Hello everyone. I have recently returned to the game after many many years; I was pleasantly surprised I have found my account login and noticed I am level 72. I am quite pleased to see my dear old farm and am very thrilled to be playing again. That being said, I am struggling quite a bit to understand how to move forward. I have found the tree of wisdom and noticed I haven't really made much progress in it and haven't actually opened anything big like the Sundown Valley and I am no close to getting it by the looks of it. I have about 7 stars and I have noticed you can get stars by completing tasks. My issue with this is that I have about 400 tasks and navigating through them is proving to be a part time job at this moment and I need about 500 which seems quite difficult. Bahamarama, it looks like I only have the initial field and every thing is locked including new area, tress, animals and crops and I need bananas to unlock this which again, I don't really know how. I have been playing again for 2 weeks and I have managed to gather 30 bananas and not sure how or where to get them from. Another issue I have is the bakery, I am only on level 2 and not sure how you level up. That's the only craft I have and don't know how to open the rest. The sticker area, again, I have no stickers and don't have a clue how to get any. The let area looks like it requires some special 500 coins? Again, it looks like I have 90 but no idea how and where to get more? I would really appreciate if anyone can take their time and explain some of the above for me as I am so excited to have this game again but I remember it being less complicated.

    Hello AndreeaSili

Here you can find the Faq index. I think you will find there a lot of answers.:)

Thank you, that's quite useful. I read about the Artisan Village specifically the Bakery which I have. According to that post, at levels 1 and 2 I am meant to bake more items such as Langos however, I can only do a basic dough, bread and short crust pastry. Is that correct?

Hi, AndreeaSili, Welcome back to the Farm! If I may add to the discussion, I migrated here just over three years ago from another farming game. I love this game as there's so much to do that I think suits a wide range of players and playing styles.A long time player suggested to me to take my time and initially focus on opening all land areas. I took her advice and skipped all events, including the Season, for several months. As someone who isn't able to pay to play and only bought the harvester subscription because my ancient bones couldn't cope with doing all actions by hand, I don't regret taking my time. Now, I pick and choose which events to tackle.

    My suggestions would be:
    - First, open up all land areas in Main and Baha and finally all areas in the Pet Playground, Park, Lighthouse, Haunted Manor, Castaway Coast, and Shipwreck Island. Put down all those reward items and collect on a daily basis. We earn T/EP by planting and harvesting and early on, leveling up goes fairly quickly. You earn bananas by doing FS quests and leveling up in Baha.
    - Tackle a few Farmer Society quests at a time as you earn useful items as you complete each step/level.
    - Take advantage of Gift and Trade by posting a wish list of items you need. Remember for Baha items, most need to be unlocked in the Temple before they can be received.
    - ask lots of questions (but be careful not to double post as I did early on, resulting in my being blocked from the Forum for 24 hrs! I had no idea what double-posting was til that experience! :D)
    - To level up in the Artisan's Village, you can make items, or if you have enough coins, you can buy high point products in the Market for each craft and use up to 5 products a day towards leveling up. I do that as I have no interest in producing/using/selling items in the market. It's a slow process, but it works for my playing style.

I'll add you as a friend and am happy to send CAC and Seasonal Givers. Glad you found your way back to the farm! :)

Thank you so much MeadowCrossing, I really appreciate you taking the time to help. I have tried adding you as a friend but I'm told you have enough friends. If you ever need another one I will happily be your neighbor

Friends and neighbours are two different things. You can add friends in post office and you can have more friends than neighbours. Neighbours are automatically also friends. MeadowCrossing would not be able to send you anything, if you are not in the friend list.

My hint to the game is to check your decoration inventory and consumables there. Open your crates and you may find a lot of useful things there.

Always happy to see a fellow farming enthusiast! I added you as a friend yesterday; as Päärynä11 mentions, friends and neighbors are different and both can exchange gifts; neighbors have the added benefit of receiving EP when a neighbor levels up and if a neighbor makes certain purchases, then other neighbors receive some of the item bought.

That's good to know, thank you! I wish I would've stuck to the game since I started it, it's been a long time. I remember we used to get a wheel ticket everyday but I can see that's no longer the case. The wheel.used to be one of my favorite things to do. I once won a Moose stable which at the time was a big deal, I can see there are better stables now haha.
