    A garden spade drops once in a blue moon. It's been at least a week since I've seen one drop. IF one drops, I may get a second one in close proximity, then I won't get one again for more than a week.

    Why do y'all have market requirements for Lady Slippers when you know the garden spade really doesn't get dropped. If there is a particular plant, tree, that needs to be planted to trigger the drop, please share the information.

    Hello BonbonQueen,

    The garden spade is a rare tool that is dropping as intended. Drop behavior in Edelweiss Valley is just like other areas of the game in that the longer the items (trees or crops), the better the chance.

    I had/have the same problem, it took over 2 weeks to get 1 spade. The only EV crop I don't harvest much is the mushroom, I did get a spade from harvesting them. Was it my imagination? I dunno.... but they're the most "costly" crop to craft that I have right now (I'm level 26), so if I want more spades, I harvest mushrooms... Good luck BbQ!
