I made the mistake of choosing 10 hour crop first. Back at work from Monday so it's just a waste of time now.

 

I began with the Skullettes and have, like enk52 above, have delivered 30 tools and have 158 tools in stock. I am using 1x1 plots.

It is slow going with only 81 crops every 3.6 hours. I have completed 5/24 steps.

 

If I counted correctly, I have 139 as drops from event area (this do not include drops from Magic trees and gifts from neighbours). I use big fields. I just started to donate level 7.
If you have Magic trees in your storage, it is good time to use them.

 

Hi, I am using 1x1's and the 5 hour crops with water and manure. I harvest again in an hour BUT right now I have 743 skullette and 240 drops that does include neighbor gifts and 8 magic trees I have NOT turned anything in yet!

 

Having lots of magic trees really helps. My condolences to the players without them.

Even this farm having 6 that get harvested every other day is a bit of a boon.

I am skipping delivering any of the event items/crops to the customers. Neither farm needs more TEP, etc.

I chose the 10 hour crop first. At 7 hours 12 minutes duration with water and poo, if I get up in the night, I can manage 3 harvests a day. I am insane. I know this.

I am having "theme week" - "other" crops on account of the new Baha crop, so using the +3 Tropical Colada in the diamond slot and planting "other" crops on all fields. One can NEVER have enough gooseberries.

I didn't wake up at 4:30 and harvest my event crops. Bad farmer. Bad farmer. I am hosting the Mother's Day celebration today. Much to do. Better get busy.

 

I hope all the mothers enjoyed their day Sunday! Good news for me todaY I have just completed Area 1 (skullette crop) and have now got the 2nd land open and planted the Ammonita crop! With water and manure I will harvest those in 7 hours 12 min!
I am not doing any of the customer orders I just am not interested! Good luck and happy farming!

 

Congrats on opening the second area! I was dumb enough to start with the 10h first, I won't be able to open my second area before Wednesday (I cannot get up in the middle of the night to do a harvest).

There's the 3rd donation in the client's orders (bottom left corner) that just asks for normal stuff (usully crops) and it gives 1 crate o'surprise + 3 farm coins, that's pretty good in my opinion. Makes it easier to open pet playground areas!

I started with the 10 hour crop and using 1x1 fields after the initial first harvest with 2x2 fields. I am using water and manure to fit 2 harvests a day without getting up at night. I will finish the last step (215 ammonitia) to open the other area this evening. I have 280 tools from harvests.

 

This farm just opened the second are and is now growing both crops. SL's farm has just obtained the first CR. Still slogging along.

There is some good news...sorta. The shorter crop takes exactly half the time of the longer crop. I figure I'll keep growing the longer crop and will donate some to the customer orders.

 

I now have both areas open and this makes me more interested in filling customer orders. I like to make partial donations as well, to reduce my 'balance' to zero and allow the opportunity to get the extra five crops if it coincides withe the five hour allotment... Clear as mud?

 

I also now have both areas open. I was one harvest delayed doing so as I always replant before donating, but I could have done the final donation of the Skullettes before planting and could have opened the Ammonitias a few hours earlier. This delay meant that I couldn't harvest the first round of the 10 hour crop before bed.

I will struggle to get the Ammonitias done as even with water and manure, it will make a 14.5 hour farm day to harvest 3 times a day. In days gone by, I could have farmed that long, but now I just can't so I will have to see how I get along.

I also do partial donations to get the free 5 crops every 5 hours.

We still have a week to go so I'm hopeful that since I reached the 2nd crop halfway through the event that I can still finish.

 

I've also opened the second area, started donations of skullettes. I just wish that I don'T forget to harvest as soon as the skullettes are done so that I don't have a delay between the ammonitia and skullettes. Do I really want that crate now from the customers? I'm not so sure... I just want to get to the second cloud row, that would be good enough for me!

 

Shorter one plants = done.

Longer plants = next donation 150 plants so then rewarded 3 "Issyk Kul" wonder stables & other prizes.

Doing donations Customer1, Skulettes, don´t doing lower = customer 2, only when/then "long straight" is done 100%.
