Upon this harvest, I'm switching out crops to terror eggplant for overnight as I think we're going to need the longer crop to get ahead of the curve for the weekend quest...

 

Finished the midnight race.

 

I have about half the drops needed for this event so if any of my neighbours want to send me anything, I would prefer Witches Hats. Thanks in advance.
This is not an SOS, it's just the easiest way to broadcast my gift preference to my dear neighbours!

 

SL's farm ran the first race...ugh. I really liked the old mechanics better. I wasted an XXL fuel without realizing what I was doing. At least it was just one. Be careful in choosing which arrow to pick!

I've been sending the hat drops today and will through the weekend - they seem to be dropping less than the oil cans for this event.

 

offf ı dont understand how ı can use 2xlarge button. Which botton will we press for taking double present? old version was more beautiful than new

After making some mistakes and wasting resources , I realized that with this new mechanic, playing became easier, but planning in advance our moves became more difficult, because instead of seeing all the prizes, we have to consult the charts and memorize or take notes. Oh, this old brain cells

 

I have finished the Midnight Race! A BIG thanks to Nordais, as I used your post to get the 2 sets of givers.
You did all the hard work for me by figuring out what I needed to grow and mill for each race! I used and stayed on the bottom row so I found the game quite easy as I just did what the green arrows wanted! Good luck and again a BIG thanks Northy!
Don't forget to put your givers out so you can put them on the cloud row as they have charges on them!

Another thing I don't understand is whether there are hidden gifts in these empty places.

 

No hidden gifts. Just the ones you see as you progress.

I finished this event on this farm this morning. This farm always struggles with drops. So I had the crops, just needed to harvest the TE and mill more fuel and finish the last race.

I doubled up on a few things - the piccolo boxes at the end of the last race and all the givers.

 

What on earth?

i can't even get into the air, i have 20 of each fuel, the first yellow plane, when i hover over it, it turns into an arrow BUT none of the arrows turn green and i can't get into the air, am i stuck?

Before clicking on the first machine, you could choose your fuel and move forward, did I grow 23000++ plants for nothing, with a lot of green drops!?

I don't think so, please help me, something here must be an "easy prank and thing"?????

EDIT: writing helped, or not, maybe "reload" helped, now I´m flying....

 

I did manage to finish this with just 7 Witches Hats left over.

I do think the number of drops increased yesterday which was the only reason I actually finished - maybe we were heard in Feedback or maybe it was to make the event a little bit more "exciting"!
Lets just hope the next weekend event doesn't cross over the same fields in another event again!

I should finish this event today or tomorrow morning at the latest. I was a bit befuddled with the new layout but, as I progress and am nearly finished (!), I think I get it!

I'm nowhere near finishing this event. I could not even finish the second "race". Too much crops wanted in too little time for me.
I even made the mistake to plant other crops when the weekend quest was finished, I thougt that was the end of needing the event crops. My mistake, but I miss a lot of info since the Dutch branch of this forum is closed. At first I didn't know how to fly the plain because I miss the up, down and forward arrows like with the non spooky chapter of this.
