What a long, boring game - to have to wait 24 hours for one lure is ridiculous. You really need to think of the players when you plan these events. It used to be a better game when we didn't have these silly bubbles to wait 24 hours. Go back to how it used to be & as far as landing on the spot to get a marlin - it really doesn't matter a whole lot where you land - I've landed right on the spot & got some other fish - then I've landed on not the right spot & got a marlin so make the game better & more accurate. I think the chance of getting the marlin depends on how you have programmed the event rather than how accurate we are.

I used to love the fishing event, but I hate having to play the mini events in order get the bubbles and then to have to wait 23 hours to harvest the bubbles just to participate. I find it too limiting in the number of games I am able to play.

    Dear fellow players and farmers.

A fishing event should not be treated as an event, but like a prize calendar, Wheel of Fortune or bonus code. Something extra once a day. ;) As an extra, a couple of new cloud rows where you can get pearls more easily than before. :D:inlove:

This use to be one of my favourite games. Since making the bubbles to get lures and having to wait 24 hours for them it is boring!! I forget to get them & find I am only getting the two smallest lures. Before when you had to make them I would always do the best lures that gave 3 fish. Like Floridasolve says I do not think that it matters where you land but it is just luck of the game what you catch. My first lure was way off target & I got my one & only Marlin. Next time I landed right on the spot & got 2 Mackerels. We asked during the last fishing event to please turn it back to what it was before with no luck. I give it 2 thumbs down the way it is!

    Hello wildcat,

No, I don't think this event sounds like what you said. Not like that.
If you've noticed, we are required to do some events that will be announced during the month to earn lures, pearls and cloud rows.

I think this event is player (money) hunting, not fishing. ;)

Unfortunately, my helpful English would not be enough for his/her job. My guess about his/her identity is the former Finnish team leader. ;)

From the beginning to the end of the event, get one lure for fishing by collecting free it once a day in your main harvest. That's an extra bonus.;)
If you're greedy like me and also want cloud rows, it's a game event.:D

Wha-aa-tt ? :inlove: You know I´m Finnish but just now not knowing any "phrase" in Finnish with Camel... have to translate...(edit: translated by "G" and...still not know what "phrase" You mean, please tell to me... in-game PM in finnish please Ipsi o_O:wuerg:xD)

and the MAIN thing in this message: openet 18 lureboxes, fishing all lures, get 1 best lure and not a single Marlin (best spot every time) and only ones the pearls (2 at the time) so:

"nothing is so important than gardening... and that is also not that important"
    (<--other known Finnish proverb)...
Finnish-idea-of-that is in english like "try, try and once again try"... <-- my own idea ;) :)

Preferably not, because Ipsi is my name. However, I can't stop it either, because people do what they do.

...and I'm that goofy dog. ;)
"the straw that broke the camel's back"
Arabic at first, but quite common in Finland, so Google it in Finnish. xD

I put that just for one word. ;):pxD

    OK.

I'm not sure I'll do the other three events. If so, I won't be able to get the cloud rows for this event.

No, it's definitely not like a bonus code. Not being able to complete the event even though you go fishing every day.

    Just a feeling of failure.

If you did Neon Beach Party, you can get one cloud row. I already have it up and running. The first bubble gives two Crates daily, so collecting just them you will get fishing rewards and if lucky, you can buy everything nice with pearls.

I would say "the last straw, which broke camel's back"

    Hello everyone.
The probability of winning pearls in this event is quite high. CR1 up and running.8)
I like easy and generous activities. 8):p
Waiting 24 hours for bait crates is a bit boring.-.-

Thus far I am not liking this 'event'. Boring having to wait to open lure crates. Would rather be able to grow and choose what lures I want to make - like it use to be. It doesn't seem to matter where you stop in the fishing circle - I have tried different spots and it is all the same. What is the point of the fishing circle then - why even bother to have it?

I remember now why I was gone from the game for a year!!

So far Sewinglady's farm has the first CR up and running. So I wholeheartedly agree with Imalalattanhalka.

This farm and PM23 are saving up the lure crates. I swear you'll get a better chance for at least one or two deluxe lures if you wait until you have around 20 (or more) crates to open at once.

Honestly, I do think that the odds of winning the pearls is much better than the last go around of this event. Sewinglady's farm has received them from several different fish crates - including the lobster!

And IpsiDei is right - this is one of those do what you can, reap what you can and don't sweat the rest events.

i am going to agree with my peers here. I love the fishing event when it was a fishing event. This, this is boring and I think I am gonna not have the attention to engage in this for weeks, not mention if you miss a game then you are out of luck to open another bubble. ugh

In the good old days this event was fun and worth while, now it brings to sleep:sleepy: and it's just not fun... it's just there. I am in total agreement with all you guys, this event has to be revised and transformed into a fun event.

I forgot to collect several days worth of lures. I wish there was a more visible reminder on some of the fields. But I got enough pearls for the cloudrows, the piccolo and the harvester coupons with one left over.

I just now got the last token for the last special bubble and there won't be time to collect it again.
The same thing happened with several other fishing events and it always seems a little pointless to do some other event so you get the tokens so you can collect the lures from them exactly once before fishing event is finished.

I look at it as, this is a nice extra bonus for doing other events anyway. There wasn't anything that made me HAVE to finish the Aqua stuff, and I missed some harvests because I was traveling, but I got extra rewards for doing events I would have done anyway, didn't feel the need to do anything I didn't want to do, and it was pleasant. I think people sometimes forget that this, after all, is a game, and can be played exactly how we want, and how suits our life, and if the pace of events doesn't suit us, then maybe don't attempt to FINISH them. I play two other games, and I can say with impunity that I have NEVER finished an event on either of them. The format is quite different to this game, but the concept is the same - there are offers you can use real money for but don't have to; there are events and other opportunities to win extra things that may enhance gameplay, but you don't have to have them to enjoy the game; and this game is the same. Events are there for the doing if one wants, but the game is entirely enjoyable without doing the vast majority of them. I quite like that the fishing, which is peaceful and rather fun, if a little erratic with the placement/reward ratio... can be done at my leisure, instead of cramming it all in before things end, as would happen when this was a six day event. There is no one solution that will make everyone happy. People write in feedback that they want more events or less events; they want more land or they want no more land; they want more time or they want less time... in the end, for those of us who have been playing a loooooong time, they DO listen to our feedback. There are far more wonder stables and trees given than there used to be, as prizes. We used to have gift and trade once every EIGHTEEN months instead of now, pretty much every other. We have seen the development of harvester coupons, of pink pens on the farmwheel, and frankly, of so many events that now, you can miss one and most of the time, you haven't missed anything you can't bear to live without. I've spent ten years at this game, faithfully, every day, so it's not "just a game" to me - it's a hobby, but in the end, it's still a game, and there is always another way to get whatever prize you're missing, so long as you are patient. I see more and more people saying they're not doing events, and it's always done as some kind of a statement, a protest. Do what make you happy - always, and the rest will fall in line.
