The numbers seems real high for the bahamarama plantation, I do not like the 560+ drops from that 1 field in particular. I'll shove some long time crops in baha land plots and see where that leads me tomorrow... That pause of 2 weeks inbetween the other weekend event is weird, absurd and distasteful.

I see that we have a weekend off between quest weekends...interesting concept. Much appreciated by this farmer.

Funny how differently we see things, Northy! I saw that CR and went "woohoo!" - I use one of those 100% EP/TEP boosters almost every day, so getting an additional one every other day is a huge win in my book.

I'm in on all the usual farms.

 

My mistake, I tought it was that 100% EP/TEP booster for givers, so many cloudrows are handing them out that I get 5 of them on a 2 day period. It's like that dreaded (to stay polite) 3h seeder on the spinning wheel.... The EP/TEP boosters are fine, but at some point they're too much. I have over 500 200% EP/TEP boosters that I got from some events and when I open Crates O'Manure, I use one everyday (unless MM is opened, then I use the terror bouquets) but seriously, they last 24h so I have over 500 days worth in inventory and cannot do a single thing with that! It was possible to just go the warehouse, active a bunch of them, open up the buffer section, press the x to trash them, etc but for some reason now, if you activate say 2 boosters, if you trash them you'll get the second one back in stock (I just want to get rid of all those healty treats!!!).

Now that the givers are handing out evenmore goodies, I'll do the event to get them, not for a 33h cloudrow.

 

That's why I like the 100% boosters - I almost always have an open silver slot for one of those.

I don't know what to do with healthy treats, either. And I don't use the MM boosters that use buff slots either - the ones that are diamond slot buffs that increase harvests on MM fields only are a waste if you're doing the whole farm and the other ones use gold slots and just increase EP on MM fields - and that's a complete waste of a slot no matter how you look at it.

I'm in - as long as I can keep all these plates spinning throughout the weekend!

There are many buffs that I don't use cos they take the same slot as something I regularly use. I just leave them there, collecting dust or handing them out to neighbours when there are no events (so never then!).

I wasted SG and SSG to only find out that the giver items have been reduced to this. Count me out of the event then

 

Same for me, decided to go for it even on my baby farm, spent over 300 SG and SSG only to find out that BP decided to make this a crappy event after all.

 

Went all out on one farm. I'm so glad I didn't waste much on the other three. So disappointed.

While not what I'd call suitable compensation, don't forget to collect it anyway.

 

I thought it was unusual for the weekend quest to carry through to the Monday.

Having said that, the FAQs still say 3 July ... confusing.

 

I'd put my money on a new team behind all the latest quirks: 2 events being delayed, mutliple errors in FAQs... Yeah 3 July is mentioned 5 times in the FAQ still...

 

The FAQ has been updated to reflect the end time of 2nd July at 22:00.

Thank You Farmers.Almanac, I for one understand you also have a real life to deal with, thank you for all your time and efforts (all the mods) I will continue on with this event and do the best I can. Hopefully the NEXT event will run better and smoother!

 

Any suggestions on how to get more snorkels if one does not spend real money? I completed steps 1 & 2 and have 13 of 29 swimsuits milled. Just not getting enough drops/snorkels. My current crop of event crops won't be ready for 4+ hrs, and there are 27 hrs remaining. I think I could complete the event if there was more time, but don't have experience to know the best way to use the remaining time. Thanks for any suggestions.

Can I get the CR which does not seem to need event givers if I don't complete all three events?

 

IDK. You may need the flowers from step 2 in order to do the next weekend quest. Check what is given to see if it is needed later.

 

Thank you! Must be age or the heat, but I didn't think to do that and didn't make the connection that the flyers from this week's step 3 are the drop item for the next event.

I have all the flowers from this week's step 2, so will hopefully come up with a better strategy to get all needed flyers/drops next time.

Another question: Can I put the Magic Tree on Baha Plantation and get Baha event drops? It's now in the Park and gives employee badges. I've never thought to move it elsewhere!

Just reread the FAQ and it mentions the Magic Tree won't give drops during this event.
