It's very hard to look at the plots to plant due to the colour scheme

 

This is a perfect event for my playing style. I appreciate not having to tear up my regular playing fields and not having any mill or drop items is a real plus.

I also appreciate the Forum strategy section with its excellent guidance and helpful suggestions. After reading Northy's detailed information, I hit my market and bought most of the necessary items. I had saved lots of coins so prices were within reach. I rarely do events now for personal reasons and find that in between the ones I do, I can save coins and build up a stock of items to sell in the market - or buy in the market when the price is good.

I don't mind the lack of extras to grow crops faster. I find it helps me keep more of a real life/game balance. No complicated (for me) strategy or time needed to reach the end.
Very relaxing which is what I want to feel when I play a game.

Update 1: I don't know why, but today the plots are more defined with 'rocks' around the borders. To me they look different than they did yesterday and are more easy to distinguish. I like the nautical theme. Graphics are well done.

Update 2 Saturday night US CT: Just completed the event and will harvest the CR tomorrow when workshops are ready for harvest. I would love an extra set of deco items, but it's beyond my means to get what's needed to go another round. After earning enough gear coins for the decos (yesterday), I purchased the decos and placed in Shipwreck Bay to get the benefit of one TEP harvest before putting them on the CR tonight. Being retired, I was able to harvest the crop throughout the day and did not spend any RL money on this event. Also finished the Season tonight so will focus on restocking and quests for the foreseeable future.

 

I rather enjoy events on the event playfield, provided that the requirements reflect the fact that there is no way to speed or otherwise augment harvests, and allow us to play at a rate that accomodates real life. It is rather pleasant to only check in three times a day. I for one make more choices every day about how to play this game, instead of allowing it to play me. Events like this one help that goal. It is very beautiful, the event field layout, but I do agree - if you are hand seeding, it is a little hard to see.

 

It was definitely a bad thing. Why can't we get all Cloudrow and items when we finish the event? N Why do we have to do repeatable quests? why is the creator of this event giving us challenges already the game is full of problems
