Firstly, congrats on your BB Tree! :inlove:

I am also struggling to work out the second part of the cup cake - using photo and not enough time for brain to work out what is the icing! But, that is the key point, look at the colour of the icing (for me anyway). I used my first free ones and lost but my third I got right so maybe I've finally worked it out! xD

Thanks Nordais, for this thread for strategy for this event. I will be doing this event ;):) My strategy for Memory of 2 and 3 Cupcakes.

I always use my smart phone to snap screenshot of what cupcakes to match, I had a free go because this cupcake event looks more confusing especially the choice of Icing and Frostings, The Cake Cases not so bad, as we remember from previous cupcake event last year

As we are getting older now some of us like me are 14 years older playing farmerama :p:p, we are having more grey cells in our brain and need drink coffee xD Even those who write or set up code to write memory of cupcakes on paper or sheet, which make you take your eyes off the screen for a moment as you need more time to write it down when you get to three cupcakes to match or even two cupcakes as it hard to be sure which icing to select because two of them are peach looking :p

Once i taken snapshot on my smartphone i put it against screen of my tablet it helps to match up, I got 39 Cake Boosts from harvest of trees on Green Meadow yesterday i only need 20 more Cake Boost as first mini game is just one cupcake ;)

Those who find the image on small side can enlarge screen image using Browser outside edge as i have touch screen it very easy to zoom in and out Farmerama Screen ;)

We get star coins per mini game regardless, we are successful or fail within time allocated from Mini Game 14 we can win 20 Star Coins, I already have CAC and Pinkest Pie Receipe I am aiming for Butter Cup Reciepe. As i like to get new stuff lol :D:D

We can grow Chocolate Roses in Green Meadow and Main Farm using CAC we can reap 1212 Chocolate Roses per harvest using water and manure approx every 4 hours or so :p getting these event crops wont be issue

WHAT WILL BE ISSUE: Getting enough Almond Milks i getting on average between 36 to 43 almond milks per Main Field Harvest therefore roughly radio is 3 x times as many chocolate roses compare to Almond Milk needed to mill Cocoa Syrup :wuerg::wuerg:

Mooboy's Strategy is to Reap all event crops ASAP as we can harvest 1212 using 1x1 Fields 5 x per 24 hours that = 6060 Chocolate Roses

22340 Chocolate Roses can be grown within 96 Hours of this event without need of using SSG and Crop Boosters won on Farmerama wheel or gold slot, so the remaining time left 36 to 40 Hours give or take :p:wuerg: we can focus getting as many Almond Milk Drops I will see how drop rate pans out then i will implement The Instant Crop Refinement Strategy using fair stock of SG :p:wuerg:

    Good morning :)

I have now begun to enlarge my event window using CRTL plus + and it helps to see the icing as more than one of them look similar when the topping is applied. I have not kept count of how many mini games I have played but yesterday I got more wrong than right :(

I ran out of drops last night so having a drop strategy is needed.

@Mooboy - I cannot harvest 5 times a day. With water and manure, that is 20 hours and my farm day is not that long, so it will take me longer to get enough crops, plus since I made several errors in the mini game, I will need more crops than originally thought as my points are less.

My Chestnut cloud row was ready this morning so I have already completed enough instant carnations to not worry about drops and can now just grow crops.

My first harvest yesterday of trees on Green Meadow yielded over 30 cake boosters. I never needed them on other cake events, but the time feels rushed and it is a struggle to record 3 cupcakes in the time allowed even with a booster. Once those are used, I will put out trees to get the remaining boosters.

Wishing everyone success with this event! :)

You can use the CAC recipe at level 4 of Confectionery. If you earn it in an event, it will be there waiting for you when you reach that level. If you do not get it this event, you can buy it for 199 Barnyard Bills in the shop, but you will have to wait til you reach Level 4.

It is Level 4 recipe. You won't be able to produce it, before you buy the recipe. If I am not wrong, it can be bought with BB from Supply store after you reach level 4.

Roserin: If you buy it with star coins from this event, you won't have to spend any BBs - and the recipe will become available to you when you reach level 5.

Tips for reaching level 5: every day, donate 5 eucalyptus jelly (buy 'em dirt cheap in the market) to the confectionary. Make things in the confectionary whenever you can (pumpkin jam usually sells for a good price at the market, but you gotta have a lot of pumpkins).

Now having said that, I can tell you that I seldom make CAC and I have the recipe on all 3 of my main farms. I get enough from wheel spins, crates and cloud rows, that these farms will never run out and sometimes even share with other farmers.

Back to the topic at hand: I put a longish crop (morrocan mint) in last night on the main field. Hoping that helps with the drop situation. Off to see what the yield is. Ugh.

Rosrin and whom to any other farmers purchasing CAC with star coins will stay in your barn until you reached level 4of bakery to unlock and be able to craft that recipe

Those who not got Pinkest Pie Recipe which can be brought with star coins this is unlocked at bakery at level 5 save your BB within the Shop

I switched up one harvest planting with insta roses and got 3x almond milk drops for the same field numbers. Worth the 8 minutes to grow them (didn't have all the perks to make them truly instant). Tip for those that have done the rose refinement.

Take a pen and paper and write down the orders from right to left.
For example, write the first order 213, the second 415, the third 223 etc. on paper and apply the codes you wrote again after the orders are placed. Don't worry, after a few jobs, you will memorize the codes and start applying them from memory...

