A 3 layer event with some milling required, the cloudrow has a 23h cool down time and gives a chance to win MM food or critters with boosting EP production in the Haunted Manor, so not that bad. Also so decent givers that can be placed in the Haunter Manor!

Event crop: Flowering Grimoire 5h on Green Meadow only

Event drop: Paper Bag from crops and trees on Full Moon Field only

Milling items 15 seconds in the mill each:
Pumpkin Bag 700 Flowering Grimoires + 45 Paper Bags + 200 Monster Pumpkins
    Skull Bag 1200 Flowering Grimoires + 60 Paper Bags + 200 Bonetrees
Cauldron Bag 1500 Flowering Grimoires + 60 Paper Bags + 500 Googly Eye Bushes

To get the cloudrow (up to step 9 out of 10):

    10930 Flowering Grimoires
    1000 Monster Pumpkins (MM crop)
    1000 Bonetrees (MM Crop)
    595 Paper Bags
    5 Pumpkin Bags
    5 Skull Bags

    To finish the event:

    12430 Flowering Grimoires
    1000 Monster Pumkins (MM crop)
    1000 Bonetrees (MM crop)
500 Googly Eye Bushes (MM crop)
    655 Paper Bags
    5 Pumpkin Bags
    5 Skull Bags
    1 Cauldron Bag

Good luck everyone and Happy Trick or Treat!

Thanks, Nordais, for once again doing the sums. ;)

I will skip this one again as I prefer to work on the FSQs while we still have MM fields open plus my fields are full of critters and I am gradually getting a good stock. :music:
Good luck to all those going for it! :inlove:

I'm in on the usual 3 farms. At least we are only planting the event crop on the Green Meadow. I think I need to tweak my fields... off to do so.

Remember that the drop rate on MM fields is awful (plus we can't plunk the Howie Donuts there). So plan accordingly.

Edited to add: In a hurry this morning...too big of a hurry. Forgot to THANK Northy for starting the strategy thread and crunching the numbers.

And, Illy, you SURE you don't want that cloud row - has a 23 hour cycle and it looks pretty good to me.

Thanks Nordais for your excellent summary.
Since crop will be in the meadow and I have the time, I will give it a go. However my mind is on a timezone one day behind the rest of the world it seems, so prepping is non exsisting. Hopefully the drop gods have some pitty-droppings for me.

Just keep a longish crop on the main MM field and you should be fine - well, sorta. Drop rate is always pitiful on MM fields. I put in terror eggplant overnight and got around 100 drops off that.

I agree about the drop rate! I put a "full" field of those Terror Eggplant a 12hr crop ,NO trees:oops: and only got 79!

Thanks, Northy, for event info. After some thought, I decided not to do the event; I have my eye on the Cat Fairy Wand workshop in Jack's Shop and need it to get the new Moth. Did get the new base tree. Several more harvests to complete two more MM quests. It's really nice having so much time to work towards goals! Happy trick or treating to everyone working on the event. Graphics as always, are a visual delight!

Last 2,5 hours (=bonus), using 4 of those "+2 to everything" -bonuses, now I have "a lot" on animals and workshop items :) Used PF to menageries and arborentum...

8500 event plants, some drops, last 4 "+" needed

Good morning, everyone! It's the day before our first Fall show and I'm up. One last day to push through, pack it all up and then "showtime!"

This event is as much fun as watching paint dry.

Drop rate without buffs from givers and CRs is abysmal.

Keep those long timed crops on the main MM field. It's the only way we're gonna get 'er done.

I hope you have a good Fall show Saturday & Sunday!

Abysmal you say, on my baby farm I got 27 paper bags from the 202 1x1 plots with terror eggplants overnight.... My Nordais farm will need all the help it can get! For once there's an event on one field that can be done and it will be the MM drop rate that will stop me from making it! >:(

HINT ! If don´t remembered... use:

    Terror Bouquet (-20% time)
    Water (-20% if WisdomTree used)
    Manure (-10% if WT used)
CR that gives also -20% (="same as Water -efect") and yes I don´t remember the name of CR

If so, then 12 hour plant is 5 hours 11 mins. I get 106 drops, so over 400 drops in 24 hours, easily harwest that 5h11min 4 times a "day"...

We are just now approaching the 2nd day (1/3 of the event has lapsed) so if you have at least 1/3 of the drops needed, you will be fine.
I have plenty of drops, but crops are an uphill climb. First day I got a wheel bonus but I still need to grow more than 6k in crops. I have all 5 arboretums on the Green Meadow so they are taking up 20 spaces plus 2 Howie Donuts. Normally I can work around them just fine.

While it is true that I can finish the event at this pace, I am already eager to return to normal farming. One field is full of stables and the Glade has Piccolo boxes.

Best wishes we all reach our farming goals. :)

Crop and drops follow eachother. I'm stilling trying to figure out my MM goals, so been growing what I think I want/need and have some trees and pens out. Treating those fields as if it were normal. I did 2 extra rounds of SG for the crop, just to make it fit with my life. Have two rooms left. Should be doable.

Hi Moraine I miss your postings on Forum, Welcome Back :D:D

Yeah we all might have different MM goals as it all depends What spooky stuff is worth growing there are some Crates that gives you lots of spooky fruits, crops and spooky critters this applies to all Farmerama Farmers :D:D

There is very little need to grow older spooky crops for Spooky Quests, That why i focus on stocking up Newer Spooky Crops, Plus Spooky Crops to Produce Demonic Oak I have 12 of them in my Eerie Arboretums to work on New Spooky Quest

Demonic Oak need 300 Blood Oaks, I have added 10 More Blood Oak Trees to Mushroom Forest from Jacks Shop :):)

I find producing stuff from Jacks Shop more rewarding then certain MM Quests, Also we have to grow spooky stuff to make Spooky Critter Feeds now build stock for Mothling Feeds and Restock other Spooky Animal feed as i like it to be between 200 to 300:p:p

I now got all the Paper Bags I need for Trick and Treat:D:D:D The drops do very slightly but surprising get more drops of Paper Bags on lesser growing time of spooky crops:wuerg::wuerg: for Example get more drops from 6 Hour Crops then 8 Hour Raven Fern

There is Two Spooky Cloud Row gives reduce time growing spooky crops
    • Eerie Step in Magic Stalk Row II (8 Hours 10% faster spooky crops)
    • Moonlight Magic Stalk Row I (24 Hours 10% faster spooky crops)
I still need 4500 Flowering Grimorie:p:p:p no luck with Harvest Booster wins on The Wheel yet :wuerg::wuerg:

My main farm is done and the cloudrow is up and running, I could even find some space in the Haunted Manor for the second copy of the giver. I'm also done with thenew MM FSQ with the Raven Fern and I'm left with 4 steps to complete the Demonic Oak!

My baby farm is now waiting for drops to mill the Skull Bags, I new it would be the limiting factor in this event, my Moon Light Field is not producing drops, I'm missing 183 drops and just over 3000 event crops...

Hello Mooby, it's good to see you're around too:D:D In fact it's been really nice to see all familiar faces here.

I'm 3 drops and one crop harvest away, so I'm thinking I'm done in 2hours time. I've managed to do a quest giving me a Hellhound stables as well. So win all around. will keep paws crossed for those who's struggling.
