I got quite a few of the lower prizes, 1-10, afew in 11-20 and 1 in the 21-30. I won't extend the time as it isn't worth the prizes. I am currently stuck on level 33 where I have tried twice and just keep getting stuck. Too many colors and boxes, I thought about taking a screen shot next time and then if I loose, study the screen shot. Not sure if I even want to keep trying and may just start filling my barn again.

 

I'm now done with the event....not finished but done.

I stopped on level 32. I extended the time for 31 to try for the tree but extended it at the beginning of the round instead of waiting which meant it didn't do anything Finished the level but unable to do it in time so no tree.

Tried level 32 (also a tree) but didn't have enough boxes to extend the time. Moved too many macarons before I ran into a dead end so the 5 undo didn't help and had to X out of the mini game and got 5 star coins.

Not going to put any more time in. The prizes I was interested in I cannot accomplish the task of moving the macarons within the time allowed. I have enough coins for the CR and givers and going back to normal farming. I'm working on a quest that asks for a lot of short crops (over 100k) so will focus on that.

Good luck to those still working on this event. Congrats to those who got the rewards they wanted. Maybe next birthday party will be better.

 

Yes, I´m same family than "sapeli" and... notised that COLORS are DIFFERENT to every player ! Ouh,my... lord...

My play in this 20 level, light Browns goes lower left corner and dark browns to upper right... try to do same as "sapeli" but it ends "one move away"...

So THIS IN UNFAIR game, you even don´t to change to HELP anybody when colours are different!!!!

 

I was gonna skip this event since I haven't been playing Farmerama the past few weeks and wasn't feeling well anyway, but reading all the negative feedback here about the new mini-game piqued my curiosity so here I am. Activated some buffs earlier and spent several hours producing enough crops & drops for the 40 games and some extra macaron boxes.

I found games 1-30 relatively easy to get through but since my brain wasn't firing on all cylinders today, I kept zoning out and losing valuable seconds, then had to use an extra macaron box to buy myself the few extra seconds I needed towards the end. That's how I ended up wasting a total of 8 extra macaron boxes on the first 30 games to reset the timer. Go me. But for what it's worth, I think getting through games 1-30 in the allotted time (i.e., without resetting the timer) is well within the realm of possibility for me so personally, I'm fine with the amount of time we're given.

Games 31-40, on the other hand, were a different story. I was able to complete 33/36/37 on time but had to reset the timer once for 35/38/39 and abandon the mini-game after getting stuck on 31/32/34/40. I ended up using a total of 17 additional macaron boxes on the last 10 games. I have no idea how much of that was due to the actual difficulty of the mini-game in the last 10 levels and how much of it was due to my own cloudy thinking, though.

All in all, I had a lot of fun with this one. I completed all 40 games and got all the bonus rewards too. I did this event solely because I wanted to know what it would cost me to get the bonus rewards for all 40 levels - couldn't care less about the prizes.

Strategy? What strategy? I just let my intuition guide me. I have zero experience playing puzzle/sorting games so I totally know what I'm doing!

Thanks to ALL, whatever tips you have given, I have applied them and changed them if necessary.

It is DEFINITELY worth taking that print screen, at least on the more difficult fields, you can plan in it and then play forward a few moves and plan again and then make moves in the real game and WOW GREAT:

I've gone from level 29 to level 33, playing each level on the first try, using pictures and thinking ahead.

I got a purchased CR and items for it -> CR RUNNING.

Also I got "green drops" and by growing 1200 plants I get at least 3 failed games at level 33 which gives me a refund of 15 star coins and 29 in total and I get "red probells"

so I've "achieved what I can be happy with" although IT WASN'T EASY AT ALL to be honest "gift event"!

Ouh my.. Could You give those hints from spoilers to level 33 ? Our family we have 3 players and only me playing minigames and now combined 11 re-news and I think I´m re-make my mistakes, not even close to get thru! So picture LVL33 I have but if there is hints like You get levels 31,32,34 and 40, WE are very happy-happy-Joi-Joi ! Could you ?!

Thanks to zerodegrees I have got the Poodle Moth Pen which was really the only thing I wanted from the list of prizes. Just a well and I was hopeless at the game. The cloud row is up and running so I think I am done with this event. A BIG thank-you to zerodegrees.
