Meet the Dinosaurs

This is an Event field event that's stretched on 13 days (8th of May 2025 - 21st of May 2025)

Players will need to chose one out of the two event crops:

The Event field will be splited in two, each event crop will have its own area to be cultivated on. Depending on which chosen event crop is, its corresponding area will be opened at the start of the event.

To open the second area, players will need to reach level 11 on the 24 listed in the chosen path. Numbers are:

Rewards: +1 revenue when harvesting Scorpion and Tiger stables for 6 hours
Cooldown Time: 40 hours
Requires any two 1x1 deco items and any two 2x2 deco items

Rewards: 110 CC x Farm Level, 17000 EP x Farm Level, 1 x Crate O' Bonanza Goodies
Cooldown Time: 22 hours
Requires Playful Geyser, Beware the Cavekitty, Bonfire Party and Prehistoric Naptime

There's also 2 customers with 4 part orders: each with one event crop, event drops and mainland/bahamara crops/tree fruits/animals/products/breeding animals.

Client orders will be optional. The yellow circle mark where the prizes from the progress bar are offered.

Well, here we are back to the event field Thank you Nordais for the great post and number crunching. I am happy to say mine are the same, starting with the Skullette 5 hour crop and then doing the 10 hour one. I want to get the 5 hour crop
done and out of the way! Good luck everyone and I hope we reach our goals!

Despite being on holiday, I will participate in this one just cos it is on the event playfield though, due to travelling, it may be a bit optimistic to anticipate finishing. I do get some time in the morning and the evening so I may start with the longer crop, dunno! But it is no biggie, I'll do what I can - didn't even expect to try any events.
A big plus is that it is a two weeker!

Numbers have been lowered subtantially except for drops which were risen in the beginning and lowered in the last step. Number charts have been modified. The skullette has a 5h growth time (4h with water - 3h36 water+manure), ammonitia 10h (8h with water - 7h12 with water+manure).

 

I'm glad to see the revised requirements

I like that the event field gives my main lands a chance to work on normal farming, no milling, and nothing that needs to be done to prepare.

From the standpoint of harvest yields, it won't matter which size plot to use, but it will matter for drops. I will use 1x1 plots to give the best opportunity for drops.

It is a 2 week event so progress will be very slow, but for me, the cloud rows are worth the effort so I'll give it my best.

Tell me about it; I haven't finished an event in the last month. Like you, I will do what I can for whatever I can get. Good luck to those participating fully - have fun!

 

What I love the most about having an event on the Event Playfield is that I can do whatever I want on the rest of the fields. We all agree on that, right? So lets define 'whatever'!
Intense Cropping
We are all used to getting extra crops with CAC but that is only +2 per square. There are +3s available;
Hibiscus Jam for Veges, Paradise Garland for Flowers, Tropic Colada for 'Other' and
Chocolate Croissant for Grains.
The main drawback is that you have to co-ordinate the same type of crop on the Baha fields with the Main fields.
This is easy enough for most with the exception being 'Grains' where there are only three Baha crops, and none long enough for 'over-night'.
So if your goal is to clean up crop heavy Quests, then +3s are a big help!

I just want to remind everybody the new baha crop Crassula is the 'other', if you wonder what to grow with +3. We can get it using golden bananas at same time as event starts.

 

The event start time as been pushed by 2 hours because of a sync problem. The bahamarama content upgrade too will be available at the same time.

 

The EVENT area is a total mess!

With the combine, the machine first places 16 BIG fields, then supposedly 37 medium-sized ones and 81 smaller 1x1 fields and voila, the fields cannot be manually moved or placed, I had one empty slot and the machine says "I will place 81 fields"...

I wonder if there is anything selected there after 3h36min, at least I had to go out of the game between loads, to select those plants for example twice, the selected selection was not remembered!

 

My computer crashed and has been in for repair for two weeks. It just arrived. During this time, I had to struggle a lot to log in to my farm from my mobile phone because it would kick me out of my farm in less than a minute. I tried to log in every day and send gifts to my friends without giving up and of course I couldn't participate in any events. I finally got my computer back a while ago. I hope it doesn't crash again. First, I chose a 5 hour dried flower and started planting it. Good luck to everyone.

I'm trying to decide which crop to plant first and I'm a bit annoyed that I can't grow the crop on the WHOLE field - why? Since we can't do them both at the same time?

PS: I normally choose the 10 hour crop first for the drops. Will probably do the same even though this is the event field.

I first took the 5-hour plants, should I now deliver first:

1) Skullette path
or
2) deliver to Customer number one?

It said at the beginning of this that:
"Client orders will be optional."

Does that mean that THIS TIME delivering to clients DOES NOT PROMOTE overall progress AND DOES NOT unlock any new features or levels or anything else?

 

Completing clients' orders will only give you the bonus crate called the Crate O'Prehistoric Goodies. The only way to get the other half of the area of the event field opened is by filling donations in the main bar up to level 11, so you need to do the Skullette path.

You are correct, the orders do not promote progress. you have to reach level 11 donations to unlock the next field.
but I found a little glitch. If you unlock the 5 hr plant first... after planting... the next time you log in it still asks which one you want to do. I selected the 10 hr plant. It did not unlock the field but it gave me 5 of the seeds. I went to the main farm to access the game and it let me apply the seeds to the 10hr progress. so every 5 hrs it replenishes and you can keep donating the seeds to further your progess for the 10 hr one, whilst working on the 5hr portion. not sure if that will help you but I thought it might be worth it. I tried it the revers way on my other baby farm but it didnt work with doing the 10r first.

 

I've started with the 10h crop in hope that drops would be good but it doesn't seem so. I have about 130 drops. How are people doing with drops from the 5h crop?

 

I have 175 and delivered 30 already. Next step I need 60 drops. I use 1*1 plots.
