Am I missing something??? :oops:There are no new stables or upgrades for this event.-.-
There also was no new upgrades or stables for the last wonder stable/ train event.

I'm not participating in either of these....what's the point?o_O

I agree totally, Brookeham, I think I sent 2 trains was all, and that used to be one of my favorite events. Waste of coins to buy stables to send. :p To me it seems like the last several Pick a Stable/Tree events have had nothing new to get excited about. Even mystery stables seem to give primarily orange stables, and old ones at that. Makes me wonder if BP is starting to wind down the farm...

I can't remember if the Pick-a-Stable ever has anything "new" and I can't remember the last time I bothered with it. With the train, I always try to use as many yellow pens as I can as you can maybe get an orange or upwards so worth the effort of unloading those useless yellows! :p

Pick-a-Something events are for those who are still missing something. It is easier to get missing one than trying to get from Mystery ones.

I always use train. Farm wheel gives a lot of unnecessary stable and workshop-upgrades, so if I am very lucky, I get useful upgraded one, like pink workshop. There is no room for 390 yellow shearing sheds or 538 orange donkey stables in my farm.

absolutely paaryna11, all those useless piles of yellow shearing sheds, truffle farms etc all go on the train and i get back something i can use.
having mostly neon stables now, using orange stables is false economy so i exchange some of the orange pens i have a lot of in the hope of getting an upgrade or workshop upgrade. doesn't always work out but whats to lose, it costs nothing to use the train and all those useless yellow and orange pens sitting in my inventory doing nothing not being used...may as well chance it for something better!!
i may be wrong but it seems the higher level you are, it influences what you get from the train. my baby farms are level 100+ and get a lot of orange pens...whereas i am level 200+ and get a lot of red pens and workshop upgrades...random??? coincidence??

whatever your thinking...using the train is free...whats not to like about that????
take a gamble with items you don't use or rarely use in the hopes of a brighter future;)

I do see trying for recycling yellow stables and workshops....I have over 800 yellow cow dairies! I wish we could donate masses of them.

I agree with everything stated here and I will add that "IF" BP wants us players who have been playing for a while to do these events they should give us something we might NEED to get for our farms! And the "Trains are useless" to us who have a gazillion YELLOW pens we have won:cry:off the party wheel! A big waste of a party ticket! And no real way to get rid of them! The train may be free BUT it takes an hour to get a pen back that you then need to put out on land you may need for crop growing only to get JUNK back! Well that is how it happens for me at level 231 junk on then I get junk back!xD

Thank you all for your feedback and input. ;)
I feel like I've outgrown or reached the limit of this game. It's really just a habit now.:p However it's beginning to become a chore... instead of fun. The normal prize wheel is boring and mundane. I don't even enjoy opening crates that give normal wheel spins and it's pressure to use them before I reach 99 all the time.
Hopefully BP will add something innovative and new soon... as I've stopped logging in or harvesting that often.
Sorry...don't mean to be a bummer or a downer.
I also really miss our active community chats/games/advice and sharing. The forum has become so quiet these past few years.

If you have tons of Merchant Licenses, you can sell the yellows back to the game during G&T but I quickly went through my huge stash of them within a very short while! xD

I sort of agree with you, Brooke, but I would add that I have so many friends here that I would miss them.

Every now and then, I get a buzz from something that I am doing: at the moment I am attempting to finish all FSQs. I know it is possible but it will probably take me years! Guilty secret: I spent shed-loads of stock trying to complete lots of the (normally) useless Storehouse FSQs. Originally I was hunting for hidden supplies of PF but then I just got so excited by how many I was finishing. Then I remembered we have the Harvest Event at the end of the month! DOH!

I know I am going to regret it - but I did stop and plan to go back to it after the Harvest Event! I mean, why am I hoarding all this stuff if I'm not going to use it! :music:

I too felt the same as you, Brooke. But like illy said, we have so many friends here (more like a family) adn I have made several alternate goals in the game apart from the event. So it keeps me going.

I started one new farm during last event to have something exciting for few days. Now i have left the farm suspended. I wanted to play the 2 free mini games given for the event. Now one of my goal is to to see how far the farm progresses by taking advantage of the freebies. We had a tough time to level up our farms and reach this level. It took 12 years. So I want to see if it is easy with a new farm to level up using all the new EP givers and the advantages. Something childish. But harmless diverting task. :p I got the Balloon Factory in all my farms. xD:p

I love any breeding events and never thought I could finish all those FSQs but that is what started me on my new project. It was friends like Puppies who made me see that, with good strategies (yet to come to light for me!), these things are possible. As you say, One-Two, it keeps us going. :music:

The flavour of events has worn off and I now miss far more than I ever did but it means I can continue with the never-ending task of finishing FSQs. Again, a change of tack makes the game interesting again. :)

I also feel that the Forum is less busy than in the past - us old hands don't visit as often but there don't seem to be many new players stepping in for a chat. Events like G&T used to bring everybody in but they are poorly attended now. Or is it my imagination? :p

Anyway, Brooke, just wanted you to know that we all feel like you sometimes. ;)

I am in level 73 in this new farm which I started on October 29. I just leveled up 23 levels all at once. The season cup gives crate of EPs and opening it I level up so fast and also the balloon factory gives 15,000 Eps. Satisfying the customers with lettuce and cress is also easy. There is no target for that farm.

