Thank you *WisdomTree* for starting this tread and doing the numbers! I was about to say that I'd skip this event alltogther and then I went and checked what was a Crate O'Kung Fu Tiger... a chance to win a Piccolo Box.... Now I have to do it! *sigh*

This morning I've rearanged my givers' parks and put out 21 Piccolo Boxes. I hope they'll be generous this time around!

I'm not sure how many of my farms besides sewinglady's will be doing this event. In the past, I have done these particular type of events on the baby farms as well as the usual 3 farms, but this is a particularly busy week for me, so I am thinking that I will only be doing this event on the usual 3 and skipping baby farm participation.

I see that ctindaldavies has asked a question in the general issues section about where the drops will fall. Just in case, I think I'm putting long crops in all the possibilities.

 

im thinking about sitting this out i have the CR where i get 3 crate O'Kung Fu Tiger and i havent gotten anything special from them in the whole time ive had them

 

Sorry to hear that, I myself got 1 Piccolo Box from opening that crate, so there's still hope yet!

 

Save them up until you have around 100 and then open them. I find that if I do that the chance of getting at least one rare item increases greatly.

I chuckled when you mention drops...if it's like where I am, then it's a desert and my drop rate would be nil! Here in the back of the bayou, rain has become the thing of myths! Not that we're complaining, given all the floods and storms we had in years past.

I'm skipping the event - not one of my favorites. I've also not had much luck with Kung Fu Tiger crates and alas, I'm impatient enough that I just can't bring myself to hold on to them and open lots at the same time.

 

Same here, patience is not a word that is often in my vocabulary. I can manage to save up crates, mystery trees, stables, etc. only because I have a very short memory, so once it goes in my barn, I most often forget about it until I go to open other crates.

Don't forget to use up season coins, season ends in 1 day! Perfect time to get a little +1 boost for harvesting.

 

Guite nice this time to me, sorry about those players who not so lucky felings !

Now 7616 crops and 629 drops, so this time drops "to finnish" before crops, even used 2 times Jack O Gift. Make 5+50 kenaf´s by SG and others only water and those I have about 4000. Somehow saved over 2200 PF so under 116 to wake-ups is guite small amount of PF to use. Get that 1 piccolo guite easy so happy happy happy now!

 

Well, I am surprised to say this... I'm finished. The drops from the Green meadow were good, longer flowers and 5 howies, and I had 2 x Jack o gifts that I used for the first 48 hours and scored a 100% harvest off the wheel. For the first time in forever it just fell into place.
Now to do some normal farming for a very pleasant change.

I'm done too! Drops were a bit harder to get by since my Green Meadow is where I keep my stalls and trees so they were scarse, but still managed to get them. Was lucky to get to get 5 x +1 crop for 6h and 100% on the wheel combined with a Jack O'Gift crops were easy to come by after nuking everything with super grow! Now, why are we gifted 2 of each giver for the cloudrow? My baby farm cannot do this event because I do not have the mango tree opened yet nor the rainforest...

 

Sewinglady's farm finished late yesterday afternoon. This farm and PM23's are on track to finish today.

This is one of those events that you have to start right away - can't save it all for the last few minutes - kind of a hurry up and wait thing.

 

Wow, I thought I was going pretty fast - though I did stop feeding my plants with SG after the first day or so.
Just waiting for my last four plots to be ready - due to a miscalculation, no change there then!

Drops were good enough to keep up with crops though I still get confused which pattern I am supposed to follow and therefore paid in more mangoes than necessary!

Would anybody be able to trade with me next Gift&Trade? I will need Thirsty Flowers and A Snake Nemesis, have other 2 plus CR. Been busy with my son coming Tuesday and not much time to harvest.
