I think that the two event crops look too similar upon planting. Yes, they are obviously different plants when matured, but just after planted they are exacly the same. Why?!?

It is very nice that the two event crops take the same time.
    :D
It is intensely stupid that they are the same colour.

I always like the idea of events on the event playfield.... usually I gripe about the fact that we cannot use any enhancements to crop growth time or harvest quantity, but this time I am very much enjoying the laid-back approach. We have plenty of time. The drops are plentiful. This is a rare opportunity to participate in an event AND keep farming normally, however we would like, on all fields. I, too, appreciate that the crops are the same growth time, and I, too, think they are too similar immediately upon planting. Prizes are nice for the amount of effort required, and I always enjoy the chance to add to each prize by doing the side bars. I know a lot of people will disagree with my next statement, but I'd like to see the vast majority of events run like this, and save the "usual protocol" for seasonal, special events - the way it used to be, when we had only one or two events in a whole month, and they were special, and we all looked forward to them. The best possible thing would be to have all events on the event field, but with all enhancements available, and then keep the requirements reasonable so that events could be five to seven days - the drawback to the easy approach is that it does get tedious. But the second best outcome would be, as I described, normal events run just like this one, where no one has an advantage, and then special events on the other fields. I know that the argument would be, then how do we make up for missed harvests if we can't speed the crop growth or add to the harvest, so the requirements would have to be reasonable. I also know that this will never happen, lol, but it can't hurt to suggest it... again.

I remember, like @-matselleste- , when events were special and something to look forward to. I really appreciated the time for "normal farming" And, yes, it's nice to be able to have a "laid-back approach" every once in a while!
