case; likely irreversible.

I took Saturday off from farming. I was so tired after the RL farmer's market, I couldn't think, and I knew I'd goof things up, so I never even turned my 'puter on. So Sunday, I managed to finally get PM23's farm to the finish line.

Folks, if you're having weird issues with the pattern squares (the ones across the bottom of the event window), you are not imagining it and you are not alone. This farm couldn't keep them lit to get the pattern circles on the lantern area to stay. And PM23's farm, I'd poke at the last one I needed to finish the event, and the one next to it that I had already done kept getting big and putting its circles around the lanterns. So frustrating! It's also how I goofed up on this farm in the beginning - which caused me to need to grow an extra two fields of event plant.

This should have been an easy peasy event. But the glitches made it harder than it really was. I suppose I should post this in the comment thread...

 

I'll have to remember to fill those extra squares next time for extra prizes. That is a good tip, but I saw it too late for this time. I tried getting extra prizes when I had finished all the designs, but you cannot donate anything once you finished all the designs.

This was surprisingly easy to finish - I definitely have not been harvesting on time for the last several events. My life is just too busy right now!!! I did nothing extra to try and get drops and I had more than enough. It's nice to have events like this every so often!
