This is a built totems kinda mini game: players need to chose 2 out of 3 colours and fill in all their requests to pass on to the next one.

For newer players: make sure that you have access to all that is required before chosing a totem colour. Some ask for rarer main land tree fruits that can be purchased from the market & Bahamarama Products (statue of the required animal needed to craft the product needs to be open for you to be able to craft it or buy it from your market)!

event crop: Cheese Puff Plant 5h30 on Main land and Green Meadow only
    event drops (2 types):
    1. Milk Can from trees and crops on all 3 Main lands only
    2. Cheese Slicer from trees and crops on all 3 tropical lands only
milling item: Cheese Platter 398 Cheese Puff Plants + 57 Cheese Slicers

To get the cloud row + givers, players will need to complete 14 "games", ie finish 7 layers with 2 totems per layer. Here are the numbers to complete each layer (2 totems per layer):

    Layer 1: 2050 Cheese Puff Plants + 180 Milk Cans + animals/crops/tree fruits
    Layer 2: 2300 Cheese Puff Plants + 180 Milk Cans + animals/crops/tree fruits
Layer 3: 2600 Cheese Puff Plants + 200 Milk Cans + animals /crops/ tree fruits
Layer 4: 2600 Cheese Puff Plants + 200 Milk Cans + animals /crops/ tree fruits
    Layer 5: 3100 Cheese Puff Plants + 220 Milk Cans + animals /tree fruits/products (truffle/Koi fish/Honey)
    Layer 6: 3980 Cheese Puff Plants + 220 Milk Cans + 570 Cheese Slicers +animals /tree fruits/ Baha products (Peanut Butter/Ear Warmers/Chopsticks) + milling 10 Cheese Platters
    Layer 7: 3980 Cheese Puff Plants + 400 Milk Cans + 570 Cheese Slicers +animals /tree fruits/ Baha products (Potteries/Bikinis/Shark Tooth Necklaces) + milling 10 Cheese Platters

    Total : 20610 Cheese Puff Plants + 1600 Milk Cans + 1140 Cheese Slicers + milling 20 Cheese Platters

As reward this will grant a total of 370 Star Coins that can be spent in the shop.

The 8th layer is a "bonus" one:

    Layer 8: 4100 Cheese Puff Plants + 320 Milk Cans + animals/crops/tree fruits/Baha product (Nut Crackers/Flying Carpets)

This will award another 130 Star Coins to be spent as seing fit in the store.

Grand Total to fully complete the event:

    24710 Cheese Puff Plants + 1920 Milk Cans + 1140 Cheese Slicers + mill 20 Cheese Platters

Second copies of the givers can be purchased with Star Coins and they are great! Also Piccolo Wonder Boxes (1) are offered too. Thing is with finishing the 7 first layers, players will only get 370 Star Coins, finishing all 8 layers brings 500 Star Coins. With 500 SC, it's possible to get all 3 second copies of givers.

    Good luck everyone!

Thank you Nordais, for starting the thread and for all your wonderful details that you post for us!:inlove: I have decided NOT to do this
event as I think "they" want a lot of my barn things I am not willing to give up!:p We here in Florida are also preparing for a
very powerful hurricane arriving overnight into Wednesday, and we could lose power! Soo Good luck to all who are doing the Game of Cheeses!

I'm in. Disappointing that we can't get enough star coins to get a 2nd set of givers.

sanddollar - Best wishes that you have no damage (property or otherwise) from the hurricane and hopefully keep power. You (and all of FL) are in my thoughts and prayers for your safety.

Northy, Thanks for starting the strategy thread.

The good news is that this is mostly a "grow and throw" kind of event. No mini-games. So I think I'm going to give it a whirl on at least sewinglady's farm. Maybe this farm and PM23 - not sure. In a bit of a time crunch at the moment. Need to do some serious sewing to make up what I've sold last 2 RL farmer's markets, plus I have some custom orders to get done...who needs sleep?

