Breeding event that required raccoons for donations.

There's 2 "+" signs on the left and right of the screen where donations are needed to progress on the main bar.

Glow sticks are needed also for donations and they can be obtained by breeding:

This is marked as being a medium level of difficulty event but it jumps to being almost impossible if you don't have raccoons already in stock.

There's going to be an 8h Baby Boom at the start of the event.

EDIT 1:

to make all 3 donations of raccoons, players may do so by having 2760 base raccoons in inventory

EDIT 2:

breeding base raccoons for albinos raccoons will give a better exchange value when filling donations (albino raccoon has an exchange value of 2800 compared to 4 base raccoons of 2000)

I am in but I will wait in case we have a Happy Discount Day over the weekend, bit short of PF. If not, I will do it later in the event time, maybe find some hidden PF somewhere!

Thanks for Starting This Posting, Total of 325 Glow Sticks doing left and right side combined As things Stand that Requirement 650 Power Feeds not to mention having 500 + Racoons needed for Breeding

It is always a big if that we get good skips from Breeding, This is First Neon Breeding of Neon Raccoon Workshop, I am Disappointed that we cannot produce Neon Raccoon Stall in workshop

I have huge stock of Raccoons now selling them in my market 15 , I wonder if we will have HDD in next few days others you will need good stock of Power Feeds per Farm

The downside to Darklight Firefly Lair Neon we can only benefit this when MoonLight Mania is running which is due to start next week

 

Raccoon breeding is not neccessary, the donations can be made with only base raccoons. Granted you will need a lot:

first donation 180 000 value worth of raccoons: 360 base raccoons
second donation 400 000 value worth of raccoons: 800 base raccoons
third donation 800 000 value worth of raccoons: 1600 bas raccoons

for a grand total of 2760 base raccoons!

 

Northy, thanks for starting the strategy thread.

I don't know that I really care if my farms have a neon disguise factory or not. I do, however want that neon firefly lair. So I'll do what I can tomorrow just in case we don't get a secondary baby boom and/or a discount day over the weekend.

Phew, that's a whole lotta raccoons! Thanks, Northy...cute critters, but I agree with Mooboy, Moonlight limits us time-wise, and at this stage where I am in the game and RL, I don't want/need the rewards enough to make the effort. I do wish success to all those attempting. Hopefully PF stocks are good and helpful skips in breeding. Guess many players will like pheromones as gifts during the event.

 

Thanks Nordais for the thread and the detailed post! I am in and will start breeding when events start! I hopefully have more than enough base raccoons to do this and I have been breeding them and moving them along sooo maybe turning in the BV of raccoons won't hurt as much! Good luck to all!

 

Exchange value of albinos raccoons is 2800, compared to 500 for a base raccoons. Breeding 4 base raccoons (total exchange value of 2000 (500 x 4)) for 1 albino raccoon with 2800 will give a better exchange value. With some luck, breedings can give a higher coloured animal.

 

I have now completed the Neon Disco event! I also put the Neon disguise on the base and will wait to put Neon Dark firefly out! I did use some of the colored raccoons I had but it was not too painful! Good luck and happy breeding....I did NOT get any good skips BUT these days I don't really expect it!

 

All done on both this farm and sewinglady's. Three full sets of raccoons yielded everything needed.

 

Okay, for those who were brave (and patient) enough to wait, there is a Happy Discount Day tomorrow and a couple of hours later, there are all the usual events: BB, PF Sale, etc. Check out the Mini Events thread.

so we can make choises... I´m thinking easiest is breed racoon because we need coloured ones too... if we want those Gloy Stick´s...IN PLAY...

edit: so 325 breedings, that´s it... now 1 PF/breeding

 

Ouch! My raccoon inventory as been hit quite hard. I'm glad I always kept a raccoon stall going, but this was quite painful for the little gain of the neon darlight firefly... At least it left me with some power feed! (have to end this on a positive note!)

 

Well, changed my mind after reading Illy's post about HDD and BB. I had a decent amount of PF and raccoons as well as a list of critters for quests and just completed the event.

Delighted the neon firefly can be placed in Haunted Manor!

I finished this yesterday and carried on breeding. I have been working on those MM FSQs, they are very tough.
On a good note, I finished Cookie Conundrum! Yay me!

 

Thanks for HHD as it saves 325 Power Feeds for those who waited . I already had decent Breeding Coloured Racoons, from previous event requiring Racoons as i expected many farmers would need fill Breeding huts at least 2 or even three times between 800 to 1200 Raccoons I only used roughly 600 Racoons as I wanted to work on other breed quests to complete with poor skips limited breeding animals to buy in the markets

I have done this event with both Neon Racoon Mask and Neon Firefly, I am not happy we cannot unlock make additional ones even if we like too in Worksop previous neon events would allow that

I made up that disappointment selling my hoard of Racoons made over 3 Billion CC and counting while this event is running I will be buying in the markets what I can use these to work on quests and stock up for future events

Will we getting Neon Raccoon Stall in near future

I have loads of Dark Light Fireflies in my barn, As we have got Cloud Row and buff that increase stock of Darklight Fireflies already as we can only use Dark Firelight Neon during MM active events

Hi Illy doing MM Breeding Quests are most challenging Breeding quests, For starters you need have healthy stock of these in your barn As you cannot buy from markets at All , Also cannot restock these until MM is Active , But you can Mill Spooky feeds any time providing you have sufficient Spooky Crops for them

Next MM will open from 17th until 30th April

 

So right, Mooboy. But, on the bright side, I only need 10 Eldritch Darklight Firefly (penultimate breeding animal!) to finish "The Storytellers"!
