this seems like an easy one to calculate the figures... so i'll take a shot at it xD

if you plant the rose first you will need :
820 jackets and 13510 roses to complete the first part up to the cloud row.

if you plant the bamboo first you will need :
820 jackets and 7040 bamboo to complete the first part up to the cloud row.

if of course you wish to continue and do the second part of the event to get more prizes, a second set of givers and the piccolo box, then:

if you planted roses first you will need another : 930 jackets and 7040 bamboo
if you planted bamboo first you will need another : 930 jackets and 13510 roses.

if you see an error in the calculations feel free to add a post below with corrections...we are only human and fallible ;)

Thank you Mcasparky for doing the hard work. ;)

I don't hold out much hope for finishing this one but I will give it my best shot - I have a little green goo and SSG spare as I didn't do the last event and can throw it at the long crop on Comfort Fields and then will see how far I get with the second part - or how much of the green goo and SSG I have left! :music:

I would not be bothering if this was on the main fields as I don't find the prizes that tantalising but I don't do anything exciting on Baha so might as well give it a shot. You never know, I might get something pink or new from those Wonder Stables/Trees!xD
    Good luck all! :)

The usual three "suspects" are participating. The toddler, baby and fallow farms are all sitting it out. If the drop rate is bad, I'll open the fallow farms to send drops to neighbors.

The biggest issue that I can see is the amount of drops (life jackets) needed to complete the whole thing.

Getting to the CR should be a walk in the park. It's getting past the middle more than a step or two that becomes the issue.

With this style of event, I generally do the 8 hour crop first. Reasoning is: #1 - better drop rate from an 8 hour crop. #2 - fewer crops needed to get to the CR.

I prepped the fields on my farms yesterday. Put in saguaro. Saved my CRs that affect drop rate for this morning. So I'm about to commence farming, we'll see how it goes.

Yep! Right ! Need only 500++ crops (shorter 4h version) and have only 515 Life Jackets, Yes I know drop-rates (something), but crops+1 and persentege-prizes are/have more effect when using shorter event-crop first. Waiting those jackets but so many times doing 4/8 hours plants-events, that I have learnt: do only ONE half... No nothing even try to get piccolo! (NOT use translator this time so hope You Imagine/understand even something! :) )

Oh I love this Baha event. Not! As per usual it is a mission getting the drops to complete the first half, let alone the second. I started with 4 hour crops this time where I normally do 8, but my reasoning was a 100% wheel spin and the fact it started later in the week - 8 hour crops for work days and 4 hour ones for weekends. I'm not going to try the second half at all. This harvest I will be finished with the 4 hour crops so will just put in longest crops for the drops, no SG, and be done with it. At least we dont have to do both halves for the CR

Thanks for posting this Strategy Thread, I am doing this event as we not often get Bahamarama Themed Events, also there is hardly any inspiration or motive to grow stuff for quests in those TEP Fields :wuerg:

It make a change to have break using EP Fields for Events ;)

I am just going to get as far as i can with this event as i prefer to do events that does not consume time and clicks doing Mini Games it is more relaxing to do less glitches etc less frustration too :D;):p

I have reached middle point and all will depend if I can get near to passing the mid barrier by the end of the day as to how much more effort I put into finishing. I can buy drops but I won't do that unless I am incredibly close. I only really want the Baha Wonder Trees - I am missing the Raffia Tree and, although I have finished the FSQs needing them, after spending oodles in the Market for them, I would like to have at least one tree. :p
As I said, I never expected to finish so I will definitely finish the first half, my initial target. After that, who knows? xD
Good luck all ye land lubbers! :music:

I reached the halfway point this morning, got the cloud row and had just enough drops left to unlock the second crop (Compose Rose, 4hrs). I'll be away for the last couple of days of the event but even if I wasn't I doubt very much I could get enough drops to finish this event for the Piccolo Box. My current goal is to hopefully get to level 10 just for the 3 boxes of Buffs and the wonder stables but I'll need luck with the wheel I think to achieve even that. My other two farms have only just gotten enough drops to unlock the cloud row so I'll probably stop there.
Good luck everyone, may your drops be plentiful :p

I did the 8hr crop Bottle Bamboo 1st, I have completed that and have CR up and running. I am now growing compass roses, I don't
feel they will be a problem BUT getting 900 drops will be! At night I have switched to lablab bean and got 116 drops this early morning harvest. I think that is low for a 19hr crop and 4 howies on the land! I will continue on, good luck everyone and I hope we all reach our goals!

I also began with the 8 hour crop and with the farmwheel spins, I got some nice bonuses making me done with the crop early yesterday but it was this morning's harvest that gave enough drops to get the CR.

I'm stopping here. My experience with this event mechanic is that it is stressful to do the 2nd half. I've gone back to normal farming to get ready for next Season.

Good luck to everyone still working and Congratulations to those that have already gotten what they aimed for.

I think and hope that above there should be quotes from two other players, let's hope I was successful in my "quotations"...

I´m also in the "middle point", have make so calculations, have 27/900 drops. My "lablabs" in/from small plots and edge-trees get me 101 drops without any howies, it takes9 hours, there is 76 left BUT most-of-the-time there will be EventCrops in the fields BUT:

small however, there is a possibility that when I grow at least 100 more plots (64 middle and 36 small plots) and then 164 small plots with SG, I will get at least the same 24-32 drops from the shortest plant (I did 4h plants first), probably even more. After 3 hours it would be 27+ about 30+ about 30 = about 90 drops, needed 810 more... so 73 hours and 8 times 9 hours lablabs = about 900 drops without SG use to those but earlier than I use SG to LabLabs, it was under 3 hours/set....

Possibly, possibly, without much pressure and coercion, I might be able to get a Piccolo, BUT then it would be a shame if it turns out to be some bad bonus, which I don't want to keep on MG all the time, then it will be wasted. But "I look at that card, and I wonder if I'm lucky, from my neighbors I think I get about 4 drops a day, so another 16 drops...

MAYBE, maybe and one more time maybe... still... :) ;)

Okay, over the hump and just starting the second crop - here goes nothing! :D
I am just hoping for a bit more luck on the Farm Wheel spins - not had any since the event started!

Forgot to say, only need 858 life jackets! :pxD

There's 75 hours left and I have 430 drops... need 800 for the last level at the halfway point and my last harvest gave me 24... not sure it's going to be enough for the cloudrow

still need some event plants as well.

My Finnish Friends "They don't seem to have been popular with "Lady Luck" when they are so far from their goal", especially if there are so many missing Event Plants, it must not have been luck from the Wheel of Fortune..."

(it was difficult for Google translator to produce any text from very basic Finnish, it took a long time to try to get anything like what I meant (above)!)

    edit: 331 / 900 Drops (to 2nd part) and 60 hours left...

Started the event 1 & 1/2 hour back. Planted my 1x1 event crops just now. Need nearly 700 drops to finish the first part. I am doing the event only to get the cloud row. I think I have to use lots of SGs & SSGs to finish the first part. I did not do the last event fully.

All three of my participating farms have the cloud row. Working on the second half. Whatever comes from that is gravy and I'm not worrying about getting to the bitter end.

8 hour crops were definitely the way to go, but to get over the hump, all 3 farms had to purchase 100 drops with BBs. That was even with long overnight crops after I was done growing the 8 hour crop. Not sure that CR was worth the BBs spent, but my FEOCD made me do it.
