The Great Chase XII

Extention for the event has been announced:

Due to the DDoS attacks the fame faced over the weekend, the Game Team has decided to extend the event The Great Chase XII to Wednesday, 13th of September at 12:00 CEST (UTC +2).

 

I am so thankful for the extension! Now I have a shot at the CR, and I'm thrilled.

 

All 3 participating farms got the CR. Sewinglady's farm played 115 games and got the piccolo boxes. I am done. Not growing more event crops, not playing more games. This week is so crazy busy for me, I just don't have time.

Glad they extended the event for those who have the time to farm and play the mini-games. The weekend's crashing/downtime had me seriously considering walking away and never farming again.

I am still chasing for drops and prizes on the right side. I have plenty of event plants left in my storage.

 

Finally it's finally over.
Out of stubbornness, I continued until I finished.
12K SG, 2K SSG, tens of thousands of manures...
Nearly 300 mini games.
Profit = 1 XXL SG tree.
I harvest jumbo trees once a day. When I use SSG and Turbo fertilizer, I harvest 8 SG.
Roughly calculated, 12,000 /8 = 1500 days.
I think this is the summary of why I cannot be a good trader even though I am a good engineer.

It was a difficult event. It was an "impossible mission" for low level players and those with low resources.

 

I got the CR! I am so happy right now that I'm wiggling with joy as I type this.

No chance in Hades to finish, but thanks to the extension I got the cloud row. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

 

So I am not the only fool, who uses a lot of resources to get 1 XXL tree Right now I am harvesting 13 SG, The Ice Stag helps every other day and there are cloud rows giving +1, but they are rarely ready at same time. I have no idea how many games I played, less than I expected, I have event plants left. I had to make instant drops for the last two games, because I miscalculated time and planted too long crops on my main field and I did not want to remove them. And I have SG left for the next event.

 

I played 95+ games, got to, funnily enough, level 95 on the right hand side. Got tired of the mini-game after the CR so didn't really make much effort. I like this event but it becomes a drag. What to do?
Hey, I join the queue of fools: I carried on planting this morning and gained nothing for my efforts - just short of level 96!
And on to the next one ...

 

I finished last night before bed.

211 games making an average of approx 130 points per game. I was fortunate to get some bonus wheel spins, used my Jack O Gifts one day, and some Super Grow and Suzy's super grow that I had in stock. Very time consuming. Loads of clicking. Some scenes have very small items or items that require you to click multiple times in just the right place for it to register. That loses valuable time.

It has left me event tired. Happy to finish but tired. So thankful next event doesn't have a mini game.

I like this mechanic but do feel that over 200 mini games to finish is excessive. Needs to be rebalanced.

 

Ditto. Got the XXL tree on two farms = about 440 mini games. Blah.
I saw Zeigfried in my sleep last night. He could have, at least, put the dog out this morning... Lazy bloody crazy scientist.

 

I finished my 100++ minigames, using ONLY "find 10" -option. First time but not the last time, in this type of event. Not a minimal chance to Piccolo (17800 about points) even if played 100++ perfect minigames, so WHY... I think "we who have more experiment and more recourses" are quite... stupid... to get that XXL Jumbo tree.

And I'm not saying this in any way BADLY, but with a BIG smile on my face BECAUSE many people in this conversation have already calculated that they have wasted absolutely impossible SG and SSG and getting it back with that prize JUMBO will take years and years

edit and p.s. AND now I´m awake, 7.10 local time, to do next event... How about SLEEP... no, not this time, even this time!
