"Summer Games" Weekend Quests

I managed to get an initial planting in very quickly at 6 a.m. before heading down to the market.

We had a very eventful RL farmer's market...there was a large police presence for hours. Heavy sigh.

Anyway, first harvest in, now I'm trying to make up for lost time.

 

Managed to get enough crops/drops for tasks 1 & 2 of the second weekend's event, but task 3 needs 62 more drops to complete first level. I seem to be averaging about the same drop rate as the first weekend. Did the longest grow crop in time to harvest my Saturday morning, then only event crops. I only have water and fertilizer since yesterday as I'm also doing the beach event. All things considered, I'm happy with my progress since I'm still relatively new to the game and don't spend real cash for baskets, etc. Again, appreciate all the suggestions here from other players. Wishing everyone success or at least satisfaction with progress.

Update: 1 hr to go. I harvested enough crops yesterday for task 3, then planted my longest long grow, saguaro, and harvested this morning with enough drops to complete steps 1 & 2, but need 87 drops for final step. Did slightly better than first weekend.

Dumbunny, don't know where you're located or what happened, but sorry for the stress you and others surely experienced yesterday. Hopefully no one was injured and things remained calm. Glad to see you here again.

 

As always, plants are ready, total ready but... those drops... BUT now over night Lablab beans 9h35min and missing only 73 drops so maybe not needed to do anything tomorrow (to do some ddrops I mean). That TEP-machine, so sad, only 5 times Fertibox3 not unlimited...

 

This farm was short drops, too, NJ2210! I also put in lablab beans overnight and voila! Got the whole thing done first thing this morning.

All participating farms (the usual 3 suspects) have completed this event.

 

For me was the same: only this morning I got enough drops to finish. Used bitter ginger, that I use a lot.

 

Same for me, got the last drop from Hoya this morning and finished the event. I'm so glad we didn't need to mill things this weekend!

 

Just a reminder: 3278 Surfoards Shoots (event crops), 567 Paddles (drops) and milling of 34 Surfboards are needed to complete the third and last leg of the summer's weekend events.

 

Can we get the CR by completing only the first step of each task? I think so, but want to confirm. If so, then I'll focus on that as so many drops are needed for the surfboards.

Update Sunday: Thanks for confirming about the CR. I focused on doing the first step of each task and finished this morning to get the CR. With leftover crops and paddles I completed remaining steps for lvl 1&2 and got those rewards.
I did not complete the last two steps of lvl 3, but I'm happy with results and rewards.
Field is once again set up for normal farming.

 

Yes, that's possible. The majority of drops are for milling the 34 surfboards tho. Good luck everyone for that last leg of the event!

I have the CR and finished all but the last two parts of level 3, sadly lacking in drops - if I get fairly close, I might buy the extra ones needed but if not, I'm not that bothered about the remaining prizes to spend too much.

 

i did the first part, worked on 2nd part but did not finish it, also lost motivation with this event with lots on my mind partly with my ex her friends i live in Deaf Community as i am in London for two weeks seeing friends and family

plus is was my 57th Birthday two days ago on 29th July

Not like this event because it is too stressful try to stay focus to enjoy this event i stay focus on the other event it is more rewarding kind of event anyway

This event was really weird and confusing for me - the start times, the skipping every other weekend. Ugh.

 

I wasn't able to finish ANY of the 3 summer events. Oh well. I need to not do any of these events.
