"Topiary Enigma" Weekend Breeding Quests

3 small breeding quests. Players must be at least at level 30 for the quest 1, level 66 for quest 2 and level 58 for quest 3.

The first weekend quest asks for Tigers, Bahamarama animal, the statue of tigers must be opened in the Golden Banana Temple in room 9, first row, last statue to be able to complete the first quest.

Only 10 of the 12 blossoms are needed to get the giver and/cloud row during the 3 quests that are awarded on level 5 Gold step. This means that a player can jump one of the diamond steps of level 2 (specific animals) or 3 (150000 barn value of animal donations).

There will be a a Happy Discount Day on Friday BUT only for 4 hours. The event starts 4 hours earlier that normal event so to take advantage of it, players should start playing earlier than usual.

I really want to do this event but I am bit peeved about the very short Happy Discount Day -I am in the States at the moment and unless I get up between 2.00 am and 6.00 am, I can't take advantage of it. But I have the PF to do it and the CR looks good so we shall see how it goes tomorrow (busy day) or Saturday.

The HDD is over at 6 a.m. in my time zone. Hey, Illy! We're in the same time zone! Hope the weather is nicer where you are than where I am...It's raining (or snowing, depending upon your elevation) in Montana.

Anyway, I'll do what I can on this one, even without the HDD.

PS: I came here because manure on #9 has gone weird. I think it's because there's an odd issue with expired items still lingering around on the market. I had that issue with SL's farm yesterday, but it was in the crafting trade section. Had to manually delete expired items. So wondering if it's just server #9 or if it's all of them? And/or why poo is suddenly in high demand a week into a two week event?

 

I have never done this before! Am I correct in thinking that I can breed the animals during HDD and then collect them only when the new event starts to collect the badges?
In this way there will be no Baby Boom advantage, but the required badges will cost half the PF to collect than during normal breeding.
Is that correct?

 

Yes - fill your breeding shack during the HHD. Then harvest it during the event. Will save you 1 PF per breeding.

 

This time around, the breeding event starts at the same time as the Happy Discount Day

Happy Discount Day Starts: Friday, 16th of May at 10:00 CET (UTC+2) Ends: Friday, 16th of May at 14:00 CET (UTC+2)

This means that it begins 4 hours earlier than regular event (starting time of normal event is usually 14:00 CEST (UTC+2)). The Happy Discount Day end at 14:00 CET (UTC+2) which is the "normal" time when an event starts. If you want to take advantage of it you'll have to player earlier.

we will need for the CR and the CR sooo I will attempt to do this event! I have given up on waiting for good skips from a baby boomso I don't even care if there is one! Good luck everyone and I hope you reach your goals!

It is 3:53 a.m. MDT and I have completed the quest for this weekend and loaded the breeding hut for next weekend (just in case).

I am now going back to bed.

I have completed Quest 1 and put the Cool Penguin giver out! I also have put Mammals and Reptiles in breeding hut for next weekend! Good luck everyone...time to get more coffee!

 

So I've done something wrong because I don't have enough blossoms.

 

To get enough blossoms, you need to do the silver, gold and diamond steps of level 1, after that you're able to skip the diamond step of either level 2,3 or 4, and after and lastly silver and gold steps from level 5. That will give you 10 blossoms over the 12 available. That's the minimum required to get the givers for each weekend breeding quests and the cloud row on weekend quest #3.

I got up early for the Happy Discount Day and finished weekend quest #1. Penguin is out and it's so adorable. I shoved tortoises in the breeding shack for next week. A full breeding of each (mammal, bird & reptile) should give enough badges for the 3 weekend quests unless the badges get exchanged each week!

 

I messed it up. Can't finish cos didnt do it in that order.

I can't finish either, I guess I did something in the wrong order and now don't have enough blossoms and I can't get anymore because I need blossoms for the levels I have remaining....oh well.

ALL of us where Played since 2010 (Yes we have BD-giver with Year 2010 on it).

First time EVER - missed Event TOTALLY. No-one of us rememberde it, before now, in 23.18 local time and 1st part ended 23.00 local.

And not even single look to CR´s hope so there is "nothing" to us too... sad if some 150x EP of Farm and 200% of givers or something but if something to Animals, not so bad busines.. Now I HAVE TO look CR´s...

I haven't looked it up MYSELF, but can I start with the SECOND PART and still get enough of those "Blossoms" to get the "Piccolo Box" from the very last part in week 3?

I mean, don't we need any special blossoms to get through the very first level of the second weekend of the event to the end?

Can I even skip the other rewards and get that Piccolo Box by just doing the tasks of weekend 3?
