Worst Client Ever

    Nothing but problems with the client for more than a week now. Slow, laggy, can't move from screen to screen, have to refresh every time I want to do something different, generally end up on the web version, which works better but just barely. It's really kind of appalling to be having such consistently poor performance. In fact, it's notable when there ISN'T a huge delay. By the time I get everything harvested and reset, all of my bonuses have expired. This is on multiple computers, so it's not machine specific. I don't know what I expect you to do about it but I wanted to complain because I've gotten frustrated and fed up and I wonder if I'm the only one or if everyone else having the same problems have just given up and started playing something else. I'm about there.

    Hi Laurelei,

    I am sorry you are experiencing game issues. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies to see if that helps. I have cleared your server logs to see if that helps also.
    You can also try deleting the Standalone Client from your desktop, then re-installing it.

    I'm not a Mod and I don't know if this will help you or not but I thought I would share my experiences with you in the hope it might.

    A while back I was also having issues with a very slow game to play, everything was so slow I wanted to throw the computer out the window. I started to clear my cache and cookies first thing every day would I logged on and the game would be great for a while but I would find during the day as I visited other sites the game would revert back in a horrible mess again. I finally realised this happened only after I would log into my email account, once I did that I would have to clear everything again and restart my computer. I live in Australia and my email is with Optus. Something similar happened a few years ago before the new client but at that time I couldn't log in at all and had to go to Support. It took them a good two weeks or so of back and forth (and they had several users with the same issue at the time) and eventually they worked out it was something to do with Optus (but I don't know what) and once they figured out that they resolved the problem very quickly.

    You might like to do some testing of your own to see if there is another site that is interfering with your game?
