Fright Night at the Drive-In

This event requires crops and drops to build three different parking spots.

Event crop: Glowkin 6h on the Moonlight field and Magic Mushroom field only
Drop: Spookcorn from crops and trees on the Moonlight field and Magic Musheroom field

Eerie Parking Spot 1 (Moonlight crops - between 20 and 60):

to get the cloudrow only: 6872 Glowkins + 249 Spookcorns + MM crops
to fully complete the parking spot: 7351 Glowkins + 300 Spookcorns + MM crops

Eerie Parking Spot 2 (Moonlight trees):

to get the cloudrow only: 6872 Glowkins + 249 Spookcorns + 20 Twilight Catkins + 30 Ember leaves + 30 Sarcophagus pears
to fully complete the parking spot: 7351 Glowkins + 300 Spookcorns + 20 Twilight Catkins + 30 Ember leaves + 30 Sarcophagus pears + 40 Crimson eyes

Eerie Parking Spot 3 (Moonlight critters):

to get the cloudrow only: 7342 Glowkins + 305 Spookcorns + 3 Zombie sheeps + 3 Horror tomatoes + 3 Darklight fireflies
to fully complete the parking spot: 8929 Glowkins + 394 Spookcorns + 3 Zombie sheeps + 3 Horror tomatoes + 3 darlight fireflies + 3 Trollophants

Total to get the cloudrow:

21086 Glowkins + 833 Spookcorns + all MM crops/trees/critters listed above in green

Total to fully complete the event:

23631 Glowkins + 994 Spookcorns + all MM crops/trees/critters listed above in red

I'm all in on the usual 3 farms. Why? Oh you know, I have no free time, I should be sewing and I have a show on October 21st.

At least this is a grow and throw - no milling.

I do wish we didn't need to donate zombie sheep to this event, too, though.

I will be giving this one a miss - prizes not that appealing and I would prefer to concentrate on growing MM crops to help feed my spooky critters.

I'm passing on this one. I've got a few new items I put out after G&T, and they need time to work. Especially the Trollophants and Slime Mills - I have a long way to go to reach my goals for them.

 

Don't forget to use up any season tokens before they end, the +1 harvest bonus can help meet those crop needs that much faster.

 

Well I'm having issues on sewinglady's farm this morning with regards to this event. It's a mess. Event shows completed but it is not. Didn't have enough crops to finish the event. I've posted in technical issues and I'll keep y'all posted.

Edited to add: Cache cleared, uninstalled and reinstalled the client. That fixed the issue. So sewinglady's farm is done with this event. This farm and PM23's are still slogging through.

May have to stop to grow jelly ear fungus for zombie sheep food.

 

Sorry dumbunny you are having issues with this event! I have just finished the event, I have my CR up and running and put the giver and it's curtain on Haunted Mansion! I just the graphics in this event! I am now going back to spend the Star Coins I have won! Good Spooky Luck to you all!

 

The standalone is acting up at times: mine doesn't seem able to handle all the bonuses I get when harvesting all the cloudrows in the morning, it gets clunkiy and then gives me the "spinning daisy of death". Also, I can only hit F5 once, after that it won't work and I need to close it down and restart. Something that doesn't happen with the web version...

 

Well I am having the same issue with this farm. As soon as I got the cloud row, the event window did the same exact thing. Only way around it is to open the game in a browser window. It's normal there and you can continue to donate.

Microsoft Edge is ok but all the wording is Blurry been like that couple of months when i am playing Farmerama on it

Just been looking at my Barn stock of Crates.... Crates of Animal Feed gives Zombie Sheep Feed, Also Slime Monster Feed, Spider Feed

I am not convinced getting Spookcorn Booth and Upgrade as it gives +1 Shimmer Berries because their are other boosters can help stock up Shimmer Berries

I am interested if there is new spooky crop, spooky fruit or spooky critter to stock up on

 

Wait a minute, what's so strange about this, when strange things are cultivated?

