As can be seen in the Game Strategy thread about this new event, many players find it far too complicated.

I hope we can all work it out in the end!

Incredibly complicated. I'm gonna give it a try, but even with help in the strategy thread, I am lost.

well i've played the game for 10 minutes and still couldn't work out how or what was going on-.-
took my son who is an avid gamer about 5 minutes to work it out.
tbh, there's a hell of a lot of effort in creating the game pass in order to play an over complicated game for ..lets face it, quite paltry rewards.
even though this is on the event field and doesn't impact my main farming duties...ill be giving this one a miss....way too much brain effort for poop prizes.

I agree with all of the above. Not sure who thought this was a good event to land us with, much too complicated. I will only do it because it is on the event field (a misnomer if ever there was one) but will not be best pleased if I don't get the cloud row. Prizes very so-so.

Its all about the hearts! its really not that complicated. Everything on the field is grown and harvested to turn in for hearts.. that's how you get the prizes. The mini-game is optional to win boosts to make harvesting faster. you can mill pumpkin man cartridges to feed to your arcade shelf that is on the field, this supposedly gives more hearts when harvested. The only problem I have is that the instructions don't explain how you feed those pumpkin man cartridges to the arcade shelf... I am assuming that you have to wait until the arcade shelf is ready to harvest.. and then Im not sure..... the prizes I think are ok, they could be better but I am happy about getting the MM wonder trees.
If this even was on the moonlight field I probably would pass.

I agree that it is very complicated but I finally worked it out ... I think ... with the help of my fellow farmers in the Strategy Thread and reading and re-reading the FAQs. Will carry on and see how far I get but wouldn't have touched it if it hadn't been on the Event field. 8)

They are fed like normal animals, when they are harvested, you just click on the pen and then click on the Pumpkin Man Cartridge to feed it and then, I think, you can water it. ;)

Well, I'm at a loss with the mini-game. :( Yesterday played my first of the two free games. Couldn't solve it and got the screen saying it was time for a 'break', my game would be saved and continued later. I opened it later, time ran out and now I can't get it to start a new game. So, lost one free game yesterday and haven't been able to open/start one today. It keeps opening yesterday's run-out-of-time game. Is there sth I'm overlooking or is it a bug? Haven't seen any mention of it anywhere.

Zilver, we get two free games a day and they don't carry over. It's really rather complicated as most of us are discovering. I think it will help to read through the game strategy section - lots of good Q&A there and WT posted images which helped me a lot. Hang in there - don't give up and don't stress. (((hugs)))

If you didn't finish the game, it is still saved so you can finish it and earn the reward. You won't get the 2nd bonus since you ran out of time. You will have lost yesterday's 2nd free game since you are still playing the first one.

If you need technical assistance or your account checked, please post in Technical Issues with your game ID# for further assistance.

Thank you MeadowCrossing and Farmers.Almanac! Finally got it :D
What clinched it was that I should just continue till I got it right; whereas I was thinking I should be able to click on a red button or so. Or that it would automatically restart. Was able to finish yesterday's and today's set of mini-games. Great!

Hope this is the correct place for my question.
How many points are needed for the second reward in the mini-games? On the green bar, it shows 20,000, but when I click the magnifying glass, it shows 25,000 under the party tickets. I'm holding off donating more than I already have until I'm sure how much is needed. Thanks very much!

Like a lot of people, at first I thought this was unnecessarily complicated. Once you figure things out, it's relatively simple and quite fun and I wish there was a way we could play more than two games per day without buying stuff. Like many players, I remain frustrated at the idea of an event field that is harder to play on than usual. In this case, I am also stuck on, the whole purpose for the un-aidable event field is to level the playing field, yes? To make it so all players have an equal chance, and long term players do not have an added benefit? I am actually fine with that, slightly annoyed, but I see the point. But if that is the case, then why have a component to this game that severely penalizes players who are newer to the concepts, or who work and cannot log in at specific times? I thought the reason for event field events was so that no one was limited, but the last few event field events have been far more limiting than any other event. I'd like to see ALL events on the event field, but with the usual resources available, allowing for us to continue normal farming but also play events according to our own game playing style. The old Fantasyrama used this dynamic and it was lovely. Specific to this event, I enjoy the graphics and the concept. I support that there are things that we can do that make things move along faster; I do not like the fact that there is very little room for error UNLESS you do these things. Enhancements should be just that - things that make it happen ahead of schedule, not things required for success.

When I look at the requested amounts, I think I will not be able to complete the game. I can collect 9 hearts a day and that's about 36k. Am I making a miscalculation somewhere?

I've played it for some days, and this is my thought on it:
    • Hard to explain in a simle way through the FAQ. Kudos for mods for giving a good try.
    • The gathering of both tree and "stable" at the start had to be decluttered to see what was what. Could have been better solved imo
    • min game is okay, not hard. The progress saved was super. Playing on Win11 (sadly) and the game freezes/needs to be refreshed a lot.
    • The crop is fine, growth time is fine. Like that it's only one crop.
    • The mechanism play mini game to gain boost is fine, when given free per day
    • Enjoyed that the event took place in the event field. Evens out the game between newer-oldtimers, and gives freemium a standing chance.
    • The boost system I did not enjoy. Found it confusing. Never really manged to cut the stable time in half. Or it wasn't visable (glitch?). Tried the cut tree growth time in half, but never really noticed the effect. It may have been there though. Still if not seen, it doesn't exsist.
    • The donation bar, first I prefer carry over donation. Second it seemed you could only donate one type of goods at a time. That was annoying.
I give the grade "meh +"

Variation is important, and not all events are to my taste.

I was able to make the donation to get the cloudrow this morning, so I'm happy about that. I also think that the FAQ was a bit hard to understand, but once I understood that a Pumpkin-Man Cartridge = feed, Arcade Cabinet = animal stall, Pixel Tree - regular tree, then it became all clear. But the math was so hard to come up with to make sure I could get the cloudrow at least: it's a big downer when a player can't be sure if his effort will be rewarded.

I have a mixed feeling about the booster idea: cutting down the Arcade Cabinet cooldown time to 12h with a booster just to make us play a minigame isn't fun. I'm thinking of players who are working and can't log on that much, making the Arcade Cabinet 12h instead of 24h with booster would come down to the same thing and would have made things easier for busy players. I'm OK with the tree booster to get more out of them, but using the 2 tree boosters to get 1 double yield and 1 more normal harvest made things complicated and in the end not that worthwhile.

I don't like the idea of getting charged givers that need to be emptied before putting the away in the cloudrow: we already have SO many givers that finding space for the new ones is a pain. Also, why a charged giver gives out crates that give out MM wonder tree, why add an harvesting step to get to the MM wonder tree? I'm greatful that new types of MM wonder trees were introduced tho, kudos for that!

The design of the event is as always spectacular, I do love the art form of your design team! The new mini game is quite fun to play and is a nice addition to the wild array of mini games, adding bookworms to cancel out a book is a neat idea!

I do like when an event takes place on the Event Field, at least we get to play normally for a while.
