Thanks for doing the sums again *WisdomTree*.

I am not really wowed by the prizes so will sit this one out, I am enjoying filling my farm with animals for a change and building up my stocks of critters.

Nope. After the abject failure of the currently running event, I am out. I was not able to harvest often enough to get as far as I would have liked - I'm just too busy with RL. So I'm going to sit this event out.

 

The FAQ has an error. It says the special crop is "Plantable on the Green Meadow and Green Meadow only!"

 

I can count on one hand the number of events I have voluntarily sat out since I began playing 12 years ago, not counting times we were gone on vacation. Seriously considering sitting this one out, tho, haven't decided yet. Agreed, bunny, disappointed with current event as well, which definitely is part of my considerations for this one. As I doubt I will have time to grow enough crops - 31 k, really? - I think I may do just enough to cherry pick the prizes I like (wonder stable and tree, some of the crates), then fill my fields with animals, like illy.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention, rivak. Even so, going to stick to my current plan for now, that's just too many crops.

 

Thanks you *WisdomTree* for the numbers. Numbers are way too high for the quality of rewards offered, that's a dead given. With the cheaper routes shown in the economy version 2, it would seem possible to do tho. 1 crate o'goofy animals is a level 3 breeding one, crate o'wonderful animals offers 4 animals (it's like harvesting a neon stall) and the crate o'animal feed IV offers 1 feed of special animals in baha/main/MM. All that each day, that would be 365 level 3 breeding animals free per year and 1460 free base animals, that ain't bad in my book. The givers are quite decent on their own too. Although a second set would be hard to come by. I'll see whee I stand on it tomorrow morning, playing this event would mean riping out my Green Meadow again...

The cloud is good and the shop is even better, so i'll give this one a go. Missed only the piccolo. Hating myself for loosing those two of the last event, but bad decisons are part of life, aren't they?

Thank you WisdomTree for the post and for the detailed number crunching! I am hoping we get to plant on 2 lands to get all the required event crops...fingers crossed! I am going to give this event a go and see how far I can get! I like connecting the pipes even if the prizes are not that great! Good luck everyone and I hope we can reach our goals!

 

I'm going to pass on this event. I wasn't sure what I'd do, and then got a call that means I'll be out of town doing emergency family stuff for three days. There is no way I can grow enough crops in 4 days to make even the economy version work.

If nothing else, I can keep growing animal food crops, working on the Borsty Towers FSQ and raising animals galore for a while.

 

I shall skip the event. I prefer a slower paced event when I do them. For the foreseeable future, I'm only doing quests and Season.

Also skipping this event. Events are just too time-consuming now. I'll do some of the breeding ones.

 

I do think that to get the CR and givers we need to get 152 "star coins!" BUT to get the star coins, we need to do the 1st 10 levels and then start over and do another 6, so a total of 16 times! and needing over 31,000 crops is just getting nearly next to impossible to do! I really hope BP stops with this foolishness and just lets us play a FUN game again! I have started this event and will continue but I too wish I had sat this one out!

 

just traced the paterns of economy 2 to see and there's some mistakes in the tally : step 7 lists a need for 8 straight pipes and 10 bent pipes but the numbers should be 10 straight 10 bent. Same with step 9, list is 16 of both pipes when the numbers should be 17 straight 16 bent. In step 10 I was able to lower the number of pipes to 15 straight and 12 bent by going through the star prize and super grow instead of the crate o'buff and party ticket prizes.

To get to the 152 star coins (10 levels + 6 levels a second time) makes it to 194 strait pipes (10670 event crops + 582 drops), 158 curved pipes (11218 event crops + 474 drops) for a grand total of 21888 pipe bamboos + 1056 wrenches.

 

Okay, I prepped sewinglady's farm for this event (put in amaranth overnight). But, I still don't think I have the time or the inclination to fool with this one even on one farm.

Northy's right - that CR is nice. Not necessarily spectacular, but nice, indeed.

Tossing the coin, do it or don't? I have to make up my mind in the next few minutes... Ugh.

I'm done, cloudrow up and running. I still have about 22k of event crops, just missing the drops! Put back up my "normal" farm and will cross my fingers that I'll have enough drops like that to complete it and get the second set of givers for my baby farm! YAY! This will be a good cloudrow to have there as well.

Sewinglady's farm got a 200% wheel bonus yesterday morning, so that farm has the cloud row, about 10,000 excess crops and is out of drops as well. Will put longer crops in and play off the last of the crops later for more goodies.

 

14 levels played, drops needed, 14000++ crops to use (helped with one "+200% all 24h" -bonus and 2+2+3 jacks (I have 3 of those)), lot of time, boring to wait