I hope everyone in the path of this latest hurricane can stay safe and dry.

Northy, I continue to be in awe at your calculations. Your guidelines are invaluable to us newer players to help us decide if we can realistically have a chance to complete the event. I am very grateful for the time and effort you spend to share this information.

I remember doing this type of game a while ago and can't recall how I did. Likely not so well as I would not have had most of the rare or Baha items. I will skip this event and continue to focus on quests. Next goal is to get the base Super Jumbo Tree and that quest needs countless crops! :D

Good luck to all working the event, and again encourage newer players to carefully read Northy's post to make sure you have access to, or already have, all needed items, or statues open in the Temple. I now have a habit to check here before beginning any event and it helps me so much.

Also thinking of and praying for all those in the storms' paths. Our temps finally dropped back to the double digits after weeks of triple, and we also had a gentle overnight rain which yielded about an inch of much needed rain.

Thanks Nordais,Northy for starting the thread and the excellent breakdown.;)

I'm back with decent internet but I am a bit disappointed that there aren't enough coins awarded to do much more than one Piccolo Box and most of the PF (my particular go to!). I also have animals and trees out so may just see how things go, maybe start late and use some of the vast amount of SG and SSG I have managed to accumulate by sitting out a few events! :music:

Whatever happens, good luck to all and all my sincere hopes for those in Florida and around the hurricane site that it passes smoothly and with little or no damage and that everyone is safe and sound in the morning. :)

Thank you for starting this thread, I am sure it is valuable for many.

I have decided to give this event a skip as the prizes aren't very interesting.

The event is worth the effort just for The Cheesy Throne. FAQ has been revised.
I should have known that 2000% bonus was too good to be true.

We are crazy busy right now, so I won't have a ton of time to be able to harvest regularly, so I don't know how far I'll get in this event, but I will give it a whirl anyway. Even if I can get a few of the prizes I'll be doing good; glad it's a grow and throw, no time for mini games. If I had a lick of sense I'd put out all pens and sell poo and products and forget trying to sneak in a harvest or two a day. :pxD

sanddollar, stay safe, hope the worst stays off coast and damage is minimal.

Cloud row gives the same, I don't think that is very special.

    Gives: 2000 EP/TEP and 100% EP/TEP when harvesting for 1 hour
    Time: 20 hours

    We can get.
In the 7th layer we will get 60 star coins instead of 50. So we can get the 2nd set of the givers with 500 star coins.

They are different. Throne of Cheeses gives 2000 EP total. Cloud Row gives 2000EP x farm level.

Thanks Northy for the calculations. Always helpful. Would have been more helpful if you could tell me what to donate and where xDxD

@sanddollar15 - hope all goes well. Stay safe.

That was my intent at first but with the animals/tree fruits/crops/products donations not being on the same step in each totem made it hard to understand and confusing. I went for the limiting numbers: events crops and drops! I also wanted to underline the importance of having baha products, this event is presented as a main farm event and yet if players are not far enough in opening statues in the Bahamarama Golden Bananas Temple they'll be stock at layer 6 and will never be able to get to the cloudrow. When I mean far, I mean having opened the temple to at least room 6 and purchased all of the middle row statues tu onlock the koala (107 golden bananas just for the statues!). I don't think it's fair to block players this close to the cloudrow and with not too many Star Coins either to make it worthwhile in the store.

    Edit:

Saw that layer 7 offers 60 Star Coins per totem. With that and completing laywer 8 will bring in 500 Star Coins which is enough to fully get the second set of givers. Correction made in the first post.

The game FAQs' are still showing 50 right now and I see from the event star coin shop that now just 1 Piccolo Wonder Box can be purchased with coins. I've changed the star coins tally to reflect what's written for now. Hoping to see the corrections soon.

okay, things I know and have decided:

Only sewinglady's farm is doing this event. Other farms are sitting it out. I got a custom order for 11 bags last night. Gotta keep my nose to the sewing machines or I'm in B-I-G trouble.

