pro's: good event for "free" gamers as paying players get no advantages with their endless buffs

cons: the harvester glitches every time harvesting on the octopus field meaning millions of players have to refresh their game every time they do a harvest.

The instructions might as well have been written in chinese. Certainly not clear enough what needs to be done to complete the event.

The mismatch in time on this event is very frustrating. IE 4h20mins to grow the kelp and 4 hours to harvest the tentacles and quills seemingly messing this timing up more than actually assisting in the game is frustrating.

Otherwise a good random event going on seperate from the game with not the best prizes overall but no crazy requirements on products except 1000 roses needed.

I honestly thought it was physically impossible to complete this event on time but that might be the bad instructions. I'm hoping to complete it

 

The harvest interface is really tiny and pops up in the wrong place when trying to harvest the tentacles.

 

This is a fun event, with some different aspects to the usual. My only complaints have been stated above - the discrepancy in harvest times for crops and tentacles, and the fact that absolutely nothing can be done to speed or increase things. I feel like the use of the event field, rather than giving a fair shot to more casual players, simply serves to punish the dedicated players. The number of players saying that they are GETTING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT to harvest is absolutely absurd! If we have to play without any augments, then there should be AMPLE time to complete it for casual players, and thus any dedicated players should be able to complete it in approximately half of the allotted time. By my own calculations, even with having to work two of the first three days and thus missing at least one prospective harvest/tentacle gathering each of two days, I am still easily on track to complete - but I'll be taking the whole time to do it. So how then, are the once a day players, the ones that this sort of thing is supposed to be for, expected to get much of anything done? Please, please, give us events on the event field, ALL THE TIME but with all options available to us. THIS sort of thing does NOTHING for anyone.

Negative comments over. I absolutely LOVE both crops, and ask that we could have them permanently in the game. LOVE the tentacle concept, it's fresh and fun and adorable. LOVE the format, the upgrade/speed up options for tentacles, that we get to choose. Excellent prizes and so far, a very fair drop rate. So for the event itself, there's not a single thing not to love! Just... playability could be better!

 

I do enjoy this event. For the first time, an event on the event field doesn't feel like pulling teeth: each harvest gave us the opportunity to do something with it. Unfortunately, once all tentacles were upgraded harvesting kelps for Fancy Quills became worthless. With so low numbers of kelps being harvested, why block the usage of Fancy Quills to just 1 per tentacle is just wrong. Already making it impossible to sink in both tentacle and kelps harvests, why would player lower by just 1 hour the harvest of a few tentacles??!!

The graphics are just wonderful and eventho the octopus is really small, I didn't experience any difficulty harvesting tentacles.

The prizes were good, but there's too many TEP being offered and why give out base octopus stalls and yellow upgrades when we can purchase them already with CCs? My main farm had already 68 octopus stalls just with opening baha wonder stables, I did not need 10 more with some yellow upgrades... I'm gladw for all the extra 1x1 givers, even if they only have 3 charges they're still quite good to have!

I hope that the next events on the event field will be build like that! A big thank you to the devs!

 

I don't like this event:

1. the event playfield is not playable in de famera mobile app
2. today the hole day i couldn't log in in different browsers on my mobile
3. So is missed harvests and could not have collect the tentacles ( i think i have the same problems tomorrow and wednesday)
4. the game is lagging after you are on the eventplayfield and BP does nothing i read on the german forum this weekend

This was surprisingly relaxed and enjoyable. The FAQ was very....unhelpful, but my fellow players laid it all out nicely, so I decided to play. I am not finished yet, but it looks like I will make it. I did find it VERY frustrating to have to restart my game every time I harvested the event playfield. Not sure what caused that, but I see a lot of people had the same problem.

 

This was too much for me, I wish there was more time. I am usually able to complete all the events but im nowhere close to finishing this.

I like the event field because it does not disrupt anything else but not so much because none of the usual boosts work there. And not a fan of the "open fields a dozen steps at a time" when there's only a limited number of days to do it. I got a late start so it was already impossible to finish when i started

 

I have to give a negative feedback. Those who are working/at school in daytime have no opportunity play and harvest every 3-4 hours! So I have missed harvesting many many times (now 58/290) Mission impossible.

 

So yesterday i also couldn't harvesting on my mobile, i don't understand why we get not more time for this event with the problems we have, also today?

 

I wish there was more time... It's a great event but it won't be ready... I'm sorry

 

I think this was (by far) the best event in the special field ever!

1) the time given to get all the prizes was more than enough (even for late starters like me);
2) the drop rate very high;
3) the CR is very good;
4) the grafics were cute ;
5) very easy and relaxing (after clarifications given by the community );
6) the prizes were generous

Is there more to ask from an event?

 

It's nice to use the event area occasionally and our farm belongs to us, each farmer works for his own shortcomings, I guess it's like a short break. I think the duration and rewards of this event are quite good, especially the items earned for new farmers and their rewards were not very attractive for advanced players, but the rewards were good. The only drawback was that the event area could not be accessed from a mobile device.
