I will be doing this one, I enjoy the game and I think I can finish the event - all the things that I like to know before I start! Also it's always nice to be able to select our prizes.

I'm in on the usual three farms. Of course, I am now obsessed with getting all the upgrades for the new giver. Will have to find room for it on this farm and sewinglady's, though. Their giver fields are jam-packed already.

At least this outing, the Viking Goose is only 'Grunting' and not 'Warbling'...

Hold off on moving your balloon factory to the pet playground. The upgrades are not visible to plunk down on the giver from that field.
Just going to leave it on either the park or one of the Baha giver fields until fully upgraded.

Is there any benefit to getting the giver items in the star shop since those are being offered to you after playing a set number of games?

 

In my opinion No! Use your coins to buy things to help your farm! Good luck!
I have completed the 34 mini games and have 810 star coins to spend BUT I am playing on so I will wait to do that! I have CR up and running!

I agree with sanddollar15 - don't waste precious star coins on those 3 givers. You don't need them as the left side bar rewards one of each (enough for the CR). So far, I've purchased upgrades for the balloon factory and crates of buffs. Hoping to play enough extra games to get the piccolo box.

My theory on purchasing the crates of buffs over the piccolo box is that the crates tend to give things that are more beneficial regardless of what you get than the minute chance of getting something wonderful out of the piccolo box. My last piccolo box on this farm was a fairy hot springs. I'd rather have a 100% EP bonus than that - at least that's my line of thinking.

 

Does mainlands include park & lighthouse. Will the balloon factory affect them ? I purchased the upgrades with BBs & Star Coins. But just now saw they affect only mainlands. IF mainland does not include park & lighthouse, it will be a waste for me. Can someone clarify, please ?

 

All done - only managed to get the Wonder Stables which produced nothing exciting.

It was a bit disappointing to receive just 15 points regardless of whether I got a Bullseye or not after the first initial Bullseye in each level.

 

Generally, I would take 'mainlands' to include the pet playground, park and lighthouse areas. In harvesting this morning, I am pretty sure it is NOT affecting the Haunted Manor field.

 

Thanks dumbunny. It affects park & lighthouse. So atleast it useful. Haunted manor. Let's leave it. What to do ? I think it is differently classified.

I too agree 15 coins per game is somewhat stingy.

 

To those of you who have completed the cloud row, what buffs are you guys using to complete the event so quickly?

 

@FarmerDelight, I used CAC, and a Jack-o-gift, and got a plus 100% for 24 hours and the Green water so I was harvesting every 1hr and 21min so I was getting 8crops on each 1x1 and was using both lands with 4 howies on each to help with drops! That is what I did!

 

I was planning to use the 5 seasonal tokens to redeem %EP in the store. But I harvested all the main fields & that MM Field too. Only then I remembered my unused tokens. What to do ? animals stalls weren't & trees were not that much in my fields. So I redemmed them and it affeced only baha.

Don't forget to use your season tokens, if you have any. Only 7 hrs or so left.

 

I used a 24 hour Plant booster (Gold slot) and with Pinkie Pie, I got a day and a half of 100% more crops plus an Event Plant Booster (no slot) for 8 hours which gives +1 (when I had 1x1s). Overnight a couple of times I used Comfort Fields (with the +100% and SSG, this gave me 38 - I think! - crops per 2x2 plot). With three harvests a day, this worked for me.
I can't remember getting anything from the Wheel - maybe a +1 but not sure.

 

What has happened to this once great Event? Once you've hit Bulls-Eye on the five different bonus levels all you get is 15 starcoins, no matter what your combination is. Where is the strategy in that? Very disappointing.

 

Is getting ALL 4 balloon upgrades worth it or should I use my coins for more picollo box

 

I have now reached my goals! I ended up with 1,825 Star coins. I then bought the 3 Piccolo boxes and will be hoping for a
BB Tree but I do have 2 trying to catch up with imalattanhalka I also bought the 4 curtain up-grades and 1 pen to try to get a moth. never thought I would be wanting a Moth! lol I had some coins leftover and could only buy 1 harvest helper! Good luck to everyone still trying to reach their goals!
