Like many of us I am always glad to welcome the Queen to my farm! This year I particularly like (and it may have been there before and I just missed it) the link from the float page to the support quest. The support quest is a wonderful thing all by itself, giving us the ability to get good rewards with less work than if we had to mill all the baskets ourselves. I know there is always comparison to the very first visit by the Queen, but if you disregard that incredible experience, the Queen is a wonderful returning visitor who pretty much can't be beat.

I have noticed that the Queen is throwing a lot less power feed and supergro and a lot more candy, so clearly something has changed. I do agree that the support quest is good and the main prizes aren't bad but don't think we don't notice that the Queen's loot has gotten cheaper.

There seems to be a trend in all events. Each iteration of an event asks for more from us and gives less. The Carnival Queen is following in this trend. I am sad. This is a reason why I am not completing so many events in the game.

I thought it was just me, not being able to see the items tossed and missing most of the good stuff!

I missed the first Carnival Queen but I read about how generous she was ... on holiday with a tablet which I could never have done this event on!
But I do agree that she is being extremely stingy with the good goodies, especially PF! -.-

I do like this event because we can choose how we play it but, of course, it makes sense to do the Support Quest and then carry on if we want by milling our own Floral Baskets. No milling necessary is another bonus.:)

The most important thing that persuaded me to participate is that it is all on Bahamarama which doesn't get enough dedicated events in my opinion. I have things I want to do on the main farm so if an event is not particularly interesting, I will probably opt out whereas on Baha, I am not working on anything there, just accumulating crops and critters. :music::inlove:
Prizes are okay but more of the golden things (PF and SG) and less of the sweet stuff from Queenie would be much appreciated. :p

I am not surprised with events getting less rewarding, events such as carnival queen comes back it becomes less generous than previous event >:(

Also it hardly gives us Crate rewards, with BEP is not really helpful as there are not rewarding rewards when levelling up Baha take into consideration it takes ages to level up Main Farm :wuerg:

I can get more SG, Super Mulch and Suzy Super using my Jumbo Trees, using Buffs i can gain far more BEP and EP plus using my CR too gain more CC selling stuff in the Markets Growing stuff in Main Farms to sell o_O

I am seriously thinking of skipping this event completely i am not the only one feels like this so does all my lovely farmerama friends and neighbours too:music:

like i have said in the past why do i bother posting here cos i know Bigpoint not paying attention to our feedbacks to make farmerama more better and enjoyable to keep playing

They are all 1x1 items - if you haven't got anything of this size, buy Water Towers from the shop, they cost 250 CCs each and it will be the cheapest way (2,250 CCs) to fill the CR. ;)

I easily finished the event. I did the support quest so no milling which was a plus. I also noticed a lot less goodies like PF and SG and more candy-not happy about that. Great it was on BAHA so I didn't have to change anything on the main farm. The rewards were good but I liked the first Carnival Queen which had more goodies and a lot less candy.

I know the first Carnival Queen was absurdly generous, to the point that people who missed it felt like they'd really missed out, but this feels like it's gone too far in the other direction and is not that interesting.
It would be really nice to include an in-game shop where you could exchange candy for other good prizes. That way the endless candy would feel like less of a disappointment. After all, it's not like we can eat it!

In first time Carnival Queen, I get over 1300 SG and some 500++ both SSG and PF... Now we have 1 SG at a time, then it was 5 SG when you get 1 to the basket... 2 times SSG (if I remembered not wrong) but "only" 1 PF :)

Now 118 games... and going on, without using nothing else than water and manure (from manure crates)... It is 3.52 local time and now back to bed... when re-new those event plants...

Thats a great idea, Shimmer! I finished this event using support quest, and then I milled a few baskets using leftover crops and drops. It was an enjoyable event, even though the carnival queen was stingy with the goodies.

Carnival Queen done and dusted for another year. The support quest was a good idea and also earned some extra goodies. I played on all of my three farms a total of 108, 107 and 111 games without much effort. I know everyone complains that the Queen isn't as generous as the first couple of times she came but I also remember in those early events (I think it was the first two) that you had to earn the right to visit the carnival (much the same as the Harvest / Top Players event) and that was no easy feat in itself.

My farms did pretty well this time around:
    PF - 99, 106 and 102 DP - 80, 57 and 56
    SG - 222, 219 and 199 FC - 242, 212 and 206
    SSG - 135, 155 and 133 GB - 24, 28 and 39
TM - 210 (only started to keep track halfway through), 423 and 372
    Crates - 21, 26 and 39

So overall still a way better haul than what we'd get from normal events but I do think she could have been a little bit more generous with the crates. I also realised that for each FC you caught you actually got two (nice) and for each TM you got three (blah). Not sure about other players but while I do use the TM I don't use that much of it and have well over 10,000 in each of my barns. I'd much prefer to get say two SG or SSG rather than three TM any day. And I really like Shimmer's idea about a shop for lollies, lower-level players could still get the EP, TEP and CCs if they prefer but most higher-level players don't really care about those things anymore.

    Overall, a lovely event.

    Happy Farming

I am always a fan of this event...however, the resources required were very high. I feel that BP needs to do a lot more to keep the players that they have. Every event is harder and harder to achieve. I feel like I am a money grab...nope.
