228 drops - Ixora 82+82+64 + trees on edges, now 1 or 2 times LabLabBeans with Super and ready in the night... EDIT: maybe I need 3 or 4 times, when calculating...

Drops were pretty good, quests were completed in a single harvest

I forgot but you can use Peanut Butter Cup for a better drop chance (bonus 5%) on Bahamarama

Just a reminder that BB and HDD are ongoing atm (Monday morning US CDST). I did some and will collect Friday once the final weekend quest begins. Each breeding gives 2 coin purses!

Also beginning to set up my Main and Meadow fields with stables for the drops. Good luck everyone!

    Hi game friends!

What do you think is the shortest stable/workshop that gets you DROP from each?

I don't think it will do 100%, but I tried Rabbit Red for 7++ hours, my girlfriend got Scorpion Yellow with PW, 3h 48min and my uncle got Frog Ponds for 4h 54min.

Last event when there was a stable/workshop DROPS, the 12h Mouse-Cheese stable/workshop was pretty good...

edit: over-night there was Tortoise 22h stables, 100% without any Howies in the fields

Harvested (just the) two Chicken stables Neon and got one purse. Not bad. That's all I harvested since the event began as I was so 'smart' to harvest all my stables -carefully placed, long-term ones mostly- when my farm day began... roughly one hour before the event started.

Thought we could gift coin purses, but that option is not available it seems!?

I totally ignored my Main and Meadow the past two days as I'd put down my longest stables (no workshops) for the event. One field of tortoise, and the other a mix with longest stables in my barn. Had 58 breedings ready to harvest and now need 160 more coin purses to get the final giver - not to complete the event. Used my two Howies on each field before harvest. Activated Cheese balls and Valentine Pot for faster critter harvest.

Looking to swap out some of my stables and also wondering which ones will give the best drops. Suggestions?

@zilverDolfijn so sorry you harvested early. We have to wait til the event goes live to get any benefit. Not easy to keep in mind as we have our set routine. Hope you can catch up. I find the start/end time of the event a challenge on this side of the pond. It's already several hours to the beginning for me and will end early morning Sunday my time. I barely scrapped by the first event to get the basic rewards, and was better prepared last weekend and today. Not sure I want to use my PF again so hope I can at least get the final giver and the 160 purses with drops.

    Good luck everyone.

Yep - that´s me... With One Howie in ToW and other in the Fields (=2), moving it and collected that "Pizza +7%-thing" --> 44+44 = 100% drops with those Scorpion-Yellows (and using PF...)!

I checked my barn for what I was low on. Put those stables out on mainland and green meadow. We'll see how it works out in a minute.

We have a short-timed baby boom, farm coin, PF/DP sale tomorrow. Waiting to breed until tomorrow morning.

Edited to add: forget it. There's no way you're going to get enough drops from stables on those two fields to get the giver we need for the CR.

If you absolutely cannot breed at all due to lack of PF, then you're going to have to do the silver steps on the first three and save your purses to do all 3 steps of the last segment.

If you have crates that contain PF, open them. You're going to need it.

Oh, dear, I've made a mess of this.
    I should've given today a miss.
    My hazelnuts aren't giving drops
    Today shouldn't have been crops.

Northy's posts have tried their best
To guide me in this current quest
Instead of taking just a peek
I assumed it was like last week
    :wuerg:
    Hazelnuts will take all day
I'm waiting for them to go away
And if I am prepared and able
I will put out needed stables
    :p
    I am checking my powerfeed
to see if I have all I need
My back-up plan is Baby Boom
    To thwart my impending doom.

    Why didn't I just have a read?
Northy wrote what we would need!

There's unprintables I could say later...
    But (edited by a moderator!!!.....)xD

Oh, Davidb1yth007 feel your pain...hope you will get those critters out to pasture and gather enough coin purses!

By using lots of PF, I managed to get enough coin purses for the final giver before calling it a day...just did silver 1-3 and all of 4. Will see what I can garner for the other levels, but won't use all my PF. Good luck to those still working!

I believe it is possible to do this event without any power feed or breeding. I just got the last item, now there is just some gold and diamond level prizes left to do.
I started with longest Neon stables and after that I have mixture of all kind of stables, some are about 18 hours without any boosts and some are much quicker.

Ouch David perhaps needs good strong coffee ;):p

We need total of 383 Coin Purses but do not fret just aim for prize you can get as it is just bonus to get all 383 Coin Purses.

There is another way without need and use of Power Feeds for those who do not have power feed or low stock of them

Remember 5x Flower Spray Arts ( 5 x 20%) Get you instant stable drops Orange,Red, Pink and Neons can get Coin Purses Instantly I have done it when we need drops from stables last year ;):p

How do we get that boost from used FSA? I have many used ones (no charges remain), but didn't think they still give that benefit.

The benefit comes from the charge. Once you have used all the charges, it becomes just a normal giver.

Using power feed on stalls is a waste of ressources: you're sure to get 2 coins purses with each breeding (so 1power feed = 1 coin purse). You're not sure to get a coin purse by power feeding a stall. The minimum breeding needed is 180 (360 coin purses) up to 242 breedings (484 coin purses - needed to finish the event is 483).

In some circumstances this is true, but at other times, I think using the PF to speed up stables can work to our advantage. I set up my Main and Meadow about 36 hours in advance of my anticipated first harvest using my longest harvest stables and feeding with regular feed and water. Every stable gave a purse (maybe more, I'm not sure as I don't keep track). I took advantage of the mid-week HDD and did 58 breedings at 1PF each and harvested those once the event went live. However, I was still a rather long way from completing the event.

After the initial harvest, I used PF on all the same long-harvest stables and had two more harvests during my playing time. I completed all silver steps and finished the 4th step to get the giver. Overnight I kept the long-harvest stables and once again used PF (my choice and I had enough) to reap the coin purses with the first harvest today. Then I switched out the long-harvest stables with 10hr stables and watered and used regular feed along with Valentine Pot and Cheese Balls. I will easily complete the entire event.

My RL situation needs lots of my focus and time, so I need something simple and easy for me to do without much thinking. There is a BB breeding today, but no HDD, so anyone using breeding to get 2 purses, will need to spend 2PF. I would be willing to do that if I had a plan for breeding quests, but restocking my critters is a good option now. I appreciate the strategy shared by others as it gives me more knowledge and choices to consider. Hope everyone finds what works best for them and reaches their goal :)

Update: I am tired today...after reading Northy's comment for the fourth time, I realize he is saying 1PF = 1 coin purse, and even if there is no HDD, using 2PF will always give 2 coin purses. But, I would wager, if I had kept count of my long stable harvests, I did get 1PF per stable. I tried a few times to track the number harvested before cleaning the mess, but my eyes were too tired to either count all the stables on the field, or the ones just harvested and compare to purses dropped. :p
