"National Humor Week" 48 hour Quests

An event composed of three 48h quests that have their own event crop and two event drops.

Groucho Glasses You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the Main Field and Green Meadow only! You can buy them in the shop for 3 BB each.	Hand Buzzer You will get these drops when harvesting your crops and trees on the Main Field [I]and [B]Green Meadow[/B][/I] only! You can buy them in the shop for 5 BB each. The Dodo Nest is a Bahamarama stall that can only be obtained after it's statue in the Golden Banana Temple is activated in room 13 - third statue. The Lilac Tree is a Bahamarama tree that can be found in room 13 - first tree. Without the Lilac Tree statue and the Dodo nest statue activated it is impossible to get the cloud row and one of its givers.

A waste of time for some newer players or a distraction for some others?

Thanks again, Northy, for starting the strategy thread and laying it out so it's easily understood!

I think I am going to skip this one. 25 hour cool down? That means it's an every other day cloud row. Really? Dirty words may have been uttered. Plus it's kind of meh for a cloud row after all that work.

 

Thanks yet again Nordais for doing the hard work for us.

I took one look at the requirements and decided it really isn't worth all the effort - 20,000+ crops required over six days, some of which time will be needed while building up enough crops to fill fields. It is perfectly possible with SG and SSG and any amount of buffs but the prizes are pretty lame and the CR is just EP/TEP.

You can probably tell, I am going to bypass this one unless someone can show me what might make me change my mind (or more likely, what I missed!) - I think I would use more buffs, etc, than I would gain.

I shall skip this and likely most future events as RL has us on a rather tight schedule that also requires me to focus my ancient grey cells to keep all parts in sync, so I'll cheer on all those participating

 

As always a wonderful detailed thread, Thank You Nordais! I agree with illy1996, and I feel the prizes for MY farm just aren't worth it!

Well, this morning I see that the CR has been reduced to 23 hours. Maybe I'll do this thing after all?

 

about 24-26 times in a month 8am, 9am, 10am... 11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23...next day 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 thats 26 times and 27 days...

 

Well it was that way, now it can be daily.

I usually farm around the same time every morning and I only harvest cloud rows once a day - in the morning. So a 25 hour cool down means every other day for me. I don't have time to poke individual cloud rows, etc. Whatever I get when I poke the harvester is whatever I get.

 

The post and correction for the reduced cooldown time for the cloud row to 23h was made after the event started??! An a timed event, really??

Still doesn't change that 600% on EP/TEP plants is not worth it, but we're supposed to log on and refresh each minute after an event starts to see if BP will change things around?!!!?

 

Speaking of typos, I am wondering if 'Shopping Spree 1/2/3' is a carry over from the last event. Why isn't this one noted as 'National Humor Week 1/2/3'?

PS I am not participating in this event, so please don't send me drops

What do you think, since the DROP NAME is the same now in the first 48 hour period and the third, will those extra DROPS be used in period 3 as well, or will we start collecting again with an empty DROPS stock?

I have finished the first part and have long crops in to get more Groucho Glasses ready for the last part. Keep going everyone. You can do it.

 

ps - I don´t remembered that thing, that just now 00:09 CEST it is only 14 hours time when having first DROPS to "Event-Part-2"... so time to use something other than Amaranth (19h37mins minimum) now...

---> just try and double try some plants with Water and manure as close to 14 hours, to get maximum drops also in the berginning of the part2 ! soom editing this and tel what is now the "max-attack" to drops 14CEST...

edit: just lucky me ! "Party Ticket Magic Stalk Row 1" was in use=ready, so that and -6% and -4% time boosters to flowers ---> takes 13 hours 7 min and it´s 13h40mins time now --> I use Hydrangea !

 

I have 259 Groucho glasses ready for part 3 and long crops in for tomorrow Handbuzzers.

 

Do not forget to use your Season tokens! There is just two days left to use them.

 

Field of hydrangeas (22 + hour crop) only gave 57 hand buzzers. Confused.

 

I'm so glad I ain't doing this event! If @puppiesnponies only got 57 hand buzzers, then the poor newer players will get nothing! I'm keeping my super grow for when MM opens up next week!
