Feedback "Topiary Riddle" Weekend Quests

Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the "Topiary Riddle" Quests in this Feedback thread. We are looking forward to capturing your initial reaction to the event, as well as the final opinion after participating in the event.

My participation in this event depended on a Happy Discount Day as I have very little PF and didn't want to buy a pack this time round.

I was disappointed when a Happy Discount Day didn't occur but I suppose we have just got so used to one happening during a breeding event. The introduction of these mini events allowed a lot of us to progress with the breeding FSQs and we shouldn't take it for granted that we will always get one. I did think it was weird having a Baby Boom on Friday, then PF Sale and Farm-Coin-A-Palooza on Saturday and Sunday. There is probably some reason but it escapes me.

I didn't think the requirements were very high but I wasn't that excited about the prizes - again they are mainly the "chance" of something good and I prefer an actual item named. As said by another farmer in the other Feedback thread, I would like to see some breeding animals as prizes (especially high end animals!) but they are rarely offered.

I think I have blown it for the CR items if I don't do the first weekend quest so I will not worry too much about the other weekend quests and only do anything if there is a Happy Discount Day.
This is not meant to be negative feedback, just saying why I let this one pass me by.

 

I was AFK with real life Friday and so missed the brief Baby Boom. But I wanted to complete the entire thing so I went ahead and did it on Sunday anyway. Usually for breeding events we'll have the early BB and then another one at some point during the time frame - I thought this was poorly handled and unfair to the vast majority of players. Even with the amounts of PF available through the game now, it doesn't make sense to breed without BB. I thought the overall requirements were quite reasonable, however. hope for the remainder that we go back to the usual schedule of at least a BB for a few hours on Sunday!