I have got into the rhythm with the photo method and (famous last words), like upa70, I am getting 100% correct Cup Cakes! :p

I am using one field for "instant" Carnations - just happen to have all the right things in the Greenhouse - and in 40 minutes, I have a field of Carnations and 134 Almond Milks - 4 times what the event crops give in an hour (with SG!!!). :music:
I am hoping to make it to the CR at least ... here's hoping! :inlove:

EDIT: One thing I have noticed is that for each lot of refined Carnations I plant, I am getting less and less drops: started with (from memory) 134, then 133, 129, then 115. I think I have used enough SG on this so I will make this current planting of Carnation my last - I think with longer crops, I should be able to get enough drops to finish. 8)

This is one of the first events that I have attempted to try "Instant Crops" to help with the drops. I was a little discouraged because I don't have the 2 cloud rows that speed up the super grow ( Harvest 2014 & Pharaos herbs), but this is what I did..

In the plant refinery add the following Roses buffs:
    Water love - 6%
    SG love - 20%
    Early bloomer - 7.5%
    Duo Fertilizer Love - SG 9% & Manure 20%

In the Gold bonus slots I used:
    Fruit Cake - 5% SG
    White Innocence - 10% SG

In the Silver bonus slots I used:
Elixir of life 4% flowers -6hrs
Source of life 6% flowers -8hrs

Using this I was able to get close to instant crops, taking the roses from over 10 hrs production time down to 7 minutes!
I planted roses - 44 large plots with water, manure and SG -- This gave me 44 drops in 7 mins. :inlove::inlove::inlove:

UPDATE: I tried this on the comfort plots and it yielded the same results 44 drops but it took 32 mins. The Reg 2x2 plots are the way to go unless you have truly instant crops with 0 time and would like a larger yield on the crop itself.

Update #2 - I have finished the event, thanks to the drops from the Roses! I spent a few hours cultivating Roses to get the remaining drops I needed. Each time I harvested it was exactly 44 drops.. no variation. It seems that the drops vary when you use the 1x1 plots.. I tried 1 round with all 1x1 plots and the yield was not worth using all the extra SG.. I will be sticking to the above plan for future events.
    Happy Harvesting everyone~~

Yesterday, I activated an Overall 200% revenue plus a 100% plant revenue, Chestnut Cloud row, white innocence and after doing instant carnations on the Main field, I put the event crop in Comfort fields and with water, manure, super grow and suzy's super grow, I was getting 66 crops per CF in about the same amount of time as planting in normal fields with water and manure. I had enough crops and drops to mill and play 35 games yesterday.

Last night I still had event crops in Main field and placed trees in Green Meadow as I had used all my time boosters. The last 2 games I played last night didn't have any time booster and so I discovered I can successfully record 2 of the 3 cakes in the 5 seconds, but cannot do the third one.

This morning farmwheel spins gave me another 100% and a +1 crop for 6 hours so I now have finished growing crops. I'm waiting for the trees to be ready to finish getting the needed time boosters to complete this event. I have 2935 points and should reach the CR today once crops, drops and time boosters all align :)

I had the resources and time yesterday to devote to this strategy but it I'm still not convinced this event is doable without some kind of Herculean inputs. It certainly is a juggling act of growing event crops and long crops for the drops and event crops and trees for the time boosters.

I'm rooting for you all that you reach your goals.

For me, I don't want any more sweets for Valentine's Day :pxD

I seem to remember reading a long time ago that it is good to put a short timed crop between longer crops so perhaps a crop of Carrots between to keep the drops coming. However do let me know if that works. I am not doing this event so can't try it out.

I've been doing longish overnight crops with as many buffs as I can muster. I'm afraid that we're going to have to spend BBs on drops. There aren't enough in the baskets that we can purchase, either.

So far, this farm and PM23's haven't spent BBs on drops, but SL's farm has. It's the farthest along...just got the pinkest pie recipe. Was very happy to see that it isn't a real barn burner nor does it require exotic (rare-ish) items.

This farm is having a slog of it. PM23's got a 100% wheel bonus on the first day of the event, so it's really just drops that are needed now.

I wonder those drop numbers. Do you use small plots of plants? The usually number of drops is 44, while instant plants are planted on comfort fields, because usually every plot gives then a drop.

I didn't use comfort fields for insta roses. I used 1x2 plots. I do think that farmerumf is correct that you should alternate crops to keep the drop level up. (I think that was farmerumf that mentioned that.)

I will send you an almond milk tomorrow.
You are best off growing a long crop overnight on the one field which gives drops, choose something that with water (and manure if you're using it) will take up all your sleeping time. It will make a much bigger difference than a few people sending you drops. You can only receive 20 gifts a day.

Can anyone get more drops from the harvest? The most I can get is 202 harvests from 202 tiny fields. It does not change the amount when I use drop enhancer and howie donut (i have 14 howie). Is 202 the maximum amount?

I use small plots to get the maximum drops - planted 176 Carnation overnight and got 179 drops with 26 trees on the outside. I am on course to finish but as Pups said it has taken a lot of resources to get even within sight of finishing! :wuerg:

EnynohE: You can only get one drop per crop plot/tree so 202 drops is the maximum from a field full of 1x1 and/or trees. ;)
