Event mill: Ghost Lantern 18 Merry Spectrias + 2 Eerie Flames + 15 seconds milling time

Each player will get 20 Ghost Laterns to try the mini-game (20 puzzle pieces to complete the first opened puzzle)

I'll give it a go. Think I need to rearrange my other MM field though, running low on normal crops.

 

I hope they fixed the game mechanics of this one, remember the last puzzle event crashed the whole game for days!

I'm in! On the usual 3 farms.

Several MM's ago, I pulled up all the MM workshops. I also did the quests on PM23's farm and got that farm the MM Menageries. The reason for this was twofold: #1 - more space for crops on my MM fields. #2 - less MM animal feeds used.

I was running low on MM animal feeds all the time! And I really needed that room to grow more crops for both the events and the feeds.

What I think I will do is selectively put out a MM workshop as needed for a quest or an event.

So I think my fields are ready and here I go!

PS: THANKS Northy and IpsiDei for starting the strategy thread and all the wonderful information! PPS: Every other day another crate of summery fun is a VERY good thing!

 

Notised this eent just about 6 hours a go, and it was started...edit 10CET so 11 our time, about 10,5 hours a go so missed first 4 hours.... only...

 

I noticed the event a few hours later and unfortunately I forgot to use my season tokens. It was a bit annoying. I will do my best for the event. Good luck to everyone.

 

I apologize if this has already been answered somewhere but I made the mistake of putting puzzle pieces together then realized I didn't have enough puzzle pieces for the whole puzzle, will the pieces I already put together remain that way or will I have to start all over again? Can't mill more till after next harvest.

 

You can continue later, when you have pieces. Pieces in right places stays in the picture, others stay on "storage area".

Thanks Nordais for the numbers, I am all in. The CR and rewards are quite elusive. The only thing I do not really like about this event is the tiresome and eye-straining mini-game requiring a lot of time and efforts.

 

My baby farms forgot to use theirs, too, c.ciftci. I forgot that I had done some of the season on those two farms. Maybe I should write this stuff down somewhere? Although, knowing me, I'd just lose the piece of paper I wrote it on.

Okay, back to the topic at hand: SL's farm finished the event last night. The puzzles are actually FUN this time around and the pictures are pretty cool, too! PM23's farm got a 200% wheel bonus yesterday morning, so that farm has all or almost all the crops needed, but is lacking drops, so put in terror eggplant overnight that should get her enough drops to mill the rest of the game pieces needed and then it's just puzzle puzzle puzzle. This farm is getting there...slogging through. Pretty sure I'll be puzzling this farm out tomorrow.

 

Much to my surprise, I'm really enjoying this puzzle game. Totally no stress (timer) and we can chart our own path through the prizes.

The game is working flawlessly and I give huge kudos to the techs/devs with the clever way the pieces are placed and locked in position once we locate their spot. I discovered quite by accident a few puzzles ago, that when we move a piece to the board, we can place and continue to rotate/move it until it's in the proper spot. Once it's there, then the rotate symbol goes away and the piece is locked! The boards are small enough, and because there's no timer, we can move/rotate the piece at will until we find its place. Of course, all this is in the FAQ, but do I read those carefully? Obviously not! Despite myself, getting the hang of it as I work my way through.
Best game I've played in a long time.

Took me a while to 'get' that for the CR, we have to use 355 puzzle pieces and (I think) complete puzzle10. I completed #10, and FAQ shows it rewards the CR, but I didn't get the CR, so believe I need to complete more pieces/puzzles first!

 

I have finished 15 puzzles! I have the CR up and running and I Milled 375 Ghost Lanterns plus the 20 free ones to complete
the whole 15 puzzles! I thought it was a fun event! Good luck to all playing and doing the puzzles!

 

All done with the aid of lots of SG and SSG - back to normal MM farming now.
