    Howdy Farmers,

As you may have noticed, we're currently working on refreshing and improving some long-standing mechanics this year. One example is the change we've made to the seed searcher: we wanted to reduce the element of randomness, which can sometimes feel unfair. That's why we've introduced a linear progression and a fixed order for the seeds – so they now appear in the exact sequence of the tasks.

To stay consistent with this change, we've also disabled plant availability in the market during the event. Otherwise, the event could become significantly easier and lose some of its intended challenge.

Our goal is always to make events engaging, enjoyable, and a bit different from the last – and this event is no exception. We're committed to staying in close contact with the community, listening to your feedback, and making changes when something doesn't turn out as fun as we had hoped.

Thanks for being part of this journey with us.
    Best Regards,
    Your Farmerama Team

My initial reaction to this version of this event is disappointment at the time changes to each crop. In previous versions, the order from quickest to longest is the order that you show in the FAQs; i.e. Water Berry, Valley Rose and then Prickly Fungus. But Now, just to penalize me for having a memory, Prickly Fungus is the quickest!
    Humpth.
    :wuerg:
Edit: I was also disappointed not to be able to sell my excess seeds on the market, but I take the point that this was enabling others to do the event without working for it;- i.e. all they had to do was spend cc's...

Still reserving judgement on many parts of this - but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that there is no timed feature on the puzzles!!! Also that when we earn a "speed up the seeds" reward it goes for days!

    Edit to add:
Having now finished the event far sooner than usual, because of not having to wait to be able to play all the games necessary to collect the +bonuses, and because the growth-time bonuses actually worked better, I have to say, I much prefer this iteration! Again, REALLY love that there was no time frame on the mini-game. My ONLY complaint is that we can't keep playing more mini-games :)

I must admit, I am so pleasantly pleased with the change in this event, I am doing it while on holiday! :inlove:

I like that the total randomness of seeds has been taken away and we know what we can get from the get go. The drop rate (for me anyway) has been pretty good, meaning that we can grow seeds from early on in the event. I have managed after less than 24 hours to do 28 games so I am on target to finish the event, either at speed or taking my time. My choice. :music:

I would definitely have passed this event without a thought if it had been as it was before but I am actually enjoying it and will do it in the future if it continues to evolve in the same way. :)
All in all, good job all round devs. Thank you. ;)

I've always loved this mini game the most. So I am sad there are changes. I'd love to dig into it and see how it goes, but the holiday weekend is too busy. :(

Edited to add: I was able to get time to play, and I do like most of the changes. But the bahama drops were so low, I'm just waiting and waiting on that. But that's my own fault for starting so late.

I am enjoying this event and have got much further on than I thought or expected. The only thing I don't like is that we cannot donate to the seed part till we grow enough of those seeds so why put a 50% reduction on the first three levels? I was going to do all of my seeds at once for each type but saw I would lose out on this buff. However, I have decided that I will try to work them in to my plans but forget about them if I don't use them. It's like most events, there are always prizes we don't personally use that others love. Not a biggy but would have preferred different prizes for the first three donations. :p

You didn't lose anything, those time reduction buffs are good for the rest of the event! You can even plan to activate both time reduction buffs for each seeds, that helps alot because it brings down growth time to a quarter of the initial ones! :D

This event was fun all the way around, we could use or not super-growsm Suzy's super-grow and such! Like @davidb1yth007 said, switching the order of time growth from the usual order was a little bit sneeky, but after the two time growth reduction buffs for each seed, it didn't really mattered. Just love the no time limit for the puzzles, that was stressfree and the little pizza designs on the glass window panes was just too funny when you know that the usual dragon event is the pizza oven baking one!

Nordais, I didn't realise that but I had already grown most of one crop so it didn't really help. But I will watch out next time. I agree, so many improvements to the original format. Not really a complaint, just my oversight I suppose. :)

Love there is no time limit playing Mini Games, Also limitations allocation of seedings being removed

Love the fact no milling involved in this event, Also made this event simpler to follow, no Seedings Swaps, Taking out selling seeds in the markets make this event cheaper in terms of CC, Especially newer farmers

I like events that involves drops during events, This actually helped me lots as i ended up with surplus seedings and many of us did not need to play all mini games to complete this event.

I did complete this event on 3rd Day, it helps me resume working with restocking my barn and work on Quests

i was disappointed get lesser prizes in terms of stables;):p

Unfortunately there are too less waterberry seeds to earn. You need 4770 but you can only harvest 3016. Mistake

You have to write English on the EN forum. Thank you

I have not done this event more than once or twice in the past - likely due to the old mechanics. Initially, this iteration was a bit confusing, but mostly due to my having lots going on in RL, and not really going over the FAQ.

I started late, but through trying and reading strategy comments, was able to grasp the sequence after a few days. As several have commented, I very much enjoyed the new mechanics. Much kinder than before and no stress in doing puzzles whilst watching the clock! No milling is another tick on the plus side. Baha drops took a long time to get, but the duration of the event made it doable.

Overall an enjoyable event and I appreciate the devs working to make it more accessible to a larger number of players. I hope this type of event continues in the future.
