I am struggling with the memory bit. Don't have a phone for a photo. I make a small grid and try and write each cake but am having to use the booster, and even then it is very tight. I don't remember BP being so stingy last time. They should get all their families, including Grandparents like me, to trouble shoot their games. I get the impression they are aimed at youngsters who are used to playing games fast. I thought this was a farming game, not a Grand Prix. Good luck everyone. At least I won 100% harvest and a plus 1 this morning so crops won't be a problem. Tree will go out again in a couple of days to increase the booster.

If you have them, use the cake boosts.

And use a pen and paper. I write the cakes in code: First column is C for chocolate, Second is W for white, Third is P for Pink, Fourth is G for gold, and the Fifth column is weird: R for the top, B for the middle and R for the bottom (red, blue, red).

So on my paper the column for the order of 3 cakes might look like this:

R W P
C W B
R W C

That means the customer wants the 1st cake Red top, chocolate icing, red cake; 2nd cake white top, white icing, white cake; 3rd cake pink top, blue icing, chocolate cake.

Now the hard part is to remember that you fulfill the order from the BOTTOM up - so it's Red cake first, Chocolate icing second, Red top 3rd, then onto the second cake.

I've tried writing down in opposite order, but I just get even more confused.

 

The drop rate for this is awful. I have lots of crops grown and no boxes. Who's bright decision was it to only get drops from one field.

Not impressed by this event. Drops are worse than the baha events.

No wonder this bakery needs help. It should be shut down for mismanagement

 

My strategy for this Event is to abort it resume to normal Farming due to awful worse drops event to date

SL's farm has over 8000 remaining crops. No cake boxes. Have stopped growing the event crop and am now growing long timed crops in the hope of getting more boxes. I am so glad I didn't even start this event on this farm or PM23's!

 

Can anyone give me some advises how to get a better drop. My drops so low, I don't think I can even reach half of this event.

 

I started event growing event plant in both fields, but now I've been growing long/mid-long plants on main farm and event plant just on Green Meadow during day and night.
I got new Magic Tree from my piccolo-box, it helps with other magic trees giving pink boxes. I do not have forest of Magic trees yet, but perhaps some day. It is a bit strange how we get drops, I just got 2 pink boxes from my main field from wheat with one Howie before I planted long crop for night.

 

Do you have instant crops?

 

I still not convinced that growing overnight crops will reap you at least 170 plus pink boxes per over night harvest on the main field

Even those who have Instant Drop crops feature whom are prepared to consume fair amount of Super Grow (Instant 44 Fields of Comfort Fields only reap you 44 Pink Boxes Therefore any remaining Pink Boxes needed exchange 1 SG from Barn Stock)

Those growing overnight Crops on main field using 202 (1x1), Be prepared to used 202 or 404 SG or 606 SG if you over night crops comes short

 

So sorry to read all the struggle with drops. I'm thankful I skipped the event as I don't have the mental energy to be challenged to worry about crops and drops. I have a surplus of SG, as well as refinements that will shorten a long grow crop or even instant carnations so under normal circumstances, I would be able to do this, but current circumstances being what they are, just needed to grow what fit my own health schedule.

I just looked in my barn...I have 990 pink boxes and had at least 1 day I didn't farm at all. I definitely would have needed a drop strategy.

For those struggling with drops, there are places in the forum that have many suggestions on how to improve them:

Trophies
Howie Donuts (if you have them)
Refinements
Buffs that lower crop categories (4% and 6% and use silver buff slots) to help reduce long overnight crops besides water/manure
Open crates you may have been saving (for SG, SSG, CAC..)
Spin that wheel! (SG, SSG, etc)

I keep my SG and SSG Jumbo trees out ALL the time and that helps build up my stock

There may be other ideas but that's all I can think of for now. Good luck to you all who are still working on the event. Don't give up!

For the rest of us skipping the event, there is another one soon to follow....

 

I have been growing refined Raspberries with just water and manure - 2 harvests a day and the last harvest gave 129 pink boxes. Hopefully, with real life interfering with my play - haha - I should get enough but whether I will have time to do the last Cakes only time will tell. Then I must remember to spend my coins.

 

Growing refined carnations on a field of 1x2s gave me 102 pink boxes. I don't have instant carnations but can achieve 35 mins growing time with SG + crafts. That has boosted my drops and have reached the cloud row only to find that I need to finish to get the last giver for that

Edit: a full field of o/night carnations on 1x1s (no SG) yielded 160 pink boxes.

 

My instant crops wont cut it this event Wisdom, as I've only got as far as instant roses and not unlimited SG. Should work on a longer instant crop but how does one grow crops when there are back to back events? I've resorted to event crop on Green meadow only (coz there are no drops) and overnights on main farm and its still rubbish. Have 4000 crops and 0 boxes at the moment.
I'm also aborting this event.

 

I have milled 31 games, have 12540 crops but no drops... how to get drops even that 54 games (yes, using roses to "instant" and hudreds on SG but but "ehat SG"...) On of this type of events that no change to get both crops and drops same time... And Yes, 2 nights i had Alpine Easter (to serie) and get 130++ drops but still too way short (sorry my english). Boring to have all the crops... and still not sure to even get 1 piccolo (and nothing more!)

edit: 69 of those time-boosters but if don´t have 69 other drops to games, at least 69 games...

 

I'm sorry, what is "instant crops" ?

 

Easiest to get - rose - go to the greenhouse, make 4 bonuses to "rose":

Water love (+6% water effect)
SG Love (+20% increae of SG is that what needed instat roses 2 other bonuses also in same)
Early Bloomer (-7,5% groving time)
Duo Fertilizer love (+9 effect groving time AND +20% effect to manure)
KEEP all of these, if not get, try again.

Then You need:
"Harvest Festifal 2014" called CR (+5% effect to SG) AND / OR
"Pharaos Herbs Magic Stalk Row" CR (+5% effect to SG)

And use in "gold Place" in effect row BOTH:
"Fruit cake" (+5% effect to SG) and
"White Innosence" (+10% effect to SG)

and WOW WOW WOW: with Comfort Field ALSO (better % to drops) and use ROSE --> time to get ready is 0 seconds!

Usually (not trying this event yet) if drop rate is total poor: 1 You get drop / each field.
Use it 500 times, get 500 drops...

Yes takes some roses to get those Greenhouse bonuses BUT You also many times 10000 roses back if You use this bonus, I think the minimum number is 17 / field.

Then You have lot of roses to use "ready to recycle" or other events where donate crops!

...and those drops...

This is of cource in use FARM FIELD DROPS only, not Bahamarama events!

edit: and if You have all those bonuses, no need water, no need manure to use!

but but... those CR´s are available on every 96 hours and 6 hours at a time = ones with one event... so use it that time A LOT !

 

Finally Finished this event Got the Cloud Row and Givers also 2 x Piccolo Boxes

I changed my Strategy Put out my Super Trees, use 100% Tree Buffs and Won 100% Harvester stocked up 400 Super Grow, I used Pinkie Pie Pie so All Super Trees/Suzy Super/Jumbo Trees will be stocked up for next tough event

I used Crocus Refinements gain some stocks of Oak Seedings as the remaining pink boxes , there are 10 Refinement Crops that gives you SG Love gives 25% effective SuperGrow, I used just White Innocent as i used both SG 5% Cloud Rows Because I had 100% Tree Booster in Gold Slot

Now All Fields is covered in Trees, This is my strategy to take advantage of Buffs i have running not need to grow any event crops
