Tomato's Quest v3

Breeding event clearing 3 floors with mammal, fullmoon, reptile & arthropode badges. To clear the third floor, payers need to collect daffodils from the 3 harvestable tiles in the Flowershop and the Greenhouse. The daffodils needed here are not main land crops!

Clearing the Flowershop and Greehouse will give everything needed for the cloudrow, the third floor, the Vault, offers bonus prizes.

Flowershop (1st floor):

needed: 141 mammal badges + 35 fullmoon badges
received: 16 Daffodils + 2 timed Daffodil tiles (9 & 14) with cooldown of 5h

Greenhouse (2nd floor):

needed: 119 reptile badges + 100 arthropode badges
received: 8 Daffodils + 1 timed Daffodil tile (19) with cooldown of 5h

Vault 93rd floor):

needed: 150 Daffiodils + 15 fullmoon badges
received: 3 Suzy's super grow + 1 timed SSG tile (1) with cooldown of 5h

Total to get the cloudrow:

141 mammal badges + 35 fullmoon badges + 119 reptile badges + 100 arthropode badges

that's 395 breedings = 790 power feeds (395 with Discount Day if announced)

Total to complete the event:

141 mammal badges + 50 fullmoon badges + 119 reptile badges + 100 arthropode badges + 150 daffodils (150-24 received = 126 Daffodils / 8 = 17 harvest of timed tiles)

That's 410 breedings = 820 power feeds (410 with Discount Day if announced)

Can't decide whether or not to do this one tomorrow and get it done, or wait and see if we get a discount day this weekend.

The good thing about getting it done tomorrow is the guaranteed (announced) baby boom.

The other option is to at least get it started tomorrow and finish it this weekend...with fingers crossed for an additional baby boom and a discount day.

In any case, Northy, thanks for starting both event threads and for doing all the math!

You do a Great job, I am NEVER correcting you, just making sure the numbers I do for myself match!

 

I have a breeding shed full of mammals. My daughter is sick so our appointment tomorrow has to be rescheduled. I will plan to do this event tomorrow so I can concentrate on the other event and hopefully get both done. With illness going around, I would prefer to lose some PF with regular Baby boom than to try to wait for Discount day and not feel well enough to do it. Plus...I have not done the math but if we wait til weekend for breeding, will there be enough time to collect all the daffodils needed to finish?

The biggest hurdle I will face is not lack of PF but remembering to visit the timed tiles to get the daffodils

 

I think it best to start as soon as possible to open timed flowerpots to get Daffodils. After they are open, then there is time to wonder, if there will be discount day or not.

 

I do not mind when someone points typos or errors my way, after all we're all posting to help others! I dunno why but reading and finding mistake on a PC screen is getting harder and harder with age...

 

Each Daffodil tile gives out 8 daffodils, so we need to collect 17 tiles to make it to the 150 total daffodils. With 3 tiles and a 5h cooldown time I think it's doable even if breeding is done this weekend. The only but that comes in mind is: will there be a Discount Day!

It's a breeding event, of course I'm in! I am hoping for a Happy Discount Day - don't care when! But if not, I will do as much as I can - I have a full Motel but it is a mix of all so will need at least another 700 PF and I have less than 600 at the moment! We shall see ...

PnP - hoping you don't get the crud. Idaho is having a terrible outbreak of the latest COVID - and we didn't know that when we stopped there on the way home, so now we're hoping we're vaccinated ENOUGH to not get it if we were exposed.

Thank you dumbunny and sanddollar Daughter is feeling much better. Still low grade fever and sore throat but headache and chills are gone.

I am not ill, but I also don't feel great. Maybe a nap will help but it is only 10:30 in the morning!

I'm skipping this one too. Breeding events aren't my cup of tea, and I'm scheduled for a COVID/Flu shot on Friday. My brain will be mush for a couple of days and I don't want to try to keep up with timed breedings and daffodils.

I plan to rest, eat pizza, and watch a lot of competition cooking shows on Saturday. Sunday will be football ALL day, but at least hubby will be willing to go get lunch before the 1 PM games start.
