Strategy: Macaron Mania

Sewinglady's farm is done growing the event crop, so this morning got a 100% wheel bonus. Pfft. It's all okay, having a lovely theme day of "other" crops and have planted gooseberries. Can never have enough gooseberries.

This farm and PM23 are dilly-dallying and still working on the event.

Hope everyone is warmer than we are. 20 below zero this morning. Never got above that yesterday, either. And the wind is blowing like crazy so the wind chill is ugly. No going outside.

This year I'm very tired so I decided to slow down with the events. I'm with puppiesnponies, waiting for the next harvest to grab the giver that goes with the cloud and I'll be done with this event.

Here in Brazil, tempertures are going over forty degrees Celsius in some places, so maybe I'd be better living near you, dumbunny

Played 17 mini-games on my main farm and 16 on my baby farm, got the cloud row and Heavenly Coffee giver for both farms. Since I'm not interested with the bonus prizes, I just played along without looking at *WisdomTree* chart. Didn't get 2 of the bonus prizes on my baby farm but cleared the 17 on my main farm. I did sow another round of event crops before playing my mini-games, just in case. I might continue, but I'm still annoyed that the bow animation, while having been cut down to one second or so, because it blocks us from clicking on the boxes.

 

I'm skipping this. Between the cold drugs kicking my rear end and the computer issues I don't have the bandwidth to handle any events right now.

The previous two times my hubby got sick I managed to stay healthy. This time the germs were just too strong.

 

-48F. This morning. Our water is frozen. Has warmed up to -20F. Beach party time?

Only my oldest farm is doing this event. Got the CR. Should have the one required giver soon. That's all I'm going to work for although if I have extra crops, I'll continue to try. Thanks *WisdomTree* for the very useful chart!

Edit: I have finished, thanks to you, WisdomTree. All of your steps made sense except the start of #36 which starts off 1-3 2-3 10-3, but 3 is already full. Maybe some initial steps got lost or something. I am sorry that I am not a lot of help. All the others worked fine! and I got 36 done in a scramble!

OMG BlackCaviar, I am getting chills just thinking how cold that is! When I lived up in Maine on a very rare occasion, we might get to -15F for a day or two but -48F is mind boggling! Take care and stay warm!

I usually have all Baha Fields full of 12 hour Trees, so i am able to harvest these fields twice a day This bodes well working on new Baha Fruit Tree Quest , as I won 3 x Breadnut Trees with current Baha Seeding Event

I can now resume to normal farming in Main Field and Green Meadow, As i got my Super/Suzy/Jumbo Trees in Glade Field

In Relation to this event, Those aiming for CR and Heavenly Coffee Giver, when got to this FOCD Milestone There is Craft Buff Called PAC (Pineapple Cake) I have forgotten about this buff for sometime This is handy when CAC is not require to stock up event crops during non event crops pending events or achieved Event FAQ Rewards for example just aiming for CR + Giver PAC gives +1 on Tropical Fruit Trees Diamond Slot

I opened some crate and got 209 party spins. Spun half of them. Got 1005 into barn 3 +1 crops and activated a 100% crops slot. Now getting 10 per 1x1 plot.

Can someone update the rumour thread, please.

Any reason why we should buy the Kitchen Chaos & The Big Bake Off ? They are not needed in the cloud row. Can I skip buying them ?

 

My farms don't have room for those givers, and they only give extra EP/TEP on crops and workshop goods - big whoopdedoo.

 

My baby farm has free space in the first park and with 8000 EP/TEP it's about as good as it gets (the monthly givers are about that much right now). Just a little boost for plant & workshop exp is not unwelcomed too...

My main farm will not sink so low and will pass those, no questions asked!

 

Thanks dumbunny & Nordais. I think I will go for others and put the EP Givers in the last of the line. As I didn't play the game for nearly a year, I will go for the wonder stables to get those wonder stables I missed.

 

All done on all 3 participating farms. I will say that the mechanics of the mini-game ran smoother this time out than the last time we played around with macarons.

 

If I recall, those are both 1x2 givers and would be useful on other CRs. If that is not the case, then no, not worth buying.

 

I couldn't finish in the 40th game and left the game. Will I get a piccolo box when I play again?

 

When you replay, the reward is still available. You will get the piccolo box if you complete this round within the time requested.

I have done 21 one games and achieved the CR and needed giver . I did the first 10 levels without assistance from WisdomTree's solution chart, with no misses. For the next 10 games I used the chart. I found that I really only needed to remember the first 3-5 moves to be able to see the pattern and finish without further assistance on most of them, tho I admit the long sequence ones had me concerned. I did fine until game 22, coincidentally all the games I have available for the moment, when I got befuzzled and messed up. My takeaways so far: print off the chart and have it next to you when you play the minigames. Focus on the first several moves most, the pattern should emerge fairly quickly. And if you have a touchscreen, use it - until round 22 I never finished with less than 20 seconds remaining. I will continue to grow and play until event end, but am satisfied with my outcome.
