I haven't used my mathematical grey cells doing event sums for a while and, as this one is pretty straight forward, think I can manage it.

Macaron Boxes need to made by milling Vibrant Flower Paper (Main Field and Green Meadow, 5.5 hours) and Wrapping Tissue (Drops from Trees and Crops on Main Field and Green Meadow only).

To complete the event (40 games), deducting the two free Macaron Boxes each player will receive at the start of the event:

78 x 340 Vibrant Flower Paper = 26,520
78 x 20 Wrapping Tissue = 1,560

I am starting off thinking I will skip this event but may change my mind. I have enough SG and SSG to speed things up and the drop rate is not too scary.

I think we need 2 milled products per game, so 78 macron boxes(26,520 crops and 1,560 drops)?

This is the decider for me - probably won't do it.

 

Count me out on this one. If the game is the same as last time it takes an age to do and we rely on someone giving us the sequence of combinations to play it.

 

It takes 585 star coins for cloud row and givers, so if you are skilled at this game, you can gain those coins before actually finishing the game.

I like the cloud row (anything that gives additional revenue sparks my interest) but otherwise I really dislike this mechanic. If I remember correctly, you can be stuck on a level for several attempts meaning we need an unknown quantity of crops/drops to actually do this event. You can easily get stuck if you use all 5 'undo' and, again, if I am remembering correctly, the time doesn't seem to be in our favor so you have to use another box to extend the time if you are trying for the reward to be collected by completing the puzzle within time.

If you are not absolutely having your heart set on a specific reward, you can keep solving the puzzle after time runs out. You will get the 20 star coins for successfully completing the puzzle but not the bonus reward. Many of them I can live without, so my focus is to just solve the puzzle, get the star coins, redeem for cloud row/givers, and be done. I may continue on for a couple of the rewards (another hair gel and some of the Crates would be nice), but that will depend on how much time is remaining the event and how frustrated I am when I get to that point

I applaud BP for giving us many different event mechanics so keep us entertained and IMO this could be a lot of fun with some tweaks.

I have sort of love-hate relationship with these kind on events. So I am doing it.

I just want to point out that the 585 Star Coins are to get the cloud row and all the 3 givers. The cloud row is only asking for the Heavenly Coffee (1x1) giver with 135 SC + cloud row itself at 160 SC. We only need 295 Star Coins to get the cloud row + 1 giver for it to be usable. The other 2 givers are 1x2 that boost EP/TEP with a cooldown time of 24h.

Each mini-game asks for 2 macaron boxes (ugh why not just make it one BP!!!!). It's difficult to come up with real numbers because it depends on how each player is successful with solving the different puzzles. Completing the puzzle rewards 20 Star Coins, be it done in time or not, finishing under the allowed time will just give a bonus prize (the list in the FAQ sheet shows what bonus prize is available with each mini-game). As long as a puzzle isn't completed under the time alltoted, a player can repeat the mini-game and get 5 Star Coins with each successful try until they win the bonus prize. After that there's no Star Coins offered.

A player will also get 5 Star Coins if they fail to solve the puzzle as long as the bonus prize hasn't been won.

Puppiesandponies what's a crack at the Hair Gel Factory, the bonus prize of mini-game 30, so that means she'll have to play at least 30 mini-games to get there. Players need to solve mini-game 1 to be able to attempt mini-game 2 and so on.

For me there isn't a single bonus prize that is worth the effort: base lepidodendron, base roadrunner, base secretary bird are so bleach!!

I'm aiming to get the 295 Star Coins for the cloud row + Heavenly Coffee giver only. If I'm successful in each attempt, that means I need to play no more that 15 mini-games (15 x 20 Star Coins = 300 Star Coins vs 295 needed). If I was oh so unlucky and just failed at solving mini-game 1 and just exited each time, that would require 59 mini-games (59 x 5 Star Coins = 295 Star Coins)

Number would then be:

Minimum needed:

15 mini-games - 1 free mini-game = milling for 14 mini-games (2 macaron boxes per mini-game) = milling 28 macaron boxes

Total: 9520 Vibrant Paper Flowers + 560 Wrapping Tissues

Maximum needed:
59 mini-games - 1 free mini-game = milling for 58 mini-games (2 macaron boxes per mini-game) = milling 116 macron boxes

Total: 39440 Vibrant Paper Flowers + 2320 Wrapping Tissues

illy1996's numbers are for players who'll be able to solve each puzzle on their first try (be it on time or not) and want to get to the end for a chance at getting the Piccolo Box.

I hope that this time around the timer will stop with each bow tying of completed macaron boxes animation, else it will be a repeat of that dreadful event once again.

Good morning all! I am on my second cuppa. I read the FAQ yesterday and I think all 3 of my usual farms are going as far as getting the 1 giver needed for the CR and the cloud row.

As others have mentioned, I detest the mechanics of this mini-game. Ugh. Really really, UGH! In all the ways possible.

Hoping I can garner enough star coins before the mini-games turn ugly and call it quits.

 

Tsäpädäpädää (=fanfare!) same old "this type of event" - almost impossible to get those last 15 right without any help (...of forum readers, same as last time) "right-chain-of-moves". Used 10+100 SG & SSG to get all plants to small plots. Doing some "matematically helpful games" and thats it. CR... ouh, not to me, and those "sell-it-yourself-prizes"... auh, auts, hurts! ... 21 starcoins to get 20 SG back already used 110 BUT:

nerves to everybody who try this!

 

Just now put the first 10 seeds into planting.

I've already missed two harvest due to real life and well, laziness. I am ofc giving it a go, knowing all too well this is one of my least favourite minigames BP makes. Cursor of mouse, slightly not where BP has programmed the click box and ugh.

Now I've played the 3 first games, and what is the timer at the end when the prizes pop up ?

 

Timer at the end is an annoyance, and nothing more. Hurry up and wait. Just like when we play the pizza game.

Okay, things I know this morning: Last night SL's farm played off about 14 games. At game #10, screwed up. Timer ended. Mini-game let me keep playing. I successfully completed the level AFTER the timer had run out. I received the 20 star coins. Did NOT receive the bonus (Which I think was a harvester coupon). The next game, I did successfully in the allotted time - and got the star coins and the previous level's harvester coupon.

So, if you're following what's happening here, IF that farm were to go all 40 levels - it would NOT receive the piccolo box at the end because of that one level - and if there were other levels missed, it would be short TWO or MORE prizes at the end.

Also, check out the meager prizes for remaining star coins. Really NOT worth it to go one step farther than what's needed for that CR.

14 games are needed to get that so we need 28 macaron boxes total. This farm and PM23's will be happy if they get there. SL's farm is playing off the remaining boxes today, garnering what it can and calling it good.

 

That's not supposed to happen, not if we compare to last year's similar event. You should repport this in the technical section.

We need to complete puzzles of 15 mini-games to get 300 Star Coins, cloud row + the 1 giver require 295 SC in total. But you are right about us needing to mill 28 macaron boxes.

Thank you so much WisdomTree .... it was easy to start the task when I thought I would get a list from you again this year.

One more harvest and I get a row of clouds.
This year the mini-game felt a little easier.

 

Thank you WisdomTree for the chart I am surprised players have already completed all 40 games! I have the cloud row and need 75 more star coins for the giver that goes on it. Drops are good. Would love to get a farmwheel bonus but that hasn't happened yet.
