Day at the Beach

The event is composed of 3 progress bars:

left side progress bar: asks for bahamarama crops to boost its bonus for power feeds up to +4 per step on the main progress bar

right side progress bar: asks for bahamarama tree fruits too boost its bonus for farm coins up to +7 per step on the main progress bar

The side bars should be maxed out before starting the main progress bar

main progress bar:

event crop: Dumbell Bamboo 5h on Main land and Magical Glade only
event drop: Ice Box from crops and trees on Main land and Magical Glade only

To get the Cloudrow (penultimate step of the main progress bar):

Total Dumbell Bamboos: 20800
Total Ice Boxes: 1470

To get the Piccolo Box on last step of the main progress bar: another 1000 Dumbell Bamboos needed

Grand total: 21800 Dumbell Bamboos + 1470 Ice Boxes

Cloudrow gives out 1000 x baha lvl TEP + 1000 x Main lvl EP + 120% extra EP/TEP from stalls for 6h - Cooldown time 40h

Observations: the left side progress bar will reward a charged (+) version of the 48h giver called Muscle Beach which will give +2 power feeds 5 times.

This morning there was a mention about some new component (Alp quests system) that'd be added to Edelweiss Valley but it has dissapeared now from the Event FAQ's but can still be seen in the "Postponement to Events" in the Official Announcements section of the forum.

Edit: found the announcement about EV in the "The Village Square" Game FAQ section.

 

thank you for starting the thread im glad you did it because i came up with a total of 21,800 plants and 1,470 drops

 

Well you were right, I forgot to add 2 steps in the total. 21800 event crops is quite high with the second land being the Magical Glade! The 5h may explain that, but still... Same with drops, 1470 is high if we look at the 1600+ that were needed for the cake event.

This is an even bigger "no no" event to me!

 

yea and i dont think the CR is that great for such high requirements

 

Thanks Northy for the numbers. Daunting, but I might give it a go in my usual slowpoke manner. I won't send any critters to the barn and have few plots on main and meadow fields, but will see how far I get. At least this does not need any exertion of my brain - you already did the hard work!

 

Oh no, it is Magical glade, not Green meadows! I have glade filled with Jumbos, trees and menageries. Ice stag does not last till start of event, so I must harvest trees before that so I won't get much drops.

 

Thanks Northy, for starting the thread and number crunching! I will do this event as I skipped the Cake one and 2 fields to get the crops grown and 2 fields to get the drops is better odds and here's hoping the drop rate is good! Good luck to those who chose to do this event!

 

I'm VERY SKEPTICAL about Magic Glade being the second field area for the event...

Because - many times I've emptied it of jumbo trees if the trees weren't promised to grow and put in long overnight plants, only to notice that the field areas in the event are more "traditional" Main and Green areas.

It remains to be seen how it will be now, but hopefully I will put the MG full of Amaranth and leave my 22 jumbo tree there...

 

Thank you - I had not noticed that and my Glade is full of critters with trees tucked here and there. Well, I'll just see how it goes with one field of crops.

 

Oh no! I put the long crops in on the wrong field!?!?!?! I do NOT want to rip up my magical glades!

Phooey. I'm still in on the usual three farms, but now I have to move a bunch of stuff. Gotta go unplug my phone from the stereo in the sewingroom...I'm going to have to take pictures and write stuff down.

 

Lol Dumbunny you always make me smile! I also have a lot of my trees and Newer Pens on Magical Glade because of the free water on that land BUT I also removed them all but 3 jumbo trees and hope to get my crops grown fast, fast so I can put that land back! I will not be growing any crops for this one, too many required and I don't want to clear my Magical Glade again. I am not that interested in the prizes - CR is not that great IMO.
I will, however, do the left and right side on all three farms.

Oh my god is there an event today? Well I'm undecided what to do now.

 

Finished all I intend to do on this one. Both sides completed. No crops being grown.

So tired and now multiple days of multiple symptoms that mean I don't focus well, don't remember well, don't process information well so I prepared my fields for the event as I normally do and began planting crops...then came to the forum to reread the FAQ

I've been well trained for events

 

There are 5 hours until I have long-term plants, I haven't started planting the activity plants yet, there is a very busy agenda in the farm, take it easy everyone.

 

My farms are about half way through - wheel bonuses helped and plant buffs activated. I can already tell that I'm going to run short on drops and I'll have to switch to longer timed crops once the event crops are all grown.

 

Plants are ok. Waiting for drops...