Secondly: In perusing the value of the 3 givers vs Piccolo Boxes. I think that the best option (for SL's farm) is to get the cheesy throne (100% EP/TEP) and the feed your dragon (100% EP from Moonlight givers). SL's farm is maxed out on Bahamarama, so that first of the three givers is kind of not worth the coins for that farm. Hoping I can swing the other two givers and a single piccolo box.

So here's my ultimate thought regarding those givers vs. piccolo box - the givers are sure thing. Piccolo boxes are not. If you need decent givers for your pet playground, go for the sure things. If you are inclined to take a chance, remember, you can wind up with a fairy hot springs - ick! OR one many nice things like a magic tree or barnyard bill tree - hooray -- we just never know until we open them!

Edited to add: There's a weird glitch when you finish a totem. There's an animation dragon that plays and I think that if you go to the next totem page before both animations have played, you cannot start that next page without pressing F5.

I passed level 2 in this game. "Milk can" is not enough. Waiting for the event plants to grow. I try to grow other plants and animals that he wants from us. This activity is very difficult.

Yes, as Northy (Nordais) mentioned, this particular event requires some rarer items that newer players may not have the ability to grow/make. Some of them you can purchase in the market, but the prices will be high.

Do what you can, reap what rewards you can and after that, put out animal pens and sell the manure - sky high on markets #9 and #13, and likely also all the others. Cash in on that boon while it lasts.

As I'm writting this, Bestelina, you're at level 71. This means that you cannot expect to finish this event for sure because you won't have enough drops from bahamarama fields because the majority of your fields are still closed, you do not have access to the bahamarama products and probably do not have all of your land opened on your main farm either. I hope you haven't bought an event basket because this won't help you one bit. Growing the event crop can be a good way to raise your level on your main farm and both drops will turn into EPs and CCs at the end of the event. Your best bet would be to focus on opening up land sections and continue to work on that.

If you want enough Star Coins to buy a giver, you'd need to finish layers 1 to 4 and half of layer 5 (that's a big undertaking). Layer 5 asks for main land products (honey/koi fish/truffle) that you'll probably need to buy from the market and they'll be expensive. Good luck with the event!

I agree with Northy's advice. I'm at lvl 224 mainland and have all fields open. I'll be playing two years in December. When I began playing, I was advised to work on opening fields first. I remember trying a few events in the beginning, but my progress was quite limited. Rather than trying to buy my way to the end (sometimes it works, but usually it won't), I slowed my pace and worked on Farmer Society Quests and slowly but surely I opened all fields. Even now, I am very choosy about which events I do. I come here to check out the requirements and decide if it's worth my time, effort, and peace of mind to start. Doing this helps me enjoy the game with no frustration. I hope everyone - especially newer players - will take the time needed to prepare a good strategy and enjoy the game - do not try to do every weekly event. Happy (and fun) farming!

Yes, relatively speaking, it's very easy to progress these days compared to the years after the game was released. I don't even remember how many years, but about 1.5 years after the publication I started.

SEVEN years went to level 100 and then another 2 years to level 200.

It sounds like "child's play" these days, but on the other hand, I myself have read master's papers in statistics to myself and it is very difficult to count everything, what is enough and in which order it makes the most sense to proceed.

On the other hand, it fascinates me, a 50-year-old man, that here you can be a widow and think. BUT nowadays this isn't aimed at children AT ALL, like I thought when I started, "what a wonderful children's game..." well, it's not :)

    To the point...

I just checked and went to buy the deficiencies at the market, about 20 million went, but it's enough to "smart" now then grow the plants and get drops!

Long nerves to the lower-levels if you try to get far and attention, specifically attention, to EVERYONE, so that you don't accidentally choose the wrong or wrong totem poles!

    Yours: Noob

p.s. In my nickname, that 2210, why not added a YEAR when started, because I started 22 day of October...
