Harvest Crate 1: (66000 BV worth)
Ingredients: 20 x Patty Pan Squashes, 3 x Wooden Crates, 50 x Spelt

Harvest Crate 2: (22000 BV worth)
Ingredients: 5 x Autumn Chestnuts, 2 x Wooden Crates, 3 x Turkeys

Harvest Crate 3: (18000 BV worth)
Ingredients: 20 x Pumpkins, 1 x Wooden Crate, 50 x Corn

I'm in as far as the first part goes then maybe I will mill any excess for the Top 3000 but the amounts will be way beyond my league without completely emptying my Barn - then I probably still wouldn't make it into the Top 3000!
We shall see - maybe I will get multiple harvest boosts from the Wheel - got to be positive!

Thanks for starting the strategy thread. My strategy is to not worry about the top 3000. I just do the event for whatever goodies I can garner.

You may see one or more of my farm names on the top list briefly, but trust me, come the last few minutes, none of my farms will remain on the list.

Well,

- One unnamed country wants to lead again and bring national fame.
- Svecoles from the beginning of the list sells 9999 animals at regular intervals in my market.
- Babari from Finland must have been in the top 1000 every time.
- *WisdomTree* doesn't seem to bother wasting its treasures on such an event.
- I'm not trying to go like top 2000

This is like Finland's public tax information, repeated entertainment for farm people.

 

It has just occurred to me, probably later than everybody else, that, as the drops only come from the event field, it would probably be better to use 1x1s once you can fill a field with them to get the maximum drops.

I haven't poked around on the event field yet. Getting a bit of a late start today. But, it has occured to me, that NOW might be a good time to sell excess colored animals, high value tree fruit, etc. If you want CCs more than you want to be in the top 3000. And considering the sheer amount of donated goods necessary, being happy with a few extra CCs makes a lot of sense.

Has anyone been able to find Keira the Fox on their event playfield?

 

I don't have the fox on my field yet either BUT I also don't have any wooden planks. Maybe we need those before he shows up! Just a guess!

I came here because I couldn't find my fox, but I think all the foxes are on the run.

 

Good one, those foxes are definitely on the run. Hopefully the issue will get fixed soon so we can enjoy the Harvest Festival.

 

My event area:
A lone fox jumps around in a farming area and eats with a good appetite.

 

I have fox wearing red elf hat and jumping on right part of my fields. I had it before I got planks. The fox gave me 3 wooden crates out of 4 planks.

The fox looks happy and sends hearts into the air.

 

I wonder if we have to change the resolution again. Remember there was a previous event where the critters couldn't be fed unless we made the screen smaller?

Made the screen smaller, no fox appeared. I have no foxes to feed.

Okay, upon further investigation I can add the following: All of the farms that I play are on servers #9 and #13. NO foxes appear on ANY of the 7 farms on #9 and/or#13.

I have some fallow farms that are on other servers. I have opened one of them and voila! There's a fox there.

So for mfac: it's in the middle of the field to the right of the tree. ONE fox and it is quite actively jumping around while still staying in a very small general area.

 

To those who see the fox on their event field,
What part of the field is the fox located? Near the edges, in the middle, left side, right side or does it move around like past events?

 

Like many of you, I also have planks but no fox. Hope she shows up soon.

 

Still waiting for a fox on my field too! I finally got 1 plank from this last harvest nothing from the harvest before. They are very scarce on my field! I have harvested 3 times!