There are only 59 hours left in the event, so I think it's just less than half of the event time. Yes, I understood correctly, but then I wonder, when day and night, or 24/7 in English, I have grown that plant of the event for 4 hours and 48 minutes at a time, put it in the fields when I go to sleep, accumulated that time that I mentioned above, after one´s in the night, slept again less than 5 hours and harvested the fields for a day and cultivated one more time and that's my surprise:

only 12585 plants, the need to play through completely is almost 24000 plants.

So I managed to collect half of the plants and in more than half the event time!

Normally, using CAC, I get through these easily, and the urgency of the plants has never been lacking.

all areas in use (well, 2 pieces...) and a full 44 large, i.e. 176 smallest fields in each of them.

In the beginning I used SSG and SG first for 10 plants and got 100, then I repeated the same SSG+SG for those hundred plants and it seems that there is no way I can finish everything like that?

Are other players in the same situation as me that even an alarm clock and waking up at night does not help to get through the event?

Best thing is, no need to Full Moon Trees or Wonder Trees...

so maybe I can be happy IF... IF... IF... getting all those about 24000 event plants...

 

All done, drops were slow to get there not sure if newer players will get there... Decided to spend my coins on 3 of the XXL MM trees: blood oak, twilight birch and Sarcophagus pear + Crate O'Neon II and the Piccolo Box, that made de 1155 coins.

I just realized that doing the first and third building only would grant the cloudrow and the one giver that it needs to run. That cuts down things alot! To just get the cloudrow + 1 giver for it that makes it 14214 Glowkins and 554 Spookcorns + 3 Zombie sheeps + 3 Horror Tomato + 3 Darklight fireflies!

 

Drops are slow for me, too. If I make it to step 9 in booth 2, I'll have reached my basic goals.
My strategy should have been a bit different, and in retrospect, I should have stopped at lvl 9 in booth one rather than completing it.
Then worked towards lvl 9 for booths 2 and 3. Booth 2 is now at lvl 6 and booth 3 at lvl 9.
CR is up and waiting to harvest tomorrow morning to get the most benefit.
I've used some of my coins towards SSG as I've not been lucky with any wheel + spins.

Update: Tuesday evening and I just completed the event. The graphics are amazing - very well done. My favorite is booth 2!

Drops were enough with 114 spookcorn and 116 glowkins remaining. I used my star coins on a Piccolo box three XXL upgrades, and the rest was for 15 lots of PF and some SSG during the event. I had a huge boost from a +2 giver received from a recent Piccolo - had two daily harvests for 6 crop/plot and one with 4 crop/plot using CAC. Drops came from event crop and all my trees placed in the Mushroom forest. I doubt I would have completed the event without the CAC and +2.

Next goal is Bored Slime quest as it gives the coveted +2 boost!

Here I´m short of Plants (so, 21000++ already... yes, soon) but 1199 drops, thinking about " 10+10 those longest trees (basic versions) vere good thing to get" - Pink trees (clowing mushroom tree) and Red ones (Spinalwood tree) are those what I mean...

 

To complete all the steps you only need 994 spookcorn drops, so with the 1199 you say you have, you're OK. You should be able to grow the rest of the crops too, I'm sure!

 

When it came time to donate for the cloud row on PM23's farm, I held off. I did the left side first. Then the cloud row - no issues on that farm, so it's something funky with that 3rd section at the point where we get the cloud row - don't do it first (before the other two sections) and you won't experience the weird problem I had.

I think PM23's farm is just about done - this morning's harvest should complete the event for that farm.

I see we get new MM crops, tree and animal. And then another MM event and then another MM event. So WHEN are we gonna have time to grow these new things? I think we're going to have to use PF to feed the zombie sheep, too. I don't see time when I can replenish jelly ear fungus and doll's eye mushrooms. Why does that feed take so many?

 

Yes, sorry, I mean that I already have the Drops no worry about those but need some event plants, just going to check, if now is full amount ready...
