The Nighthogs

This is an event where we need to donate barn products + event crops to 4 different characters. Once a donation is completed, the character will go to sleep and players will need to donate to another characters.

Each donation will advance a meter for that particular character, each meter has 12 steps. There's 3 options offered to players : option 1 and 2 will advance the meter by 2 steps, option 3 will advance 3 steps. Option 3 is the favorite donation because it only requires 4 donations to complete the meter whilst option 1 and 2 need 6 donations.

Salt Flower Time: 5 hours and 30 minutes Gives (2x2): 220 EP Plantable on the Main Field only!

Six-string Shrubbery Time: 8 hours and 45 minutes Gives (2x2): 352 EP Plantable on the Main Field only!

I didn't put the total for gaining the first Mariachi upgrade because players just need to do 3 characters. The same for the 2 other Mariachi upgrades that players can get from reaching level 11 on both Borsty and Porky Chubbs' charts.

Some of the barn products can be switched for others depending on players' inventory (eggs or scissors could be used instead of Angora wool, etc).

120 cheeses are mandatory to complete the event!

Candlenuts and Gelatinous buckeye berries can be switched with 4350 Acorns.

Thank you, Nordais/Northy - I couldn't get my head round how to make the requirements clear or work out the figures themselves! Always grateful for any help with the maths!
Not a lover of this type of event but I will give it my best shot! I think I can do it okay but we shall see!

I appreciate the comments about donations as it helped me decide my resources are not enough (since I decided to it was more relaxing to do the Harvest Festival - even though I am not striving for any ranking!).

I shall skip this event and wish all those participating success!

 

They have increase amount of Cheeses for Borsty to 320 Cheeses

 

I started this event on this farm and sewinglady's. The others are sitting it out entirely. And I am regretting starting it on this farm...the products are the issue as this farm does not manufacture products. We'll see how far I can get without going bankrupt.

 

Normally on this style of donating, I automatically go for option three for the three steps. However this time, with the eight hr 45 crop I am going to go as far as I can with just the 3hr 58min crops (water and manure) and take two steps instead. I feel that the numbers are not balanced and the long crop is a waste - maybe I will only consider it overnight. WIP, I will see how I go!
Edit: Well, that was complete garbage. Option three All round!

 

I messed up with my Baha planting yesterday, not badly, but I wanted to balance the crops out so they would be of the right amounts to donate at the same time ... strategy not my strong point on this one obviously!

I have now decided that I will do all the short crops during the day and the longer crops overnight and when I have a good amount of all of them, just donate and see what happens, going for as near to planting the exact amounts towards the end. In other words, winging it!

I've updated the numbers with the new cheese info. If BP raised amounts after the event started, they should also raise the rewards with it.

 

The new rhododendron tree at 1655 followed closely by the even newer giant daisy tree at 1615.

This farm and sewinglady's are done with this event, CR up and running. Sure wish that last giver was shorter timed than 40 hours. Heavy sigh.

 

I have completed this event , earlier than I expected I got lucky won 200% harvester for 12 hours , This Booster not Long enough to use Comfort Fields to get Good stock of 4 event Crops I stay using 1x1 fields used 1 Jack O Gift

320 Cheeses is crazy and very expensive option so I just used 120 Cheese, I put out my Cheese production workshops I used all my workshops booster buffs reaped 320 cheeses selling them in the markets at 770000 cc Each

I choose option to donate 300 Capybaras
Because Capybaras are 5 times cheaper than Cheeses in my Market

 

Smart!

This farm bought cheeses on the market and made other farmers on #9 very wealthy. However, I also bought and used one of those rainbow bonus things, so I didn't have to donate as many cheeses.

 

Completed too, thanks to the spining ticket tricks posted a few weeks back! I'm catching up with MM stuff too: right now my 1x1 MM plots gives out a wooping 87 crops!

 

All done, nice and easy pace, I used every bit of willpower to stop myself throwing the green stuff at it - a little short of SSG and wanted to have a healthier supply of SG.
I only got one 6 hour +1 crops in the whole event but, even so, I seemed to meet the requirement with relative ease!