I have not opened the baha. But I am in level 15 due to TEPs from satisfying the customers. I am enjoying this unconventional way of playing.

Login when you like, play when you like. No compulsion ot do anything or finsh anything. My new task in Farmerama. This Farm is sort of early human race - Food Gatherer. xD Gather everything. xD

    LOL! One-Two - I like your style! ;)

I know you have other farms but I remember when I opened my second (and third in fact), that was exactly what I intended but they sort of took over so now I just open them, do whatever I feel like, gift and let them stay fallow - unless I like the looks of an event that they can do! :D

Brooke, you seem to have started a little chat here just by saying that nobody comes to the Forum any more! xD

Yes, I abandon them all. I opened them all in response to farmer-broke's event. You have to level up in baha but should not reach level 40 in mainland.

Only during the previous event I logged in to see if I can breed in them. Only in 2 farms I could breed the mammals. Only in my second farm which I started nearly 10 years before and which has just now reached level 90, I was able to breed both mammals & Zombie sheep. I unlocked panda and got 333 pandas from the monkey temple with GBs and bred them. I bought zombie sheeps from the wisdom tree & with BBs from the Halloween calendar and finished that particular breeding.

But this new farm I started it is in level 73 within 14 days. Lucky farm this is. I want this farm to be a lazy rogue farm enjoying all it can take. Doing all sorts of trick to get what it wants. xDxDxD

I think so too. xDxDxD And I like it too. After a long time somewhere to speak about the game and its strategy in a lighter vein.;)

Hey. One-Two, have you checked out David Blyth's tip in "Happy News"? It might be a real money spinner for your new farm. I have tried it and it is really worthwhile. :p

Basically, refine Cress at the highest level (3,500) and you could get 8k of crops back three times. I am on my second go round, I got 8k of Cress, some CCs and a refinement (the one thing that I didn't want!). On the first time of the second go, I got another 8k so I have got the outlay back and anything else is a bonus. :music:
It's great if you don't really want to refine anything. Easier than growing the crops themselves! xD

    Thanks again, David. :)

I am trying it in this farm. But not yet started in the new farm. I will start in soon as soon as I make enough money for the first set of cress.

Actually in this farm I am alternating between cress and crocus refinement. One refinement is eluding me very much.

Brookeham, you are not the only one feels this way i feel the same as miss the good chats, reading postings and getting good advice etc, Also doing events was exciting and fun to do obtain lovely new things but lately it has become dull lack of new things to win or earn:wuerg::wuerg:

I have 1050 Party Tickets plus many many crates unopened too, yes it very annoying and pointless to win all these Yellow Workshops or Yellow Stalls also not easy to win those harvest Boosters if you remember the early years can win 100% or 200% Harvester often on the Wheel, it is well over due to be in need of revamp

I no longer bother with Pick a Stable or Pick a Tree, because there is nothing on offer to win rare stables or Trees that are needed to complete Quests:mad::mad: both of them are needed for revamp or we not bother with them at all, fingers crossed Big Point finally do something about it ;);)

LOL....I guess my whining did start a bit of a chat. :music:
I'm so sorry to be such a "debbie downer"....my hubby was just diagnosed with prostate cancer....and one of my longtime neighbors has an incurable disease.
This game and all of you wonderful friends have been a sanctuary or an escape from RL problems. I truly appreciate your comments and support and replies that I'm not the only one to feel a bit empty in the game sometimes.

Brookeham, so sorry to hear you're going thru such a low, tough time. Please know you are cared for and prayed for, as you are indeed part of my farm family. {{hugs}} I think we've all gone thru bad times both in RL and on our farms, and I would agree it is the family, not the farm necessarily, that keeps us coming back here. I too miss all the fun we used to have, like the chat parties and contests...sure wish that hadn't gone away. But I guess I understand, we all get busy in life and can't spend as much time here as maybe we used to. But I for one am glad you are still here, and there is no need to apologize for feeling down. And really, who among us hasn't whined a time or three? (not that I think you were whining, lol) ;):pxD
