    Weaver Bird
If you look closely at the pictures, you will see that the weaver bird is building a nest. The strands of twine of the nest can be seen. In the last photo you can see in its beak, the twine or strand of leaf used to weave the nest. Actually it is threading the strands. That's what the photos show. I zoomed and took the photo. The branches and other weaver bird nest were hanging inside a well. So while taking the photos I could not see or realise that the bird was building a nest. After loading the pictures in my laptop, it was clearly visible. I was so happy. I sharing it here.

The tree is Pithecellobium dulce (Madras Thorn Plant). I love its fruit. It bears fruit only during the month of April and May, that is summer.

I have a feeder right outside my window and they are soooo fun to watch. Some sit and drink, some just float there, and some come close to the window and go up and down looking in like little peeping toms! Thanks for the amazing, beautiful picture.:inlove::inlove: I am a Tech numpty, so I can't post pics but I love looking at others!

I don't have humming bird picture peony. But have sunbird pictures. Next post I will share it. It is very difficult to photo shoot hymming bird. They keep on fluttering and are very small. Sunbirds also pose the same problem. I nearly spent more than half an hour took get one good picture of sunbird on a flower.

I have photoa of lions too. I took them once when I went ttot Vandalur Zoo Lion Safari. If possible I will try to loacte them and post it here.

That's really superb sanddollar. :inlove: Once upon a time I wanted to do it and do bird watch. But I never could do it. So very envious of you.;)

These are Mangrove forest at Pitchavaram, Tamilnadu, India. Photos are by me. Instead of roads we have canals (waterways) bounded by trees. It was quite a different exprience travelling inside it in a boat. So calm. No other living being in sight except a stray bird and I saw a crab. Just us, water and the mangrove trees.

The cannals were just like streets, junctions etc.

This how we enter the cannals

    and from then on ....
