I think the requirements for the animals are far too high for the length of the event. 300 Ladybirds and 300 spiders (which are not stables that everyone has or can get, since they are rare ones. There are obviously not many around, I managed to purchase a few, but the cost was astronomical (500k each) Also, had enough elephants, spider and ladybirds to complete first section.

I'm lucky, I've been a player long enough to have lots of cash and lots of tools, and because I don't tend to sell animals, they've built up over the years, and I have spiders and ladybird stables. However, one has to question which bright spark tech or event planner thought that 300 each of animals only some players can produce or get due to non-availability or cost.

I shall go as far as I can with the crops, but frankly this event is not really worth the effort or time involved.

 

Lucky me, have all animals but not ladybugs, but 4 stalls to ladybugs so use (not another use) "+100% stalls" animal bonus and my 2 Mighty Movers, then I get 4 of all 4 so 16 at the time and BF+water 2h42min -> get from the market 230 ladybugs "almost free" under 200000 of piece and 6 times 16 = 96 per daytime (under 15 hours) -> ladybugs handled too.

 

This event is a no go for me. The requirements are too high as far as the animals go. I haven't even checked out the prizes. I'm not liking this new trend of having to repeat steps in order to complete the event.

I will, however, take advantage of the event field and grow the crops for the extra EP!

As usual, I skimmed the FAQs and first post here and completely missed that we could keep donating on the last step - I thought there was a glich! Don't know how many times I lost stuff or indeed what I lost/gained by doing it!
Oh, well. C'est la vie. I will be absent for a while during this event so will do what I can and not sweat it!

 

Actually, I'm thinking of pulling out. I've just gotten home from work, the event has been running 24 hours and I have just managed my stage 1 dontation of the event crop. But thats not the full reason....

Look at the repeating level on each tier... You cant do 2, 3 or 4 without doing ALL of them. I dont want to do Building 2 repeatedly because I don't have the extra ladybugs to commit to it and face it - who wants 6 Farm coins and 0 gear coins? BUT, if you want to do Building 3 again ( for 39 gear coins) , you MUST do Building 2, to get the Tree logs, and to do Building 4 (64 gear coins) you MUST do Building 3 for the required Mast.

If it was a case of running through it all just the once and getting the cloud row etc I might consider it. But this is the 2nd event where they are forcing you to repeat stages to get what you need.

I will be plodding along with it while I think about it. Frankly I dont expect to be able to finish as I just cannot harvest for most of the day and could possibly struggle getting the full 300 ladybugs (I've got 132 to go LOL)

 

As ctindaldavies and others, I don't understand why we need to go through the last step a second time, just add another step and let us be done with it. I did the second building 6 times already, so now I know that I'm done with that one. The trickiest for me is building 1 because we can forget on what step we're working, there's no identication of it! I decided to just keep looking at the bottom of the event screen until I reach the 27 sailcloths needed to finish the event and then I'll jump to building 3 and continue one.

This is a great cloudrow, getting a +1 from all factories is tremendous every 40h (so every 2 days for normal people who sleep)! This will impact also the manufactory buildings so that's why they make us work for it. I think this is the second cloudrow that does that + there's the giver Egg-static Easter Bunny Lodge that does the same thing. This kind of cloudrow hasn't been offered for animal stalls or even crops, that'd be too powerfull from BP standpoint (there's clodrows that give +1 for flowers and veggies but nothing that affects all seeds). That's why numbers and requirements are high, at least that's my point of view.

 

The other row, which gives +1 for workshops is quicker, every 20 hours.
There is +1 for stalls cloud row, but is available every 333 hours.
Raccoon and Anaconda have cloud rows giving +1 also.

 

Yes, but they're specific to 1 thing. Besides the Neon Butterfly giver that gives +1 animal every 72h, I don't see a cloudrow that affects all animal or all crops (imagine getting a +1 on event crops even for 1h... )...

Well we are 48 hours in and I am just smashing this event. NOT! I still dont have enough cypress trees to donate to stage 2 of Building 1. I totally rely on help to finish events, but this has me stumped. I get up at 6am, harvest, out the door at 8am. Tried to harvest on the go today, yet it doesnt load. Its not my phone because its worked just fine in the past - it logged me in, sort of, popped up the privacy rubbish, logged me out, back to the game, privacy pop up again, sign in, privacy pop up, then hung on the insulting loading screen for over an hour before I swore at BP and turned it off. Got home at 8.30pm and just harvested for the second time today. I will be fast asleep in the next hour or so. Rinse and repeat tomorrow.

I rarely spend on the game anymore so might just look at what it takes to buy some help.

 

I got frustrated over the masts (far right building) and bought a basket for SL's farm. Have the CR up and running. Still growing the event crop. I want a few goodies from the coin shop. Usually, a player can do these event field extravaganzas without spending RL money. Not this one, well, at least not easily.

Definitely NOT an easy breezy event.

 

This game can sure test our allegiance, that's for sure. I just harvested 29 Mooncake Wonder stables and got No
Pelicans! BP can be sooo stingy with their random allocations. So, no way am I buying any of the latest random offerng! They are really dumb if they cannot make this connection... And this on top of the log-in debacle...

 

Messed up ... again!

Sold lots of Spiders and forgot to leave enough for the event! Ha ha! Looks like I'm not meant to complete this event but I will keep on going just cos it's in the Event field.
What with the game interruptions and slow game, forgetting to harvest the Event field, looks like I am fighting a losing battle!

 

If calculated right, now have 519 GearCoins, +53 + 39 +56 = +1 after Cloudrow... when it is doen, then have to / need / can SOLD some animals, hope prizes ar still high then...

 

Hoping they would extend this event seeing that there has been login issues since Friday.

 

Finished as much as I want to do, didn't bother with the CR but bought one of the CR items so I will trade that at the next G&T.
Spent coins and left the Pirate sailing around my endeavours!

 

I decided to do a tiny bit of this event on this farm and PM23's - mostly for the season points. SL's farm is done. Don't know why I'm still growing the event crop, maybe just cuz I can?
